When my daughter was sick I had to find the Tylenol suppository and couldn’t find it when the women in the pharmacy helped me, one even came from behind the pharmacy counter to help me find that and the ear drop kit I needed for my daughter after I had been to 2 other cvs’s and target where nobody helped me like the women who work here. Great customer service here. As long as you’re nice to them they’re nice in returnBy Arielle M. (Mermaid) (6 months ago)Always an unpleasant experience, from the moment you walk up and stand in the pickup line, you can feel pharmacy staffs negative energy. Customer service doesn’t exist, it all but seems problematic that you as the paying customer has the audacity to; pick up or drop off a prescription or ask a medication related question. Pharmacy staff appear aloof, often time frustrated, projecting the ‘don’t bother me attitude’. Because most CVS pharmacies including this one is trash, I’ve switched all medications to Amazon Pharmacy, which has been a smooth transition, effortless and free delivery. Beats having to wait in line and receive unwarranted attitude!By Ryan Hunter (7 months ago)I don’t know the beautiful dark skin lady with the weave name that was working at pharmacy today 3/5/2023 until 6pm. But I walked into the store at 5:57 and went straight to the line. She was speaking to another customer along with another gentlemen for almost 5 min. By the time I got to her she refused my service and said “ oh we closed” at 6:02pm. Knowing they weren’t closed and it would’ve have took nothing to give me my prescription I felt that was horrible service. Especially seeing I was in line before it turned 6.If a store or something closed at 10 the cashiers won’t reject the service of those still in the store right?By Jahkema Mua (a week ago)When you wait 45 minutes on the phone for the pharmacy, and then the pharmacist hangs up on you because he doesn’t want to provide you with the service, playing that he can’t hear me. Usually, it’s pretty bad service here. Most of the staff needs basic customer service training. You ain’t doing me any favors, the Rx is getting paid. Still better to go in-person.By Juan Carlos Vega (a week ago)Seriously the worst CVS of all time. Took them 2 weeks to fill bipolar medication despite being told it would be “ready” in 1 hour multiple days. asked about getting name brand meds back and they literally laughed in my face. I had a vaccine appt at 9:00, I arrived 15 min early. Nobody acknowledged me for 20 minutes. There were no other appointments, I was the only one waiting and I waited for 50 minutesBy Shawna Tyree (4 months ago)Pharmacy was rude and hung up on me. Did not help. Unacceptable. Get a new job if you don’t like it there. Don’t take it out on customers who are trying to get medication.By Maggie High (4 months ago)This store filled my prescription automatically which I specifically did not sign up for, consequently I couldn’t get my prescription filled elsewhere. This store has ridiculous pharmacy hours including hours that are inconsistent with what’s posted on the website. Consequently I have been here three separate occasions in the space of the last week where the pharmacy has been closed or closing And would not hand over my prescription despite the fact that this is literally life-saving medication. This is an absolute joke that has hijacked my medication. They need to make their hours better. And when the store is in service and open, the wait times are outrageous. Do not use this pharmacy It’s just an absolute s*** show.By S (8 months ago)Average city pharmacy/convenience store, broad selection of snacks/beauty products/office supplies/etc. Lines get lines at times and you’ll pay more here than a big box store.By Sam Odle (3 years ago)The worse customer service ever!! The lady came to the door at 6:59 and said they open at 7:00 a.m. I’m still here at 7:30 a.m.. What ever happened to business and customer service for African American business???By Marvin Jordan (2 years ago)

The worst cvs I have ever been to. The pharmacy is so bad, I had a flu shot appointment at 3pm and I was waiting till 5pm. Never come to this CVS. Rude staff and extremely bad management. I hope CVS sees this and changes all staff at the pharmacy since this is absolutely unacceptable.
Both of my medications cost about three times more here than at other pharmacies. It was impossible to fill my HRT prescription here—instead of investigating to find that there was an issue with my insurance, staff told me it would “probably be here Monday” two weeks in a row. Will be taking the bus to Safeway in the future rather than dealing with this pharmacy.
Jessica new pharmacist went out of her way to assist me and to explain my concern and frustration when the other pharmacists, last name (Tyson) and DOCTOR (Chris) were agitated when I was asking to explain the reason they were denying me on prescription without the checking authorization, Jessica was clear and patient leaving me very satisfied with clarity, there were three guys at the front cvs cashier that had me on hold and was very rude when I asked to be directed to the pharmacy. Please train your employees proper customer service and attentiveness to customers needs instead of talking. Thank you.
This CVS Pharmacy has been out of my medication for over a week and consistently won’t give details on when the medication will be back in stock. They tell you to call back daily and give you no more information.
CVS is very convenient and the one in Dupont Circle is huge with a second floor so there is a lot of variety and a lot more items than most cvs’s. I guess I frequent it mostly in the evenings and overnight and the staff are always helpful and supportive…Good management at this CVS and they care about the customer and the employees as the employees reflect that to there customers.
