My first choice for non life threatening healthcare. Always knowelgible professionals. Easy in and out, never a long wait, whether it’s a broken foot or a case of the flu. I showed up in the evening after work – they were rushing through people. I was told to enter the wrong patient room and walked in on a mom and teenage daughter… very awkward. Then moved to the correct room. The nurse assigned to help did not take my height or weight just guessed and when I started describing any concerns he was like tell the doctor that’s not my job. I was self paying and since I was they told me not to run most of my test though I told them it was not an issue. They refused to give me my bill. A gentlemen working the front desk by the name of Phi got very verbally aggressive with me and physically stood up and made me super uncomfortable. He would not give me a doctors note or visit summary and just told me to leave. I had to come back the next morning for the note as well as doctor summary. They are really concerned about the money – I don’t think they really care to help to much. The doctor told me not to get the test I requested and I am glad I pushed because it turned out positive. I will never go back here. The front desk gentlemen was unstable. And there was no supervisor or even acknowledgement of this behavior. He acted like clapping back was his mission. Please please do not go here… unprofessional and scary. They will also judge you and treat you terribly seeming as though there is no camera or third party to check them. Also, the doctor told me the positive result in the middle of the hallway and did no follow up. This place is a joke.By Lillian (2 months ago)Deceitful! During the summer, my daughter injured her hand and we worried she potentially broke a bone. We called around to urgent cares to find a location that could see her and was able to do X-rays. TGH said they could do x-rays if deemed necessary by the doctor and claimed it would be a short wait. Upon arrival, we confirmed that they had an x-ray tech there and would be able to do an x-ray at that time (if needed). We ended up waiting over an hour in the waiting room before being called back. Nurse took standard vitals and then we waited another half hour in the exam room for the doctor. When the doctor arrived, my daughter explained what had happened and I explained we were concerned about if there was a broken bone. That is when the doctor informed us that they could examine it but we would need to go somewhere else for an x-ray because they didn’t have a technician on site and wouldn’t have one until Monday. The doctor said they could write a Rx for an x-ray at another location but it wouldn’t be till the next day because that location also didn’t have a technician. I was very upset about the wasted time and stated such. We declined examination and treatment because we weren’t going to wait until tomorrow to try and get an x-ray (from a location over 30 minutes away). We decided to go to another urgent care (not TGH). Since we were so displeased by the experience and hadn’t received any treatment, we asked to speak with the Office Manager. The Office Manager called the next day and apologized about the issue and agreed that we shouldn’t be charged for the office visit given that we had to go to another urgent care to get examined and treated. Fast forward 4 months, we receive an invoice for the visit which states insurances was charged (and paid) and that we were responsible for a balance. My wife called the billing department and had to explain the whole situation over again. They claimed that they would “escalate” it. Another three months pass, we receive another bill, so I call again and waited for over an hour on hold. The billing department says that the escalation was declined but has none of the facts noted from my wife’s previous call. I asked to speak to the department that handles the escalation to make sure they have the actual details and was told “that team doesn’t have a phone number, we only work with them over email.” Very upset at the fraudulent charges to my insurance and the lack of care on the part of the overall TGH organization.By Jason Bartos (4 weeks ago)I am quite disheartened by my experience at this clinic. I was first seen for a laceration repair, which is not the visit about which I have complaints. The service I received during that experience was average. However, when I returned to have my stitches removed, I was treated terribly. I was very frightened, as I was alone and had never had stitches before. They were on a visible part of my face, and I was very scared of the removal process and the scar that could result from my injury. The “provider”, as the medical staff are referred to here, was most insensitive and, quite honestly, mean. I have her name but am choosing not to embarrass her here despite her treatment of me. When I voiced my fear about my scar, her response was, in a stern tone, “Well, that is going to happen because of the size of the cut.” There was no kindness in her words, no compassion, nothing. She had a very difficult time removing the stitches and told me so. The kicker was when she had scissors on my face and said, “You know, I went to the eye doctor yesterday and feel like my eyes are still . . “. She trailed off. I touched her arm at that point and asked, “Do you think that you should ask someone else to help you?”, as I was very skeptical of her abilities at that point. I certainly did not want someone with issues with her eyes working on my face. She left the room and came back with another “provider”. She introduced the new nurse and told me that she brought her in since I had “flipped out on her”. The second nurse was no more kind but at least got the job done. Or so I thought. I am now sitting in the waiting room of the clinic for a third time, as I discovered last night that a stitch has been left in. After waiting for 30 minutes, I approached the front desk staff to ask whether I could be taken ahead of some new patients, since this visit was the fault of the two “providers” who had removed my stitches. I was told that I would have to wait. It has now been two hours, and I am still awaiting the correction of their mistake. I have been treated poorly here and plan never to return. I hope that the small children and elderly patients that are seen at this location are treated with the kindness and compassion that should come naturally to the staff in this type of setting.By Roll_Tide 17 (a month ago)TGH urgent care on Gandy is the best urgent care ive ever been to. Male NP that works in Triage is Amazing. African American Female doctor is awesome, as well as the Caucasian doctor (currently pregnant). The front office receptionists could use a crash course in providing good customer service. Even with the not-so-great check in, I would say that I have a positive overall experience with each visit.
Great experience. I didn’t even have to leave my car. I only had to wait about 3 minutes. Test was quick, thorough and painless. And the people who assisted me. Were very polite and courteous. I appreciate that. Thank you TGH Urgent Care.😊
I am very impressed with the care I received. I came in with an appt and was seen right away. Every staff member I dealt with was amazing! They were caring and very focused on my health. This is my go to for all urgent care needs from now on! They even call you a few days later to check in on you and ensure your feeling better.
Overall a good visit. The receptionist seem more interested in her phone, instead of checking in and checking out patients.
I did fill out the same forms 3 times.
The PA I seen was knowledgeable and helpful.
He ask me good questions and was concerned for my thoughts.

Terrible services, my wife just waited more than 2 and a half hour with our son very sick and they kept admitting customers who came after her. After multiple times my wife ask the girl at the counter on why she keep skipping her she did not even offer and apology or even answer just an smile on her face like making fun of my wife. TGH should really retrain their staff or get new ones.
