Today another nurse practitioner saw me, I have never in my years of going there, been spoke to the way I have today. She was extremely rude, spoke to me like I have never been there before and had all the information incorrect. I usually always give 5 stars but this lady really dropped it to 1. I stupidly fell off a boat onto a dock and finally the water.
In the process I suffered skin tear (abrasions) in multiple places requiring careful restructuring of the skin to maximise healing and appearance. And stitches to fix a deep tear (laceration) on my hand.
We called our Doctors office and the person who took our call was zero help to advice or direction.
Long story short, we went to Fort Pierce Family Urgent Care at 3851 Virginia Ave in Ft Pierce Fl.
What a pleasant surprize!
From the moment we walked in, presented ourselves at the front desk we were treated with care, respect and professionalism.
The Abrasion prep by Ermalyn, MA was ‘whole’ ~ nothing left out of my prep.
The professionalism of Ken Guay, PA-C was ouystanding… accompanied by a pleasant and very caring, highly competent person.
The fix was accomplished by a 3 person team including the above and another (I did not get her name) but she was also very competent, caring and professional.
From check in to check out was one of the best medical office visits of my life…

Sometimes I wait longer than other times. but I do understand that it is am urgent care and some patients will take longer than others depending on the seriousness of what they are coming in for. Short wait time. The staff was wonderful. Dr. Caterina was certainly communicative, thorough. In the end, she referred me to the nearest ER for additional tests and consult, where I was promptly admitted. I don’t know nice woman’s name at the reception desk,but when we called before going to the clinic, she was very nice on the phoneand helpful, and upon arrival she thoughtful and took care of us extremely well.
This place is a nightmare. I needed a physical for my son to play basketball, I came in at 1 and I’m still here @ 5:17 my entire day was spent here. It has been so bad highly suggest that you go elsewhere. And do not take the 1 star serious I had to put it there to even leave this review. Jen was a great doctor! It wasn’t her fault.
The entire operation is a first class urgent care. I’ve been to many uc in my travels around Florida and I can easily say CareNow Ft. Pierce takes top spot. My head wound accident was handled very professionally with knowledgeable and pleasant staff. I’m very happy I found them!
I had a great experience at Care Now the staff was very courteous and very efficient. I went in for a drug screen was probably there for less than 15-20 mins between registration and actually getting the drug test done. I was in and out in no time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know.
Web check in is useless. Checked in for 11am appt. Received a call around 10:30am saying to come in. Did all the registration online beforehand. Arrived around 10:55 and sat in the lobby until 1:30pm. This place is ran like sh!t! After being called back I sat in a room for another 45 minutes. Completely unacceptable and def not returning here. They really deserve -1 stars.
