  1. I took my daughter to wellnow. we arrived at 10 AM it is now 1:44 pm and my daughter is still waiting to be seen and I have sat in the car almost 4 hours absolutely ridiculous it would’ve been faster to go to the hospital at this point. For an urgent care this place is really slow I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you have hours to waste.

  2. Though I was skeptical going into WellNow mainly due to expected long wait time, I’m very pleased to say it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Once in the room, I was immediately tended to by a very personable nurse, and to my surprise the care provider entered just 10 minutes after the nurse left! The best part of my experience was how I was treated by 3 nurses and the care provider. They did everything they could to make me comfortable, made jokes and laughed at mine! All in, I spent a little over an hour but felt much shorter. I am so grateful for them!

  3. We had scheduled appointments for a non emergency visit for which we had previously called the office to confirm that they provided; they confirmed. We checked in, and then waited in our car for a long time. After waiting, for 2 hours, with a toddler, we were told by the provider that WellNow does not administer this type of service. We wasted a total of 2 1/2 hours waiting to be told something that should have stated at the time of call, or at the very least, at the time of check in. In addition, we should not have to wait at an urgent care facility for 2 hours, ignored/forgotten in a room, as we had reserved appointment times. I find this whole experience to be unprofessional, unacceptable, and downright degrading. There was no regard for our time lost sitting in an exam room, with no service rendered. I am certain that if we showed up 2 hours late to a scheduled appointment, we would be not be seen, and be charged. Please do better than this. Do not make families give up cherished time, after work, to sit, wait, and frankly be neglected. In addition, staff at this facility should know what services are provided, and which services are not provided. The receptionist was kind, and polite, as well as the intake nurse, Bonnie, who provided entertainment for our child was amazing at her job.

  4. Staff was super sweet and attentive. I loved the teledoc visit. It made it so we were in and out rather quickly. They had to do a strep test on myself and my 3 year old. Went above and beyond to make sure she had a pleasant visit. I can’t say enough about kind and caring they were. It was nice to be in a doctors office that made sure my baby was so well taken care of and made sure she had the best care possible. Her being so little it was not easy, and they did an excellent job.

  5. This option is one of the best options included with my insurance. This was my 2nd time visiting this location. This visit took longer than expected, but I do understand. The ER would’ve been much worse! I think his name is Lonny who I first seen and he’s amazing! Friendly guy and very considerate. I also seen a female nurse, I can’t remember her name but she has colored hair and she’s friendly as well. The doctor seen me via video and although it was my first time doing a video call appointment , she was kind and made me feel heard and at ease! That’s what patients deserve. Overall great visit!

Everyone took the time to really listen and treat my sons condition. They were all very understanding and thoughtful. The nurse brought him a blanket when he was chilled and gave him treats after his blood work. The practitioner took the time to explain the testing she ordered and what the results may imply. She was very patient. We did not have to wait after our arrival and the office is cleaned and decorated nicely. Bonus that there is a lab on site!

I came here because my 5 year old was running a fever of 103.5. We waited for two hours watching people come and go who had checked in after us. Well after a half hour to closing time I went and asked the receptionist what was going on and I found out his name was never added to the waiting list!I am a pretty patient and understanding person but that was completely unacceptable to say the least. The doctor and nurse however was amazing and kind so five stars to them! Our poor babes shouldn’t have to suffer and wait more than needed because of lack of organization!

There was an extremely long wait time, but with all of the sickness going around that isn’t surprising. Everyone here was very friendly and helpful. When Carrie came in to see my son, he had to get tested for strep throat and he was very scared and crying. She did an exceptional job of calming him down with me enough to be able to swab him. Thank you!!

I went in late last night to hopefully get some medication for my sore throat. The extremely friendly staff was able to get me in and out in record time, and even got my prescription to Kinney’s in time for me to get my medicine before the pharmacy closed for the night. Always happy with the QuikMed Staff.

After a day of traveling to be with family for Thanksgiving, my son started to develop an ear ache the following morning. As it seemed to be getting worse, we headed out to visit an urgent care. My mother told me about the QuikMed near the hospital so we headed there. Upon entering the office at 12:50pm, we were met with an employee indicating that they weren’t taking any more patients for the day because it was a “holiday” and they already had people in line. At this point I had a 12 year old standing next to me in significant pain. The person seemed almost excited that she got to turn us away. First, this was the the day before thanksgiving, not the holiday itself. Second, you need to decide if you are an urgent care or a normal medical office, as they play different roles in the medical arena. Third, I can see closing early before the holiday, but when you are typically open until 9pm and you won’t take a child in pain at 12:50pm, that’s unreasonable and ridiculous. Fourth, the attitudes of the employees was awful. Just a horrible attitude for a place that is supposed to be providing a critical service. There are far better urgent cares elsewhere in Watertown, as we subsequently found.

I am shocked reading all of these negative reviews. I have been coming to this urgent care for several years, and have always had a great experience. Office has always been clean, staff has always been polite and respectful. Yes most days there is a longer than I like wait time but why can’t people just be patient I will be continue to use this facility .

While I found the nurse and the PA I saw very kind, I called back to ask for something because the rx I got wasn’t helping, and even though all I did was ask for some steroids so I could try to avoid a trip to the ER, my concerns were completely dismissed by a PA who wouldn’t even talk to me or reconsider it. And the nurse, who was also very nice, told me she doesn’t think they’d reconsider because they aren’t a pain clinic.

“If she’s in as much pain as she says, she should go to the ER.”

    Yeah, thank you so much.

I will not be returning to this establishment.

Don’t bother coming here. You could get in and out of the ER faster then getting in, and Watertowns ER is known for a long wait time. They’ll tell you it might be an hour wait, but what they mean is 3-4 hours. If you ask about your status, they’ll tell you you are up next but you’ll see them call in several other patients. It’s insanely disrespectful and you can tell they are more concerned about getting money from over booking. Doctor/nurses are pleasant but it’s not worth the wait.

Terrible. My daughter is a college student, living in the area. She went in to be seen, but had misplaced her insurance card. She had a picture of it front and back, and they refused to see her because she didn’t have the plastic card to scan. She asked if she could email it and they could scan it that way, and they refused. I would never go there. Awful how they treat people who are sick, and in need.

Very, very, very slow…. I was supposed to get my prescription sent to Walgreens 30 mins ago and they are slacking… the lady tried to blame Walgreens system when I asked for the time stamp of the prescription that was sent over and clearly was sent as we spoke and Walgreens finally got in within seconds. See how that works? Go to Drum if you can make it.
