Horrible customer service and do not follow through. I called the pharmacy almost a week ago to transfer prescriptions. Never got a call or text to see if they are ready, go to check on the status and there are no prescriptions in the system. Why tell someone it will be done in 24-48 hours if you are not going to do it at all? And also i have updated my info so i can be properly contacted and the info still has not been updated. Employees do not care and do not ask questions on how to fix it. On this day, I’d made an appointment with Walgreens to get both the Covid Booster and flu shot. When I arrived at Walgreens, they could not find my appointment and therefore refused to serve me. They acted like I was less than truthful about making an appointment using their app which is woefully inadequate!! I left and immediately went to CVS. All I heard is yes we can!! I was in disbelief!! Couldn’t believe how willing they were to help me and gave me both vaccines with no problem and quite promptly I might add. Truly Capitalism has advanced to not care as to what gender you identify with a Transgender employee delivering excellent customer service and professional work ethic. I see this as a win for society and thank goodness because I was tired of all the golly-gosh darn marches and rallies. Your arms get really tired, waving signs crafted the night before, but I digress.I didn’t have to wait long as there are two self-checkout lines to justify only one employee at the checkout as it’s a huge store that probably requires the whole team to manage inventory.
Super stoked with how clean the place was, and the Pharmacy in the back was super quick to fill my friend’s items; I hardly had time to browse the store from their speed (good for my wallet anyway).
Unsure who is managing this place, but if it’s either the workers or management or both, they’re doing it right. Good job.

I literally sat in the pharmacy pickup for 30 mins waiting for ONE customer to get their order. When i was finally able to pull up, it was 8:07p, the pharmacy shut its Windows. Nothing else. Just locked up because “they close at 8p” ok and I was waiting in their line since 7:37p! I was there before they closed, with plenty of time, but pulled up to a locked window!
Not actual CVS but the pharmacy, bad attitudes especially the pharmacist. I was told he was new. Back when I was diagnosed with cancer, having surgeries and treatment, he was deciding on weather or not to fill my meds. It’s a large amount but it was a script from pain management. He said I will fill them this one time only Which seemed entirely wrong for him to do that, he wasn’t the Dr.
He was judging me.
On top of it they kept pushing my order out so I couldn’t pick it up. I called the manager because I thought the pharmacy was not being fair and wanted to argue with me. CVS manager was nice so after that I dropped it. I did not continue to higher ups, I simply just stopped going there.
All my fault going there, because I was at Frys. Frys, great pharmacy just long lines during fall and winter months. When you don’t feel good and the drive thru is closed, it’s tough.
I will stick it out there for sure. Their kindness to sick people is definitely worth it
There’s always a line between 4 and 7 people waiting to pickup your medicine. They’re never more than one cashier. The drive thru is always busy. And I haven’t been through one, that I wasn’t told that I needed to come inside. Only to wait another hour in line. They need more cashier’s now more than ever, with all the snowbirds that are here now .And the prices for prescriptions are so much higher than that of Walmart. I used my medicare drug plan at CVS and paid $ 150.00 out of pocket even after my insurance, Good RX was deducted. Walmart I only had to pay $7.50 So who’s cheating who. CVS says the insurance companies or the drugs somehow went up and or the drug formula were changed. Funny they only change the drug formulas at the first of every year. Not in November.
I went there with an appt to get a flu shot. I arrived 15 min early and waited in the correct line for 5 min. If it wasn’t for another patient, I would still be waiting. When someone finally waited on me, they could not find my appt. then, after them searching for 5 min, they told me that it would be $50. I made the appt because the information online said I could get a free flu shot. I wasted my time. I will not be giving any part of CVS my business ever again. Walgreens will be my go for any pharmacy or convenience items!
I have always got professional service from the staff. When I walk in the staff is welcoming. The staff in the pharmacy has been so helpful to myself and my husband. They work hard to make sure you get good prices.
