Doctor I had was awesome she tested and treated me well, I love this place I never take me nor my children anywhere else. They are so good to you here, never treated rudely, badly, or like a bother with all the staff. Their wonderfully nice and I’ve been here a lot for myself and kids. I usually have two choices, Med Express and a nameless. The former always gets my workers in-and-out same day, whenever we need them. The staff is hard working and polite. Thankfully she went to the Er and they gave confirmation everything was just fine! When you are miserable with covid you want to be seen and sent home to be miserable not sit in your car in a parking lot. I understand they have to sterilize the isolation rooms with a machine for 40 minutes between each patient. But wouldn’t it make since to go out to car test from there and not have to sterilize a room and infect a bunch of other people as you walk by them? Now once inside triage room and on . Its caring wonderful nurses, drs, and staff they are efficient doing their job. Couldn’t ask for a better staff. So i gave it 3 stars from my 5 stars i usually get because of time being miserable.By sherry camp (7 months ago)We had a great experience! The person I spoke to on the phone and when we came in was absolutely amazing. Her name was Crishion(not sure on the spelling). This was at the southside Parkersburg WV location!

I have been treated at Med Express 3 times over 2 yeara – each time with amazing results. After each visit, I felt remarkably better in 24 hours or less. I do not hesitate to seek treatment at Med Express when I need to feel better. I was able to get x-rays on-site, an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan, and effective prescriptions all in less than an hour. Brought my son in for an urgent, yet non-emergency situation right before their closing time on the weekend night. From first appearance, the facility is very clean and modern. The friendly staff at the reception desk greeted and registered us right away. We were called back about 5 minutes later to triage where the nurses were friendly and showed concern. We were then brought to our room which was clean and what you’d expect from a health care facility. The doctor arrived 5 minutes later, extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She performed a thorough exam, ran labs, asked many questions, and explained in detail my child’s ailment. She performed some lab work to confirm the Dx, and prescribed appropriate medication to cure the illness.
As a mom and registered MA, the whole experience was better than what I would expect from an urgent care facility. Gave me a script and I’m already feeling better. My only issue was the less then helpful desk clerk who assisted us with our sign in. I feel, as a retired nurse, this young lady has no business working with the public in a medical setting. When a patient tells you they can’t breathe and would like to see a doctor, you don’t diagnose them yourself..at the window. Gathering information is what I believe her job is. My insurance card, credit card, and my ID, and a brief explanation is what she gets. Not asking questions like a NP, and then getting ANNOYED because the patient can’t keep talking to her because the patient COULDN’T BREATHE! My brother went to the ER on 11-14-2022 and was admitted later. The staff were all very professional and all his tests were done in short order except the Covid test that we were told takes an hour to process. Perhaps it should have been done much sooner as I feel this made our ER wait time even longer.
I would like to mention one of the night shift security guards, Jay, as he was attentive, brought us water and checked in on us frequently.
I was at the ER on 11-22-22 and I can’t say enough about the amazing care I received and how wonderful my nurses (and the EMT in training for her Paramedic License) were! Dr Ferrebee was absolutely fantastic and even though I got some scary news they made my entire experience so full of compassion and so very thorough with expertise care. Thank you for caring!
Don’t trust them to bill you adequate. They change codes on a diagnosis however they want. Also had a routine test done another time and sent pathology out of network. When you call them they just want to tell you how much you can pay monthly. No resolving anything because that would require them doing paperwork
They did not tell us where my mother was after her heart surgery/recovery for over four hours. That information was wrong. A wild goose chase.That floor nurse station did find the correct information for us. Clear back on the other side of he hospital. From 8am to 6pm my dad and I were kept in the dark!
My wife was in labor and forcing her to have a vaginal birth over a cesarean section even tho she has panic attacks about it and wouldn’t even give her pain meds in my experience worst hospital on the earth do not recommend no one goes there. I wouldn’t take my dying pet there because of there actions and this place has the worst so called professional team of doctors and nurses they really struck a nerve with this one I thought they were supposed to make u feel comfortable and no pain but I guess that’s why there the worst hospital for baby deliverys around I don’t think that me or my family will ever use this joke of a hospital ever again
