Came in for my “scheduled” 12:40 appointment at 12:30. Could not check in for appointment because 2 elderly women were having difficulties setting up appointments. Finally checked in at 12:52. Sat down in waiting area and 2 other people that checked in after I did were seen before me. I assistant Finally comes to me and ask what I needed. Told her that I am going out of country and need a flu shot, Hepatitis A, Malaria Prophylaxis, and Typhoid vaccine. Told her that it was second CVS I have visited because 1st could not do vaccines due to fridges being out. At 1:15 I finally get sitted down, Dr ask me same question what do I need. Tell her same thing. She proceeds to have me do a full travel screen, which she gets on CDC site and ask me which vaccines I require which I already told them twice. She then questions me on why I need them or how do I know I need them even though they are listed on the CDCs website! The nurse assistant already had all the vaccines I needed layed out but the Dr was completely rude and not helpful! She went down the list on the CDV site and questioned me if i actually needed the recommended vaccines! If it is on the CDC site as a recommended vaccine to travel to my location then why question me! After going back and forth I finally just got up and left! The assistant had the vaccines layed out but the Dr was rude and unwilling to do her job and administer the vaccines. She kept trying to get me to take a Covid booster which I do not want nor need. During my appointment she even turned a mother and her kids away from getting vaccines because they were 10 minutes late to appointment, they even joked about lying to them telling them they needed to be over the age of 12. I wasted an hour and twenty minutes at this CVS! I will NEVER return to this location! A great location with a cool clinic area. However the store is old. Only reason for making the review was how the bathrooms were subpar. First someone else did not flush before me, and two the sink was ready to fall off the wall and it was hidden behind the fridges. However staff is great but this store is in need of some renovating.
The staff is amazing and the deals can’t be beat. They always have something I need on sale or buy one get the other half off. They have sent me 40% to 30% coupons every month on one item and in this economy that really comes in handy. Great store! I’m in there every week. lol Get that carepass it’s only 5 bucks a month but in return you get 2% off CVS brand and $10 bucks to spend on anything in the store. Best thing going! Get it, and save a lot of money. I saved over 500 dollars already. Thanks CVS!!!
Went in today to make Thank you cards for my daughter who just graduated from UNCG. Made the cards, pulled up my coupon online, went to the register and a very unprofessional, young, arrogant clerk didn’t know anything about customer service. I asked her if I could use my coupon, she clearly wasn’t sure, but told me no. I asked her to get the manager, I was then told by her that I would have to step aside and wait until she helps others in line if she would have to get the manager, I told her no I’m not waiting, I’m in line and I’d like to speak to the manager …she walks off and asks the next person in line how she could help him, then here cones the manager and he literally wasn’t any better than the clerk. He was rude and refused to take my coupon and stated he would rather throw the already made cards in the trash than give me the opportunity to use a store coupon online. I left. Poor poor poor customer service and I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone. They aren’t professional and and have no compassion. I will continue to shop elsewhere and not ever again at this store. If I could give a zero rating, I would.
I prefer CVS over other ones pharmacy stores but the customer service is really bad lately. Not to mention long lines with associates not caring about the customer’s experience or time.
