5 Replies to Greenville NC Urgent Care – Walk-In Urgent Care

  1. I read the reviews!! Got here early – an hour before opening & there were 3 people waiting by 7:30am. By 8:24am there’s a line to the door, on a SUNDAY. By the time I left, that line had grown out the door and onto the sidewalk. You can schedule an appointment on their website to lock in a time. Otherwise wait for an open spot. Nurse Staff are friendly. I had no issues with any of them. So it’s a give and take here. You plan ahead and be respectful to staff, it’ll be an easy visit, like mine was.

  2. My interaction with front office staff was HORRIBLE. Nasty attitudes and unhelpful. Apparently, they don’t know how to their job and properly check in patients. When coming for treatment make sure you pay attention otherwise they’ll have you sitting there for hours before properly checking you in. The lack of professionalism and customer service skills is completely disheartening. This review only reflects my interaction with the front staff. The physicians and P.A’s were wonderful and resolved my issue as their is only one person managing them which wasn’t there according to the front office. As I’m writing this review there are other patients talking about how rude these ladies are. I think FastMed need to get a whole new staff. The ones they got now are the worst.

  3. My daughter has been in and out of hospitals and doctors offices since birth. No matter where we go she always throws a screaming fit. The staff here was very understanding and got us quickly in and out, while putting her at ease as much as possible. I definitely recommend them. The wait times were long but I would go again due to the excellent treatment my 3 year old received.

  4. I’ve been here a couple times and the staff are very nice from front to back. Also , I understand the wait time and the policy. People come here thinking they are going to be seen right away and that’s not the case so they catch an attitude with the front desk. Front desk handles the situation the best they can. I don’t think it’s their fault that they have to follow the rules and get cursed at . Overall I had a good experience if you want less than an hour wait go to your primary!!!

  5. Other than the 3 hour wait, I have no complaints. The desk staff was able to locate my insurance without my card. The intake nurse was very friendly and the doctor was knowledgeable. Overall good experience considering I was sick.

My wife was in a plane crash rushed to their ER , the ER experience was great all the staff took great care of her. Then they admitted her overnight. We live in Jacksonville, I spoke with her on the phone for an update before heading out to go back she was waiting to hear said she might get discharged in the afternoon. By the time it took me to drive there she was kicked out of her room and left in a waiting area in a wheelchair she didn’t have clothes because they were cut off her, I was bringing them to her. She got sent home in a hospital gown cause there was no where she could change.

I drove 4 hours to go to a surgical consult with my Mom for colon cancer removal and was told upon arrival that either myself or my Father could not attend. The nurse said only 1 visitor per patient. I called to complain and my complaint was taken, with bo response. I called the next day, asked for the Compliance Officer and got voicemail. I stated my name, phone number and that I had a complaint and would appreciate a call back. I have still not received a response. I have witnessed firsthand, due to my work in the medical field, what happens when patient advocates are kept out of patient care. The facility did not let my Mom (the patient) know prior to the appointment that she was restricted to one visitor. The LEAST the administrative team could do is call me back. I have no use for corporate medical care.

My name is Regina Crisci. (This is my small business Google account so it says my name is customer service 🙄) I actually work at this hospital but today was the first time I had to be a patient in the emergency department. I came in with sudden, sharp yet diffuse abdominal pain. I was completely stable except for the pain so my wait time was as I expected for a busy ED on a holiday weekend. The staff was friendly, timely, and accurate with their information. The doctors were knowledgeable, listened, and had good bedside manner. The front ED staff was friendly to other people coming in as well, I’m literally watching a nurse convince a woman to stay with the best customer service.

I had access to MyChart the entire time which made waiting for results a bit easier.

