I have been using md now since I moved into the area about five years ago. Only for urgent care needs and in the last two years for covid testing. I know pandemic changed a lot of things. But this visit will be my last. I called y we yesterday to confirm that they still do covid antigen testing and was told that they did. Not once did they mention that the process had changed. Or that it was completely up to the doctor if they would give you the test. So now we are in a bind as we need this to travel. After paying 70 dollars to wait to see if we would even be tested, we are now here 45 minutes and we were the third in the que and they have only taken two patients back at this point. In 45 minutes? If you do your due diligence and call ahead to confirm that they can do certain test, they should accommodate. But those days are over. More important, COVID protocol is still observed in this office. Everyone in the building wore masks. The check in process was a breeze, and I was seen immediately. They were very aware and still prescribed her a medication that could have caused a lot of damage to the baby and even miscarriage. When I called back the lady on the phone said the doctor said it was an oversight. How was this an oversight when we specifically asked him if it was safe to take while being pregnant? This was an awful experience and thank goodness we asked questions at the pharmacy and looked up the prescribed medication. I was recently injured at work and was sent here for care. Care is exactly what I got! From the front desk staff (with a special mention of how fabulous Ellie is) to my intake nurses, my x-ray tech, my physician Natasha to the wonderful ladies who check me out and get me set for my next visit. The staff is wonderful, caring and very efficient.
And today I had to bring my husband in for an infection from a bite and they were so quick to take him in and treated him wonderfully as well. He even commented as we left that, “You weren’t kidding when you said how fantastic they are!”
Thank you to the entire staff! You have truly been wonderful and I/we appreciate you so much!
The Staff/Front Desk at the Concentra located in West Palm Beach Is absolutely Amazing!! On 12/8/22 I literally arrived at 4:54. 5 minutes before Closing! What impressed me was, not only did they allow me to come in, but they treated me as if I had walked in at 9am! Nobody had an attitude that I came late. They even let me borrow a charger when my phone died! I have nothing but GREAT THINGS to say about those beautiful and professional Ladies that work there As well as the Doctors!!
Overall experience was horrible. The front desk didn’t care to check people in, they were more worried about what they needed for lunch and how their eye lashes looked. It was well over an out wait for a scheduled appointment that I had and showed up early for. The doctor was very cold and didn’t introduce herself, just checked my ears for all of 30 seconds and then made me sit in a chair in a hallways then an assistant said you can leave.
I needed to go to Concentra for some test and I can truly say I looked the service I received. Emmanuella Nelson helped me and she was so kind a respectful to me. It’s very rare to find such amazing service. I will refer everyone to this location.
