Family member been waiting for hours in the ER. Doctor’s tell them it could be something bad, so need to do tests and imaging. But won’t do it until insurance is approved. So give scary possibly, cause severe anxiety, but do nothing until they know they get money first. Lives don’t come first at this facility. Same hospital didn’t take care of the issue before a year ago said they are not worried about it. Now look. Not thrilled with how they treat people. If it does turn out to be bad news, a lawyer will be in contact from the family.By Maddie Maddness (a year ago)Traveled to Kearney Regional Medical Center last evening, Saturday January 14th, from North Platte because of complications from kidney stones. First let me say the service was EXCELLENT !!!! No problems or complaints whatsoever, my concern is with check in at the front door. I walked in wearing a mask, which I have no problem with . My concern is when I walked in several people were already in the waiting area, none of which were wearing masks, so I figured I didn’t need one so I removed mine only to be told immediately MASKS ARE REQUIRED !!! So I put it back on. I again looked around the room, NO MASKS The security room behind the glass NO MASKS !!! Again let me say I have absolutely no problem complying with the mask mandate. Do not go to these people! I took my son in for being super sick and having a swollen tummy. They didn’t look at the tummy, check vitals, or even run any tests.they told me he was just a growing boy with a virus and prescribed him steriods. I took him to the ER 2 days later. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer and influenza and pneumonia. Luckily Kearney ER is full of competent staff who listened to my concerns. I had to get my daughter emergency held for her leg. The staff at this hospital are very kind. They brought my sister a blanket qnd drinks for my kids, one person even took time to look at my daughter’s chart(her age) and brought her a teddy bear . I love how clean and new everything is.
I had the best care and great doctors after my accident. They were conscience of time and accomplished everything in a timely manner. I can not say enjoy good about this hospital and it’s amazing staff.
All I have to say is this is a great, wonderful, and professional hospital! I have went 3 times to the ER and they treated us so professionally and were so polite and friendly. They listened to my concerns and explained to me the diagnosis and the treatment. If I could give them more stars I would.
Admitted to the ICU which now has pediatrics on the same floor. Hardly any sleep due to babies crying and a lady came in the middle of the night screaming and cussing. Nurses overall were nice, but definitely not a place to rest and recover.
I took my daughter to the emergecy room here, and everyone was wondeful. Friendly staff, prompt care, the doctor was very kind and thorough, and the nurse, Brian Williams, was absolutely amazing. I would recommend then to anyone.
