Costumer service is terrible. The staff are snappy and rude. They act like they are doing you a favor. If I could give 0 star I would. Go somewhere else. They do not like to help you save money on your prescription at all. Is always a 30 minutes wait or more. When you have babies sick , kids in the car it makes hard . Then after you wait you come back they will tell you to wait 15 more minutes. They are pretty special. The worse costumer service ever.By Giovana H (2 months ago)One of my favorite places to shop! First they left me standing there for 10 minutes before asking if they could help. Once they had my information the lady said she would look to make sure they could fill it. She returns with what would be my prescription in hand. Then tells me that it will be 3 hours before they could fill my prescription. Its not like they had to count pills or any other busy work. This prescription comes prepackaged all she had to do was put a prescription lable, take my money and hand it to me. Instead I’m told it would be ready in 3 hours. Really 3 hours if I had not needed it I would have told them to forget it. I will either find a pharmacy that carries my prescription or have doctor prescribe a different brand.By Dan Stubert (11 months ago)I checked out at first with no problems other than thinking it was a lot of money for the one small bag I purchased. When I got to my car I realized their already double the price of elsewhere cough medicine was charged twice. I go back in and the cashier says “oh, it did that the other day too, but I didn’t catch it until after the customer left”. It was no surprise to her that I was charged twice for one item. I was then given a Walgreens gift card with the amount of one cough medicine on it which was my only option even with a “leadership member” helping. They never mentioned until later that you can not use it to buy tobacco, alcohol, or dairy products. I decided to let my kids grab snacks and I’d grab some stuff I didn’t really need, but since I live over an hour away I didn’t want to have to remember the gift card. They then informed me I couldn’t use the gift card to pay for a few of my items. As this was my 3rd time through the line I asked if there was any way to get my money back because at this point I just wanted to leave and have my almost $20 back out of the over $100 that I spent. The pharmacy tech was visiting with friends and a customer had to wait for her to quit talking bad place to get meds.By Herbert Nauer (a month ago)Took my children in for pediatric covid shots—wonderful staff who was efficient and the techs were excellent at their jobs. Looking at reviews about why people do not like this pharmacy—they were obviously written by people who do not understand exactly how much work flow a pharmacist and their techs have during the day. Pharmacy is not Mcdonalds. Pharmacists need time to effectively fill prescriptions, and they do not deserve (and it is quite literally dangerous) to be forced to stay after the pharmacy hours when they are burned out because you didn’t make it to the pharmacy on time. I love Usave Pharmacy and all the staff. Always kind, always helpful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I typically have a pretty decent experience with this pharmacy. However today was way different. In particular, there is a pharmacist named Barb (refused to give last name which is okay, I just wanted to document who it was I spoke to). I have a controlled substance that I’ve had no problem filling except when it comes to insurance issues.
I called the script in early as I was told to do so (5 business days). The automated system said I could pick it up today. Showed up and was told by the pharm tech that I couldn’t pick it up until the next day. I have a few days of the script left but I “dared” to inquire as to what the issue was. I’ve had this hiccup before when it comes to picking up my script due to insurance technicalities & it is typically very easily resolved. Hence my inquiry.
After asking a couple questions for clarification, I was totally okay with picking it up the next next day. About an hour later I get a phone call from my new “buddy” Barb the pharmacist. Apparently she called my primary physicians office & I am no longer able to pick it up tomorrow. I have to wait until the day that I am completely out (30 day supply).
Even the physicians office nurse noted I had no history of trying to abuse or call scripts in excessively early.
Called the pharmacy back to have a cordial conversation. No such thing happened. Guess I ticked off the wrong person in power! Thanks Barb!
Friendly and fast, until they actually have to work. I have used them for the last 4 years. I will not be back, and I will tell everyone about their criminal ways.
You might want to check around on prices (even with insurance) because they intentionally increase prices to make more profit (like they aren’t making enough)
It makes me wonder how many elderly people are getting ripped off, with a smile from USAVE. They probably have no idea. Beware of these SCAMMING low life’s.
I literally was on a 3 way call with my insurance, and the RX insurance Manger, because my medication I have been on for years Suddenly was 80 dollars. No explanation. I asked why they said it is what it is. I said there’s been a mistake, I have insurance it shouldn’t be that high.
My insurance even called them while I was on hold and told them they are overcharging. So after they called my insurance reps had me go up and ask, NOPE, 80 bucks still.
Then one of the cashiers chimed in “there’s a shortage on that medication thats why it is expensive” I just kept my cool, and walked out because I was angry.
Called My doctor, had them call the prescription in to walgreens. And I picked it up for 18 dollars. Same medication AND brand. These people are crooks. STAY AWAY.
Horrible experience. I had a discount pharmacy card and I checked ahead of time that U Save was on the list but when I went into the store they wouldn’t even run the card just said they wouldn’t take it. I then called the discount card company and they said they are on the list and should have tried to run the card. So I paid double what I should of. I could have got it so much cheaper going to Walgreen’s. Lesson learned changing pharmacies.
