I enjoy having a place that is walk in so close. Does provide some convenience, however I feel they never value time. I have seen first hand people forget samples, patients, and to make phone calls. I do realize the staff changes pretty consistently, but this has been my experience for the last five years or so. Cons: entering through the back service entrance to get covid tested was sketchy. Staff were moving folding chairs around and a delivery man came though, all while I sat unattended and uninformed in a cubicle. After testing, I was not informed of next steps (was I done? Would I see a doctor?) I was the first person in at opening at 9 am and waited so long in between testing and seeing NP and getting discharged. I was there well over 2 hours to get treated for a bad cold.
Suggestions: I would recommend that staff provide a better explanation of the process of a visit and not use alley service entrance for patients.
By Cindy Clark (6 months ago)I scheduled an appointment for 11:30am, it is now almost 3pm and I’m waiting on the doctor’s office to see someone still. I mean, it is incredible how long they make you wait. By now the X-ray technician has finished his/her shift and the sole reason why I came here was to get x-rays to take to a spine specialist as they requested it. Impressive the amount of time they’ve made me wait for not having a decent queuing system. I’m a process engineer and have seem how easy it is to create a process where people are able to receive notifications instead of suffering in a waiting room while being exposed to multiple people with infectious diseases.By Gustavo Duarte Oliveira (3 months ago)Marque Medical’s staff was so timely, kind, and helpful during my virtual visit. Everyone I spoke to was positive and cheerful which is really nice when you’re feeling sick. They listened with concern and asked follow up questions. The entire staff is remarkable.. Efficient and always polite and made my visit (stitches) very stressless.. Sean is very personable and very precise with his craft. Eric was very helpful and had a great personality . was very accommodating before my procedure. I appreciate everyone who works there… all in all this place is like a well oiled machine.. Staff was so kind and welcoming! They took care of me, listened to my symptoms and treated them quickly. No wait time. Can’t recommend highly enough. I left the ER to come to this urgent care for immediate help because the Scripps memorial ER staff were rude and took 2 hours to even acknowledge me when I was clearly in heavy distress. I was treated with kindness and the doctor and nurses were very attentive and helpful. Thank you! Will definitely be back again if the need arises.
Today was not my first visit to MD Urgent Care. I’ve never had to wait long here. Other urgent care offices, there is always a long wait and the waiting area is full of people. Everybody, from the front office, the nurse, and the doctor were all super nice, friendly and professional. They were able to take an xray, bandage my foot and send me on my way in no time! This place is great!
It was very fast for an urgent care, 1.5hrs total as a walk in. Staff was very nice and so was the doctor. Needed help with severe RSV symptoms that didn’t get better with OTC medication. My family care doc didn’t have any appointments until November 14 and the sharp urgent care wait times were over 2hrs. Prescribed 3 meds to help manage symptoms and they were called into my pharmacy immediately. They had a cool app too where you could track your place in line and see how many people were ahead of you. Would definitely recommend MD Today.
Brought our 1 year old for an eye infection and it was quick and easy. The nurse in the front was so friendly and helpful. She printed out pictures and gave us markers for my daughter to color while we waited for her brother. Would recommend to anyone in the area
