During a recent visit, my 18 year old daughter was treated extremely disrespectfully while picking up a single box of cereal. She was able to locate the cereal on her own, but then spent about 10 minutes at the counter, waiting for an associate to acknowledge and assist her because there is no self check out at this location. All of the associates and the manager were more concerned with receiving their paychecks than they were with providing customer service for a person who was in the store. This is unfortunate because I had previously shopped at this location. Often my job now takes me out of the area, so I am not in the store as much as I used to be. Perhaps retraining would benefit these employees, because your direct competitor, Walgreens, is directly across the intersection and people will absolutely take their business elsewhere if they feel they are treated with disrespect.By Lauren Kasperski (3 weeks ago)CVS was excellent in helping get my son the medication he needed for Pneumonia. They stayed a few minutes late to make sure we got what we needed. We will definitely be going back.By Brooke Woody (3 months ago)This store is an absolute joke. When I called about my prescription to check if it was ready, they never tried to fill it or call me to notify me. When I asked why I wasn’t notified the lady just said “oh I didn’t work that day” instead of giving an actual reason. Then kept sarcastically saying “oh I’m sooooo sorry”. Now I have to wait two weeks to even try and refill it again. You guys are a bunch of jokes.By Blaine Castillo (5 months ago)I’m typically an easy going person and don’t normally complain
but I was given a lesser dose of my prescription, paid $85 for 90 days
Was told I couldn’t get a refund or credit just to double up on the 60mg
to equal the 120 mg that I’m supposed to take every day. Lasting me only
a month and a half. I know there are prescriptions that cost way more each
month for people but my goodness there has got to be something they could do.
I guess I’ll have to double check their work to make sure I get the correct thing from
now on. Too bad my insurance covers cvs best otherwise I’d go somewhere else.By Rebekah Gilmore (a year ago)I have only used this pharmacy twice. Once when I was sick in December with Covid and they sent scripts there at 10:30 am and they still weren’t ready at 7:45 pm. And the girl argued my bf about the script I was supposed to get. Had him drive around 4 times around the building so she could then get the correct script and not even apologize. The correct script turned out to be the one she teied arguing about lol. Last night I went there for my daughter’s script and it got sent in at 1 pm, still not ready at 8 pm. They asked me to pull around the building which I did. They then tell me one of her scripts is on back order. Had they done the script earlier in the day I would have known that and could move to another pharmacy. So she had to go without and they didn’t even apologize. I’m just never coming there again. It’s a nightmare.By Jessica Gann (10 months ago)

Was on hold for over 10 mins with no answer. Had to drive across town to the store just to see the cost of my RX. I got to the pharmacy, the phone was ringing and the pharmacist told the technicians to not answer it and it continued to ring while I was at the counter. I was astounded. I wasted gas to find out the staff wasn’t answering the phones. Will NOT be refilling here again.By Amber Twigger (5 months ago)Horrible experience.
Store closes at 9 was there before 8 needed cash back and to pay at checkout.
Service Representative already had the drawer closed down and was only offering self checkout which I couldn’t use for what I needed . When trying to explain the managed was very Rude .
Showed no sign of empathy.
And really lost a customer.
Only reason for 1 star is the sales they do run are decent .By Sara (a year ago)Worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. After reading other reviews, I realize that it was not just my experiences that were horrible. CVS Corporate should be ashamed of these reviews. I don’t know if they have had a change of leadership over the past few years, but the staff used to be kind. My child and I were treated with so much disrespect, I cannot take my family back in that store.By Jessica Clayton (a year ago)Impersonal, rude, understaffed, poor service. I switched Rx to store 4850 due to insurance, about a year ago. Have never ever had a good experience there on any visit. Pharmacy appears to be a “pill sweatshop” with pharmacist and techs so busy they never look up from their work. You feel their sole purpose is to get you out of there ASAP. The front counter is not manned and you are urged to use self check out.
Yesterday, April 26, I stopped there for some OTC purchases. When I went to the register Lana was working. From the look on her face, Lana was not having a very good day. She was helping an elderly lady that had tried to self check out using some coupons and some sort of welfare card. It was a disaster and the self check machine was jammed. Lana was very rude to the poor old woman. Behind her was a lady and then myself in line. After standing there for some time (no other CVS employee in sight) I ask Lana if she could call for some help. She barked that there was no one else and it was just going to be a while! I finally got checked out and at least one price was marked wrong so I walked out after being in line 15 minutes.
An aside: I drove straight to a Walgreen. They had 3 checkers, all smiling and welcoming. I got what I needed and was out of the store in 3-4 minutes.
I INTEND TO SWITHCH MY RX TO WALGREENS WHERE CUSTOMERS ARE APPRECIATED.By Lloyd Buchanan (10 months ago)Pitiful service, but from looking at the reviews I’m not the only one who thinks that.I went yesterday for a COVID test, they couldn’t do the test because of an error in their system. Fine, weird but fine. I come back today and they tell me they’re closed for lunch a few minutes early and refuse to perform it. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!

That’s it for our list of the best CVS in Springfield MO! If you have any arguments or additional information, please leave a comment. We love to hear from our readers too!
This weekend, I scheduled my appointment to get a flu shot at 9:30 this morning, at this location near Missouri State University, on CVS’s website. (I graduated from Missouri State University last December, you see, and I still go there sometimes to do something with their Internet.)
This morning, I arrived here to check in around 9:20, and the employee to whom I had checked in gave me a flu shot within only five minutes. That was fast and quite convenient! Not only that, BUT literally right after he gave me the shot, he told me that I was free to go. What a quick trip for me!
Don’t come here. I had my prescription called in on Tuesday and I called the pharmacy 3 times and the automated message said it would be ready at 6:55pm on Wednesday. I literally came in at 6:59 and the pharmacy was already closed and they said “my computer is already off.” I was literally almost in tears because I couldn’t get my medicine and they said “the pharmacy is closed. It’s 7:01.” I drove 20 minutes both ways to get my prescription and was 4 minutes late because I stopped for gas and they were horrible and unprofessional. Then I called the next day to make sure my prescription was ready and the pharmacy manager said it wasn’t ready and couldn’t give me any information about when it would be. Instead of trying to help he made excuses for himself and the automated system and was rude and equally as horrible and unprofessional as the day before. Don’t come here.
This was the worst experience I have had at any CVS. I went in to get snacks, and I saw that they were on sale. I grabbed 6 boxes and went to the self check out. When I got there, the employee grabbed a box out of my hands and another box fell. She motioned to the tray next to the self checkout and said, “you should just put them right here so you don’t drop them.” 1. It’s SELF check out so why are you grabbing things out of my hands? 2. She was the one that took them from me in the first place. She rang up all of the boxes. After she was done, I saw that the sales were not applied. I asked her, “I thought these boxes were on sale?” to which she replied “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” At that point I was so upset by her rudeness that I just paid and left. I usually appreciate this CVS as it is convenient and very close to campus, but I will be walking farther to Walgreens from now on.
Do not shop here, especially not at the pharmacy! The normal workers are unattentive, and the pharmacy techs are downright rude. I just had a covid booster that was scheduled at the exact same time as someone else and the tech was very rude because I wasn’t wearing a face mask. Also, they would not fill my husband’s prescription even after he said he would pay out of pocket! We are currently looking into the legality of this.
Pharmacy worker was very rude on the phone. I’d recommend going to a different cvs if you have the option to.
