What a great experience. We were visiting Florida on vacation and my toddler had an ear infection. We were greeted by Amanda who helped us quickly with a smile on her face the whole time. Didn’t care to much of intake nurses complaining openly bout a new nurse on staff that apparently didn’t know a “rule” at this specific urgent care. I was Quick to be sent to room then waited a bit. My only issue is I went in with respiratory issues and the doctor only listened to my lungs. Then they proceeded to give us 3 dollar eye drops and no antibiotics for an infection. This was in July. Fast forward to September and being billed 400 dollars followed by an extra 37 dollars for the NP to come in and ask how are vacation was going. It’s been more fun when they keep telling us the bill was for a hospital visit because the place has some association to the local hospital and uses a code that isn’t for urgent care. Melanie absolutely took care of me with the utmost professionalism and tender care for my smashed/broken thumb. I sure wish I could have had her same care as with her associates than I did at the surgery center and with Kennedy orthopedic. If I were giving them a review it would be no stars. Keep up the great customer care it goes a long way afc!
My wife was trying to get her blood drawn for a doctor’s visit. But her doctor wasn’t in the system. The front desk person said they would get the doctor in the system and we could come back the next week and still have the labs ready for the doctor. They were very helpful. Wife says we will be going there from now on.
I finally found a walk-in clinic that I will return to again when I need a doctor. Everyone was nice and helpful and caring. I was told the wait would be 60-90 minutes, but I got in, filled out minimal paperwork, got triaged, saw the nurse practitioner, received a valid diagnosis with treatment plan, and sent on my way within 1 hour and 10 minutes total (even with a full waiting room of people). By the time I got to my pharmacy, my prescription was waiting for me. When one of my symptoms wasn’t addressed, Melanie came back in to address it with a viable explanation without me bringing it up again. I did not feel rushed at all and felt like each person involved in my care listened to what I was experiencing. I am looking forward to being on my way to feeling better. Oh, and the costs weren’t outrageous as I’ve experienced elsewhere. That’s a plus! I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care Sarasota and will be back.
Side note: I don’t review very many places, so for me to take the time to write a review is a big deal. I definitely think this place is worth bragging about.
My daughter had a secondary infection from having Covid weeks prior and AFC helped us tremendously. We had a great experience. The staff members were kind and helpful. The wait time was short and the doctor was thorough. I left there feeling like they really listened to her symptoms and treated accordingly. We felt well taken care of. My family honestly prefers going to AFC visiting anywhere else when we are not feeling well because we know we will receive excellent care and attention. Thank you AFC for giving our family a great experience when we aren’t feeling well.
Its been a long time since I been to the Urgent Care and wasn’t feeling good that day. When I got there I was greeted with front desk staff member. She made feel right at home and that took off the stress of why I was there. The staff that waited on me took my vitals and made me feel comfortable and was very nice. The woman doctor was very nice and helpful to get me feeling better by the time I was finished. The Staff are very skillful in what they do and they make sure you are taken care so you feel better than when you came in. Urgent Care Sarasota are very professional and caring. I want to thank all the staff I appreciate all you did when I was there to be helped
