We brought our 9 week old puppy here on Saturday. She was lethargic and in really bad shape from refusing food. They took such great care of her. They gave us a whole slew of things to give her with detailed care instructions. We had a rough 24 hours of feeding her every hour and a regime of things to supplement her with. They followed up with us daily and gave us another recommendation today that was a huge success! For the first time she ate on her own today! Not only was she rude but she gave us a list of expensive medications for our dogs skin condition even though she knew our senior dog was actively dying of heart failure(she didn’t tell us about our dogs heart failure until after handing us a huge bill for the meds). Was happy to be able to get them help ASAP so they didn’t have to suffer thru the night without pain meds. Doc was upfront with the cost if she was able to save him and told us it didn’t look good. So we chose to try everything she was so so busy with other critical animals that night !! The only vet there keep us updated every 15mins and never stopped ,So for people who have such negative opinions why don’t you call your vet at night when its urgent? My mom called hers they told her they was leaving in 30mins she could drop her dog off on Monday !! Ya after 20years with the same vet that was Dr. Yurko staff how compassionate !! Took my husband in due to shortness of breath and the one nurse was absolutely rude saying don’t you know we close in 8 minutes? Are you serious?? Your “bedside manner” is atrocious ma’am and you shouldn’t be a nurse. The other nurse says “well I’m out, I got an hour drive” umm I don’t care, maybe you should have thought about that before you took the job or moved, whatever the case may be. The receptionist was very kind and approachable.
Then they say they are calling his prescriptions in to the hospital pharmacy which they never did. I waited 45 minutes at the pharmacy for it to never come through! I came in Friday 10.21 at 1300 showed the coupon for a free flu shot. Never mentioned to me about any costs. Just received a bill for $225 for treatment by NP.

They are so judgmental of your character. **Update** Gave them benifit of a doubt and went back, told there is a 3 hour wait mean while one other person in waiting room and everyone sitting behind the desk chatting and eating. I personal learned my lesson. I recommend going to a different company. Very easy registration, nurse/PA were great, Dr. Anderson was very informative. My son’s illness started to clear up almost immediately once medications were given. This place is always efficient and they care about the kids. Highly recommend.
I am not pleased with the service I received at the med express in elm grove in wheeling Wv. They were very rude with me and my child then they don’t do pre-authorizations on meds it took them two days to even try to call
Anything else in for my 3 year old daughter. The lady over the phone was very rude and disrespectful. I will not be coming back
Very rude ppl. They tell you a time but you still wait over an hour past ur time. Nurse in waiting room carrying on laughing and joking with an outside person that came in. Person told my family their appointment time and was called back before us, our appointment was 40 minutes prior to that persons. I was told it is by case…40 minutes past appointment. Guys appointment was 1015, another lady 1040, mine 10am… it’s 1145 and I’m still waiting!! Needless to say we are pulling out of lot now! Reynolds rapid care only has 45 minute wait which they’re always accurate, fast, caring, and no ignorance
In one word… Slow! They seem to lack the ability to prioritize, so you end up waiting a ridiculous amount of time just to leave the waiting room. Checking in was like being at the DMV. The nurse I saw was rude and seemed annoyed at doing her job. Not a great experience. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’ve got time to kill and enjoy being treated like a nuisance.
Waited over 1 1/2 hrs for results that weren’t even in. They should of told me it would take a day for xray results before checking us in I would of left and went to the er. The next day is here and it’s 2:35pm and still no call on results will not ever go back to this location it’s gone down hill so badly
