My experience at Black Hills Urgent Care was very positive. The staff was friendly in the lobby was spacious and welcoming. There was no fumbling with a clipboard. The receptionist entered my information upon arrival and I was seen almost immediately. The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable and I was out of there and on my way to get my prescription way sooner than I ever expected. The customer service was wonderful! The waiting area was clean and comfortable.The nurse was friendly and attentive to my concerns. I think I only waited 2 minutes for the PA to arrive at the exam room. He was thorough and I felt like he was really listening to me about my concern. The lab tech was great. He really put me at ease with conversation and explaining what he was doing. The visit was not rushed. I was really feeling lousy that day and the team really made the entire experience a pleasant one. I normally go to the one on Jackson Blvd, but because this one is open later I decided to go here last night, and I am not sorry. Everyone was so polite, patient, and extremely helpful and I didn’t feel like they were trying to rush me through quickly. The Dr and nurse were very thorough and kind. The place was immaculate also. We had a great experience at Monument Health. We are 7 hours from home and unfamiliar with the healthcare system. The entire staff was so friendly. When I called in I was able to speak with a competent employee, rather than a messaging system. Once we arrived, the check-in process was organized and quick. We waited less than 10 minutes before being called back. The LPN, PA, and X-ray tech were friendly, competent, and speedy. It took less than 2 hours from start to finish. We are thankful for the care we received while we were on vacation.
A very nice clinic with quick turnaround. The staff are very professional and proactive. I was impressed with the level of experience and ability to get all your information. I have always said, ask questions and be prepared when you go in. Be responsive so they can make an accurate decision. I really like the clinic and glad I picked this one since I am an out of towner. And the do take Medicare and tricare for those of you asking.
My little family found ourselves in need of medical help for my little one while visiting the city/state. We are very thankful for everyone who helped us while we were at this urgent care. From the front desk staff, to the nurse and practitioner, we were very well taken care of, and given a great plan of action to get my little one feeling better. We appreciate the care and compassion shown to us, especially being 9 hours away from home.
Absolutely the quickest and the best care I could have ever wished for! I was so worried that I’d be here for most of the night because I’m so tired and I got in right away and I got out right away and they did everything to help me. It is so good to know that there’s places like this! Best doctors best customer service!
They’ve always been good to me at this location but I have to praise them for the compassion and bedside manner when they treated my 2 year old when she needed stitches. With an Urgent Care you never know if you’ll get a doctor with kid-centric bedside manner and they were SO GOOD. Both the one who put the stitches in and the one that took them out later that week got down to her level and talked to her and were so kind and gentle. I was so grateful.