    Thank you

This hospital needs to be very careful because what my family and I experienced here today on 08/09/2022 was very hellacious and iF they don’t improve you will read about this hospital being sued for their negligence which could already be a possibility. My family was in town today for a medical appointment when unexpectedly my mother endured some some issues associated with her Diabetes and low blood sugar. While being transported to this hospital she was placed in the lobby with multiple other people in reclining chairs since they didn’t have enough beds and staff to adequately treat and see patients in a timely manner. After hours of sitting in the lobby hooked up to an IV and one guy checking her blood sugar multiple times after I informed my brother to demand they evaluate her glucose and make sure they don’t leave her unattended I told my sibling to get my father because the lack of attention to detail was unbelievable and they still seemed unbothered. My mother ended up leaving and riding one hour and half later with my family to follow up with her own healthcare team home.Very little monitoring took place nobody came around to ensure she wasn’t going in and out of conscious and hours later someone came around with free snacks after my brother kept inquiring about food and glucose because of her condition. This situation or anyone else that could have serious health issues related to their glucose and other ailments shouldn’t be discarded in the lobby with the general population without proper attention. My family would still be waiting at this hospital but thank goodness her glucose was able to rise significantly with her gel glucose packs and she was able to leave With my family watching her and giving her support. While I’m thankful for the EMts the staff at this hospital need more training in professionalism and they need more competent healthcare workers that want to be employed. The wait time here was entirely too long and dangerous. While I understand short staffing and the constraints with the pandemic I’m quite sure they can find another systemic approach that is more effective and safe for members who enter this facility. Please enter At your own risk!!’

I came this morning, 10/31, due to abdominal pain. I understand that they’re busy and probably having a rough morning, but I did forget my mask. The nice ladies at check in were so kind – did not tell me I needed a mask or offer me one from the box that says “for patients.” So many different business and different rules, you’d think that they’d offer it up immediately upon check in if they require it. However, they didn’t. So I finish check in and sit down and the most rude, unkind lady, steps out from the back and singles me out about not wearing a mask that was not offered to me even when I apologized at check in for forgetting mine. If it weren’t for feeling terrible, I’d have left. I will be finding her boss to talk about a way to communicate their needs. I understand it’s a difficult time but you could have quietly offered me one instead of calling me out like that …

“You (as she points) and anyone else not wearing a mask needs to get up and come get one from the front desk now”.

You may hate your job lady, but this isn’t the job for you if you do. Please learn how to handle situations better and to talk to people with kindness and grace. I absolutely would have had one on and apologized and been kinder had you handled the situation like a kind adult instead of a demanding person filled with anger.

I visited this location on 12/23, I arrived around 7:40 and to my surprise there was already a line formed outside. I was maybe the 10th person in line, they opened door around 7:50 and everything went smoothly. The wait time was expected not extremely bad. I was there maybe 2 1/2 hours totaled. The staff that I encountered was professional and nice however one of the receptionist did have a harsh snappy tone when speaking to some patients but I’m glad I didn’t have to deal with her especially not feeling good! I was diagnosed with the Flu and so glad I was able to be seen and prescribed meds to help me start to feeling better!!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about the staff and Dr. Roberts! So kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. Despite being busy, they got to me fairly quickly. When one of the Rx didn’t transmit and I checked with the nurse, she personally called the pharmacy to confirm it and then called me back after hours to update me. They followed up 2 days after to check on me and make sure my pain had improved. The best urgent care experience I have ever had!!!

Happened to call this morning because I tested positive for Covid-19 and contacted the ED for recommendations as I was having trouble breathing and my chest was crackling when I went to breathe in. The doctor recommended I go to Urgent Care to rule out pneumonia. When I called someone by the name “BG” picked up. I was explaining my condition and asked is there anything I need to do before I come in. She laughed through the phone and said “you can’t be seen by us or anyone;” “you have to quarantine first.” Then proceeded to say “if you’re having trouble breathing it’s because you have Covid not because of something else learn the symptoms of Covid first.” If you ever need to go to Urgent Care, DO NOT GO HERE!!!! This was not the first time I’ve had a bad experience from the same lady. Unfortunately I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The first time I needed to be seen was because I had just gotten bit by an unvaccinated, 115lb Rottweiler. I went in and she asked what I needed to be seen for and once again laughed in my face and said “file for workers comp, we can’t see you.” How disrespectful and disgusting can one person be? You work in health care and you turn people away for what because you don’t think their situation is bad enough to be seen? Last time I will EVER contact them for an issue. Horrible staff! DO NOT GO HERE!!

I visited the Physicians East urgent today and everyone there was so pleasant. From the front desk to the nurses and the doctor were awesome. They have a really strong team of genuine and compassionate people working there. I would definitely recommend this office for medical care.
