I was in the hospital back in June , my husband was too. Our kidneys was shutting down from being sick and not eating. I was on 6th floor and I had the best nurses. One day shift and one midnight shift. They took very good care even had great doctors that took good care of me. of me. And my husband. Although he was down the hall from me. Peggy was the day shift didn’t get midnight shift nurse name. But my stay in hospital was great thanks to them , they were my angels .I got totally great care in this hospital.By Kathy Turner (4 months ago)Saint Mary’s is the biggest joke I’ve ever seen. Out of the 20+ employees I seen today, only a total of 4 of them showed any type of compassion or empathy. During a mental health episode, I can assure that saint Mary’s will not allow you to use the rest room, smoke a cigarette or have a drink of water. Asked for the water right at noon and again at 130 and then 3. I left at 5 and never got one drink of water. They do not care for their patients in anyway shape or form. Most of their employees honestly need to find new professions with the amount of evil in a religious hospital was actually astounding!!
This is the reason most people don’t get the help they need. Nurses have always been the high school mean girls and it really showed today. In 8 hours they wouldn’t do anything to help me. I’m in shock with how mean and careless these people are!!Also, Haley at the front desk ( patient access is her job title) yelled at me for asking if they had called me yet!

Family sent to surgery at 8am. Now 6:30 pm. Have still been unable to see them. Only been updated twice all day after chasing down staff. Being given conflicting information every single time. Literally been awake 32 straight hours and no end in sight. Staff doesn’t care. Not their family. A hospital with better customer service is desperately needed in the area. Would not recommend St Mary’s/Mountain Health.By Amanda Chaffins (2 months ago)I happened to be driving near this hospital when I began to feel lightheaded, cramping muscles, and as though I couldn’t control my movements. Unable to safely control the vehicle, almost crashing in my maneuvering, I navigated the car to the side of the road and screamed and honked at the ambulance in front of me to help as I felt I was losing consciousness. They didn’t hear me (I understand this!). I turned off my car and sat at the side, trying to muster any thoughts I could to make a decision of what to do.
A nurse begrudgingly exited her car and, extremely annoyed and making it clear how much of an inconvenience I was (Like, yeah, I get it. You’d rather be home. I would too.), she called 911 and sent for an ambulance. They asked her to stay, and she hatefully remained, not too concerned with my condition as I slumped wordlessly out the side of my car. The ambulance driver chastised her for not just walking me to the door, which was apparently only a few feet away, before the driver herself led me there and the nurse sighed and left (If I had taken the ambulance, as everyone knows, I would have had to pay hundreds of dollars for no reason).
I waited in the waiting room, very, very gradually feeling better. As I had no idea what was happening to me, I supplied the ER with any significant history I could think of — medication I take, my history of injuries that have damaged my nerves, my posture, my job, everything I could think of. They acted like I was crazy and dismissed everything I said like I was some kind of junkie begging for pills, which I was not. I felt suddenly near death for no reason!! Of course I was scared, and confused!! They kept me there forever and treated me like the biggest waste of time they could imagine, rolling their eyes at me and ignoring me for long stretches of time.
The two stars are for the doctor(s), who were kind enough and did not cast judgement upon me, or at the very least, professionally kept it to themselves. The doctor informed me that I likely was dehydrated, which was entirely possible given my job (Driving with no A/C all day) and the weather, they hooked me up to a water supply and kept me overnight. My body did feel much better the next day when I returned home.
However, a month or so later, I learned that my car had a serious exhaust leak for some time, and for many months, I had been suffering from serious chronic carbon monoxide poisoning. I had been blowing the car vents that day, too, filling my brain with the poison, and if I hadn’t pulled over and turned the car off, I believe I could have easily died.
I now carry so incredibly much resentment for everyone who treated me like trash, and acted like I was crazy and trying to score pain pills. I just needed help. Nobody should be treated like that, no matter what someone WHO IS NOT A DOCTOR thinks about a patient. Terrible experience. Terrible people.By Trenton Shamblin (7 months ago)I had excellent care from all doctors,.staff and employees during my 2 surgeries Dr. Hatfield did my aneurysm surgery in 2020 and Dr. Chaudhry did my VATS Surgery this year 2022. Very professional excellent caring people from housekeeping all the way up to the doctors and everyone in between that was part of my care. Kept my wounds cleaned chest tubes checked and cleaned. I can’t say enough great things about the great care I received! I had a doctor I was signed in under a lung surgeon a heart doctor and countless interns that listened to me and how my body was feeling. I was well monitored and taken care of! I had excellent care from being admitted from another hospital to every floor I was on icu ccu step down, the surgery team. They showed me compassion and made it clear I wasn’t a bother to call whenever I needed anything. While the care was quick and the lady who did my son vitals was really nice no issues there.
They diagnosed him with a severe ear infection, happy I took my son for a second evaluation because he actually had Rsv.This is the same place that told me they hoped I got covid back in December when I was pregnant with him. That I was ultimately a bad mother because I felt it was in my best interest to not get the vaccine.
Anyways they gave him a medication that the pharmacy questioned and also his pediatrician

Staff is always friendly and they explain what’s going on in terms you understand. I don’t need urgent care often but when I do, Med express is my go to.By Allen Littlejohn (2 weeks ago)if I could give this place a 0 I would. just took my roommate in to get tested for the flu because she has been EXTREMELY sick all week and caused her eyes and ear to become infected. every single symptom she had pointed directly to the flu. she gave them a DETAILED description of every symptom she had, which included throwing up, muscle aches, horrible cough, etc. as well as the severe ear pain and her eyes literally being crusted shut with goop. when the dr came in she was in there for less than 3 minutes total. said she doesn’t have the flu and checked her ears only and then left to write a prescription. didn’t try to look further into why she has been feeling so sick for nearly a week, didn’t address her eyes or anything. we had to literally ask her to look at her eyes and she said “no one told her” any of the other symptoms. told her it was a cold. a COLD?? that is making her throw up, shake like crazy and cough up a lung? then she said “well….it COULD be the flu.” can’t believe she wasted money on a copay from this worthless office. this nasty lady made my roommate leave the office crying still not knowing what is wrong. we are getting a second opinion because nothing this lady said seems credible. don’t go here, it’s a waste of your time, money, and sanityBy jamie johnson (a week ago)Went by after work to get meds for a UTI. The cost was a shock at $50 when I have PEIA and could have gone to my regular doctor for $20, the experience was great. Very nice people all the ay thru. It was very difficult to hear the receptionist with the barrier and the noise in the waiting room. The doctor’s here are wonderful! One of the things I love about taking my family here is that we aren’t just another patient and they don’t have to review the chart to know who we are. They really listen to your health concerns and make you feel confident about the care you just received.

We’ve gone to both Daniel and David Whitemore for years and I can’t recommend them enough. I’ve never felt like I wasn’t being listened to or felt like I wasn’t being taken seriously. They take the time to talk to you and don’t make you feel like just another person. They always seem to genuinely remember their patients. The front staff and nurses are just as attentive and kind as the doctors.
