Nothing like waiting hours to be rushed out of the office on a moments notice. Past two times I have gone I’ve waited well over an hour both times just to have the doc come in, brush it off as a sinus infection, and keep on going. This “sinus infection” has progressively gotten worse over the past two weeks, but when I tell them that they just shrug and say “it’s our best advice, we can’t truly prove it, etc.” I used to think highly of this office, but it would be a last resort nowBy Lynchburg PB (3 months ago)I rarely leave a bad review, especially for medical centers because I have family who work in the medical field. But man this was one of the roughest experiences ive had and Ill do my best to explain what happened.
About a month ago I had flu symptoms and I called ahead to check if they took my insurance just to make sure I wouldn’t get a massive bill later down the road. They assured me that they did and that I would be covered but of course a month later I get a bill thats just ridiculous. I saw a “doctor” who I find out later is an NP, NOT A DOCTOR and the visit to see the NP alone 170 dollars. LOL. The NP told me he was a doctor when he was in the room so I guess not only do the staff at this place lie but the so called “doctors” do too.
I called to get help with an online payment and no one on staff, even the billing department knew how to help me so I ended up calling customer service at Privia to get it sorted out.
Id steer clear of this place and just save your time and money by going somewhere else.

How could it have been cleaned if she was still in there? How many other rooms do they not clean? They pled ignorance. She finally had to leave the room and find someone to help her. This place is the worst clinic in all of Lynchburg.“If I were dying and had to go somewhere, I’d sooner die than come here again.”

I was one of the first ones there when they opened, so the wait time was pretty short for me. The nurse was thorough and understanding. The physician was quick as I did not need extensive consultation. He was caring and also thorough. I just wanting to check on what I thought was a stomach bug and it was. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t anything serious. This was my first time in this office and I have recently moved to this side of town within the last year. Anyways, Chris the PA was great and spent a lot of time with me. The nurse was also very thorough and nice. Didn’t feel rushed even though they were slammed. Felt more like going to a really good primary care dr and not an urgent care.
By Lauren (a month ago)Front desk workers were actively rude and nasty to patients. One openly laughed at me, and the one I was talking to rolled her eyes and treated me like I was stupid. I had explained that I was not sick, didn’t have worsening symptoms, but that I was looking for a referral for a lifelong issue I believe I’d found a route of easing. She had asked me how long I had symptoms, although I had already explained, and when I repeated it had been a chronic lifelong issue, the worker that was not helping me laughed very loudly, saying “Do you want me to take this one?” And the other lady dramatically rolled her eyes and put her head in her hands and said “I’ve got it unfortunately.” Some of the most disrespectful service I have ever received. The doctor and nurse were as nice and as helpful as could be, but this has become a last resort medical center. The front desk workers shouldn’t be anywhere near working a service job with how rude and disrespectful they were.By Reese Rice (in the last week)took my daughter in for an infection on tuesday morning. was treated and told to come back the next morning for fallow up and to take packing out.
wife went back the next morning, she was told that they couldn’t see her until 5 that afternoon and that they don’t make next day appointments.
had to go to a different doctor today. wife wasted a lot of time this morning driving around with a sick kid.
very disapointed in the communication from the doctor and staff.If they would have told me to make an appointment early this morning we would have, but i was certainly told to “just come back in the morning and we will check it out”

As of Friday January 21st 2022, if you need a covid test – you will need to call 1st thing in the morning starting at 8am until you get through to them. I made an appointment for the same day! Which was very convenient and the staff was Accommodating for my needs. I was sick, and the staff was understanding and patience with me. Thank you Med express!
There was a long 2 hr. wait in the car, but the location was nice because I could wait in the Burger King next door.
The reception staff was very friendly.
The doctor was very kind and empathetic but didn’t spend much time asking questions and didn’t perform a physical exam at all. Seemed to be in a hurry, but I appreciated him and the medication prescription in a pinch when all other places were closed and Centra Urgent care in Forest told me to go find another place when I walked in.
Overall very good experience here!
Walk-in clinic, had to wait over 2 hours for emergency antibiotics, despite being urgent care, tried to charge for a previous visit that they billed the wrong insurance for. Rude snowflake staff. Crowded and dirty. Recommend anywhere else. One star because I can’t give less! Worst clinic I have ever been to, and I grew up near Chicago.
I had a great experience. Staff were all helpful and friendly, facility was clean. Yes, I waited about two hours, which I feel is to be expected when you’re going somewhere without an appointment. The staff were clearly moving as quickly as they could, trying to ensure patients were seen as quickly as possible.
Went in this evening to have my sons foot looked at, arrived at 4:40, they said they had a slot at 5 available, and that it would be an hour wait past that. Their X-ray tech was out , but they still gave my son a shoe for his hurt foot and told me to bring him back the next day at 9am and they would X-ray and waive another office visit fee. Allison at the front desk was super sweet and told me to come to her window when we came in and she would make sure we got taken care of! All the staff I encountered were very kind!
