Absolute worse Emergency department we have ever been too. My wife and 3 month old daughter sat there waiting for test (RSV test on our daughter)results for 4 hours! When they said it would only take an hour. After 3 hours when my wife went to ask for an update the receptionist told her the results have been there but no one looked at them. People go to the ER for a reason and it’s not to sit in pain for hours! So far, I am very impressed with this facility. Clean, with a convenient parking lot that is not so big that it is a long walk. Efficient, helpful staff, and plenty of spaced out seating. I especially like the lady who drew my blood. She was so friendly, and had uplifting words of encouragement posted all over. I have not had to wait for more than 20 minutes for any appointment. Even the outside is welcoming, with beautiful flowers and landscaping around the entrance. Most importantly, I appreciate the employee policy that restricts the use of perfumes and fragrances, since most perfumes are dangerous for me. I had more of an emergency, even though I was given a room very early. I was seen at a prompt time due to appointments. I feel it as appointments are not needed in a an urgent care for the fact that people that need urgent care should not be second fiddle to somebody that made an appointment because they feel sick. If you have time for an appointment, you should be making it with your doctor other than that the staff was very pleasant to be around. He was very good with my 2 year old son, and explained everything he was doing while he did it. The ladies at the front desk were also exceptionally nice and every person we saw gave us well wishes for my son. One woman even gave him an extra toy. Received excellent service, was admitted quickly and the wait for the Dr wasn’t unusually long. Nurses were kind and helpful, my Dr was professional and efficient, and I’m assuming my diagnosis was correct because the scripts they called in made me feel better almost immediately! That brings me to my only complaint, which I wouldn’t have even this one issue if they had not specifically told me twice it would be called into my pharmacy in the next half hour. I live a little distance so didn’t want to go home and come out again I felt so miserable. Well, it was a full two hours before being called in and only after I called to make sure I had named the correct pharmacy. That was a rough two hours as I had two infections and a fever. Although there were lots if people there when I arrived I was taken in within a few minutes because I had made an appointment on line. If ever I have the unanticipated need for medical care for either myself or any of my children (ranging in ages from 1-12), and am unable to be seen in a our primary care physicians office in a timely manner, this is my go to facility. They are always kind, professional, and informative. I can say with confidence that the staff of medical professionals can be trusted to not only properly care for you and your family while in their facility but you can also expect to have clear and precise aftercare instructions. I would easily recommend this place and the environment that they provide to those in need. (We all especially enjoy the slushee machine in the waiting area!)
I was seen almost immediately. Each staff member did their part to make sure the medical provider had all the information they needed ahead of time. The NP took sufficient time to make sure she was accessing me correctly. She made sure i agreed with the plan, and knew what to do if I didn’t feel any better in the coming days. I don’t feel like the visit could’ve gone any better!
I went in on Tuesday very sick, they brought me right in. They did tests immediately and got me right out! Very courteous, pleasant and efficient . I am so grateful for them being so quick because I really felt horrible! Thank you all from front desk, to the nurse and the PA!
The process of my hair follicle test was easy.. they explained everything very well… very clean place and very family friendly.. I’d definitely come back for any future needs…
Our normal pediatrician was out on vacation for the week and unfortunately my son had been sick for 6 days with no improvement. We went to a different walk in prior to WellNow and was told he was fine and they sent us on our way. The next morning my son was not any better and I knew he needed medical attention so we went to WellNow. They took our concerns seriously and we were sent home with an antibiotic. My son started improving just after two doses of his antibiotic. I am so thankful that there are places like WellNow who really listen to the parents (who know their children better than anyone) and do everything they can to ensure the child gets better. Thanks again!
