Total embarrassment. I wanted a change in quantity of supply of my prescription. I was told to wait for 15 minutes….. It’s 26 minutes and still nothing…. The lady says they are still working, even though there is only one person in line…
Update:
Don’t know if someone took notice of this review. But second time the service time improved real good for similar situation. I got the changed prescription in just 5 minutes.Keep up the good work guys.
By Muhammad Tahir (5 months ago)I checked in for my 6pm flu shot at 5:55pm and was told to go sit by the vaccination area and someone would call my name. I’m the only one here for a shot, no line. 30 minutes later and nobody calls my name. I go back to the check in desk just to find out the girl who “helped” me never told anyone I checked in. Cool. Pharmacist finally comes to give me the shot, doesn’t say anything. Nobody ever apologized. I’ll never come to this location again.By Abby Dreyer (3 months ago)I absolutely love this pharmacy. It is wonderful to have a 24 hour pharmacy in the area that can actually fill your prescriptions in a very efficient and quick period of time. The staff and pharmacist are very kind also. I definitely recommend this CVS pharmacy!By Jill (2 months ago)This pharmacy is falling apart fast. I don’t think they start working on your prescription until you drive through once. They tell you 45 min. And hour later you’re told it’ll be another hour. Everything is done at 5pm and the line is an hour long. I do have some idea when these prescriptions are called in. You wait for a text in a reasonable amount of time, and it doesn’t come. 2 months ago you would get a text. Quickly. Not anymore. Maybe every pharmacy is this messed up right now? Idk, but this one is not running too smoothBy Jon Crouch (2 months ago)Rude people on the phone for the pharmacy. Also, stop shutting down the entire pharmacy for half an hour in the afternoon. Very stupid policy. There is no reason all pharmacists need to take lunch at the same time. It’s called working retail. I’ve done it before too.By H G (5 months ago)

I made an appointment online around 5pm for a flu shot and a Covid booster shot. All the emails that I received confirmed my appointment at 7 PM I filled out all the necessary forms. I knew I couldn’t just walk in without an appointment so I made it online like I was supposed to. When I got to the location at 640pm the pharmacy cashier ask what I was there for and I told him. He then told me they couldn’t open another booster vail because it would be wasted. I just don’t understand how you can make the appointment just to be told to come back tomorrow…. I was made to feel bad because if they opened the booster vail then 5 people wouldn’t be able to get it… really! So it my fault that I did what I was supposed to. COVID has really made people be so not caring. Almost every time I go to a CVS it’s something wrong. They even closed, they out of stock, understaffed… just a mess…The CVS store manager was nice … all she could do is give me a 1800 number… knowing thats not gonna help anything!! People just need to start caring and update your systems so that you can inform the customers that you CANT open a the medicine you need because it would be wasted….By Jenny Wesley (5 months ago)I want to take a quick opportunity to let CVS know that the ongoing focus on labor productivity and shareholder profit is securely established at the North Kansas City, Missouri (#8543) pharmacy location. I arrived at the pharmacy at closing time on Sunday, December 18 to pick up one prescription that was ready. As I approached the pharmacy, a young woman greeted me by saying, “We’re closed.” I asked even if it was to just pick up one pre-paid prescription. She replied by stating the register had already been shut down earlier. Her co-worker promptly lowered the gate in front of me. I took a photo of the closed gate, time-stamped at 6:00 P.M. sharp…not 6:01, as that extra minute would not have supported the practice of efficiency and profit.
At no time was there any risk that I would have confused CVS with a company that had a genuine culture of caring for people. The indifference and lack of simple politeness are effective tools to achieve CVS’s efficiency goals in North Kansas City. They are on it!
