Was a walk-in about 11am. Had to have a physical and blood test for work. Everything went smoothly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Took about an hour-ish total, which was exactly what the woman at the front desk had told me. When I left the waiting room was pretty full. It seemed to be a busy day but each of the staff members that I spoke with or had observed was smiling, polite and helpful! I was assigned to go for a Fitness Test for work. The front desk staff was courteous and also accurate with the time estimate they gave me (wait time). The doctor and physical therapist who assisted me were also very courteous.
Also my results were communicated to my employer promptly, which I appreciated. Really good experience, my recommendation would just be if you don’t have an appointment, try to go early to beat the line.
Everyone was super kind. There was a line forming before opening time and even though it was super busy, every staff member was calm and kind. Pretty rare nowadays. Very pleasant experience getting work-related issues completed. It was a bit of a wait but they do calls if you stay within 5 minutes of the care center. Thanks for the good experience!
The check in was fast and painless. The ladies working behind the counter were friendly and very efficient. I went there without appointment and was in and out within 15 minutes! I let the ladies administering my drug test know how impressed I was with there speediness. Well Done!
No one’s going to an Urgent Care / blood draw / drug testing facility for the fun of it, but my experience was good.
I had an appointment at 3:30 and arrived at 3:10. Things seemed backed-up and busy already. The two ladies at the check-in were very pleasant even though they were charged with directing traffic of those who had appointments and several walk-ins.
A patient’s phone was running out of battery before he could complete an online form and he was told he could stand at the check in to charge his phone and when he went in, he was told he could leave his phone there to charge while he was being seen. The nice lady (sorry, I’m terrible with names) even made sure he didn’t forget his phone when he was done with his appointment and left.
Even though I had a 3:30 appointment, I wasn’t seen until about 4:05. I wasn’t happy about it, but it’s clear this is a high-traffic facility and there are only so many rooms and doctors / nurses. The staff was always pleasant to everyone and did their best to keep everything moving as quickly as possible so everyone could be seen.
When I left, they even thanked me for being so patient. These are really genuinely nice people who are in a difficult role and make the best of it for everyone who needs to have urgent care, get blood draws, or drug tests.
It was a very clean and friendly environment. The staff were nice. The negatives- I’ve had many cdl physicals before, none in which I had to get a shot or take all of my clothes off and change into some patient type shorts for a medical card. It must be a Wisconsin thing, because I’ve never had to do those 2 things in Louisiana. You learn something new every day I guess.
