The phone opetators have their hands full with so many calls. Urgent care doctors and nurses as well as clerks are amazing at walk in visits. My Neuro Doctors have been there for me. The support Im given is so much appreciated. My case Manager she is So into what my needs. Id be lost with out her. My Art Therapy Teacher is an Amasing person in my Life . I would not be who I am today had I not had her in my life in these past 9 mths. I must not for get all those behind the scene. Truly the worst practice I’ve ever been “treated” by. If the state didn’t guarantee that they’d have customers there’d be no way they could keep the practice afloat. I had an issue that they did everything they could not to treat. Refusing to help me navigate any possibility of short term disability. They would cancel the day before an appointment that I had scheduled and made me reschedule in another 3 months. They did this to me 4 times in the final year that I lived in Redding. Seriously, they used up a whole year and still hadn’t seen me once. I threw a fit to the front desk receptionists. I kept asking what I was supposed to do and they kept saying that it wasn’t their problem. I don’t know how Dr. Kristofferson sleeps at night but it’s probably much better than she deserves. I hoped that maybe this was a rarity, but from the other reviews it appears that it’s just standard operating procedure for Churn Creek. I’m glad to be back in Ohio and having healthcare professionals that at least pretend to care. I had blood work done twice, a mammogram, an ultrasound, and an MRI. My Dr. Is genuinely concerned about what’s going on and doesn’t seem like she will stop until she gets to the bottom of it. Very thorough and the staff is very friendly. This is honestly the best care I’ve ever received hands down.
Update: Care from that point definitely was lacking. I had a problem & the doctor just kind of shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know.” I saw two other doctors & they ran some standard tests. Everything came back normal & I was pretty much told there was nothing they could do. I am having a problem & because their basic tests don’t show anything that’s the end of the line. I’m just told that I’m going to need to live with it. No further investigation, no recommendations on steps I could take, no referrals. Nothing.

I have had such great experiences with many of the pediatric providers at Shasta Community Health Center. They are always willing to listen to my concerns and come up with solutions or a plan of action. I have had other providers that are only willing to write a prescription and get me out, but at SCHC they are willing to find a long term solution to the issue. I am SO grateful for all their hard work and diligence in caring for the children in our community!
I LOVE Shasta Community Health Center! The Enterprise location on Churn Creek has been my primary care for almost 2 years now, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. They take such good care of me, and their network of specialist physicians has been amazing. I have several conditions that I thought I would not be able to have treated, but they have been so kind and accommodating, even arranging for telehealth visits with doctors in other cities. They treat me with such respect and dignity.
I was very impressed with the immediate acknowledgement I received when arriving at the Urgent Care desk. I had never been to the department before and was not sure what I needed to do to be seen. The ladies at the desk were very friendly and I was seen pretty promptly. An xray was ordered, and I was quickly taken to the xray department, was scanned within 5-10 minutes and back to the exam room. The doctor, Clint Evans, was so friendly and very informative regarding my diagnosis and what he could do and order for my comfort. The waiting room was very full, and the amount of patients they were able to get to, and so promptly was amazing.
My experience with the labor and delivery team was amazing. The nurses and lactation consultant’s were right there when I needed them and they were beyond willing to help and answer any questions I had or might have had. I was at times fearful of the process but I was so quick to be reassured by the staff that everything would be okay. I’m forever grateful for those that assisted me. My gratitude attends to the others that weren’t there as well. You’re all incredible!
I have a great Doctor who explains all of my questions. I bring a list to my monthly appointment & he answers all of them, sometimes it’s a long list. When I do my labs at Shasta community Health center, My Doctor will call me right away if there’s a problem. The lab people are terrific When I go in monthly to get my blood drawn, they always get my blood. I’m a very hard stick, they get me every time. They educate you on everything. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