By Rich Forbes (2 months ago)Called for assistance because the CVS app NEVER works (tried 8 times today) and the pharmacist on duty today was so rude “can’t help you” was her response. Nice to know they’re just there for a paycheck -not to actually help sick people. I will NEVER go to this CVS pharmacy again. Hateful individuals.By Taylor Williams (a month ago)My experience saddened and angered me. 10pm sunday aug 21. manager hard to find, had to be paged to release anti theft device for some eyelashes. We were able to make purchase thanks to the register clerk who worked hard to help us.By Kathy hughes (6 months ago)Been going here for years for the same RX. Pharmacist (new? never seen her) rejected my script (on 12/13) claiming that she called my doctor and that she rejected it. I went back through the drive through and asked her to clarify exactly who denied and she said it was the nurse for my doctor. Called my doctor and her nurse assured me that was most certainly not the case, but that the Pharmacist rejected it because of the paper type it was printed on (same for years). Okay, but why lie? Lost my business.By james schaefer (a year ago)

Pharmacy was rude not only to me but to the discount pharmacy Single care. I must say that there was one pharmacy tech that was very nice and she gave me resources on how to get my prescription cheaper. Mind you this was on 11/04 morning shift who over charged me for my medication the discounted pharmacy called and the CVS pharmacy was very rude and they hung up on them. They stated that my prescription will be in on Monday 11/14 this was the reason why my prescription was so much CVS GAVE ME THE NOT DISCOUNTED PRESCRIPTION as I advised them the information no one listened. Now come Wednesday the later shift everyone there was very nice etc however had the same issue as that they didn’t give me the discounted price for my prescription. I just paid for it I didn’t want the other shift to go through unnecessary things due to there morning stuff didn’t document my account. I will never use this CVS pharmacy again.
I was incredibly disappointed with this location. I had called earlier in the day, got my Dr to call in the prescription because the woman on the phone said your medication is low on stock so if they call it in now I’ll be able to fill it. Couple hours later I call to make sure everything went smoothly. The woman said yes, it’s been filled and it is ready for you. I drive out there only for them to tell me that due to low stock they are out of my prescription. I feel that if it was filled….it should not have been given away. And if there was a time Frame on how many hours they were going to hold it that should have been communicated with me…I’m already sick and this just added stress I didn’t need. Luckily I got my needed medication elsewhere.
I have never seen a more rude pharmacist! My prescription has low stock everywhere and I called around for 2 days to find out this location had it in stock. I call and have it transferred to this pharmacy. I call the next day and they first tell me they do not have the qty I am prescribed. I call my dr office and they said to have them fill the qty they do have. I call back and am told it wasn’t the qty but my insurance and I tell them I am paying out of pocket and that insurance is not valid any longer. I am then told they will have it ready by 1130. I drive 40 min to be told by the pharmacist she will not fill it bc I got it filled 2x last month at Walgreens. Also, not true because Walgreens was out and I had to go to Kroger. I left and called Walgreens and they said no, we didn’t fill it once. I called the pharmacy back and asked her to call and she refused. I asked what I can do to clear things up because I am at a loss. She continues to talk over me. I called my dr and they called and was told no Walgreens didn’t fill it twice but I was notorious for filling early…when I filled late the month prior because my original pharmacy was out. At the end of the day I will NEVER deal with this pharmacy again and I was made out to be some junkie. I was humiliated and am still delayed getting my prescription because of time wasted. I will be filing a formal complaint against this pharmacist because she was absolutely lying about everything and kept changing her story aboht why she couldn’t help me.
Everyone at the pharmacy is always extremely helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and courteous. They get me the absolute best deal on my medications without even having to ask them for help. My medication is always done in a timely manner. I won’t go anywhere else.
This CVS is the worst! I was told to come into the store to buy a Covid test because they only sell a $26 one in the drive thru. A cashier inside walked me back to the pharmacy where the Covid tests were located. I told her what they told me in the drive thru and that it was a joke. Fun fact – I tested positive for Covid. I have been there twice to try to pick up a prescription I have been on since last summer. Aaron (pharmacist) told me they have reached out to the doctors office for instructions but they won’t call them. They send it out electronically daily. Right. I said so this has been sent every day since November? That’s how long I have been waiting for something they already have instructions on. He said yes and that I should call my doctor again. I asked for the district manager and was told to call 1800cvs. On hold for ten minutes to tell a customer service representative about the experience. Avoid this place and get your prescription filled somewhere else.
