Always very happy with my experiences here for the last couple years. All the staff are so welcoming, and get you in and out as fast as possible with the best care. Dr. Seamount was who I saw today, and she was above and beyond very compassionate. It makes it much easier to go to the doctors when you trust them. Highly recommend this location!By Kyla Mason (2 months ago)I was in and out really quickly, which is why I give it 2 stars. It’s ultra impersonal even down to the decor … but was very clean. The MA typed some things into a laptop and offered to test me for strep, covid and flu based on symptoms. I was shocked an actual doctor wasn’t making that call. Shortly after a “provider” walked through the door, made no eye contact, told me the strep was negative and began to recite her spill on viruses and being sick. She had a perky friendly voice but never once asked me how I was feeling. She looked in my ears, throat, nose and mouth all while continuing to give me a webmd run down on the nature of a virus. As she was getting to over the counter treatments I got up, put my jacket on and went for the door. She did ask if I upset and I responded “I’ve just wasted my time.” I could have diagnosed myself via webmd and saved myself time and money. I didn’t even feel like a person there rather just another “sick patient”. If you want assembly line medicine you can get yourself online I recommend this place. The staff there was very kind and understanding of my situation. The PA I seen, Lillian Cannon, was very kind and attentive to my situation. The x-ray tech and the receptionist were also very pleasant to deal with. I went in there at 11:30 on Sunday, and thankfully they weren’t busy, so I was only in there for a little over an hour and a half. I got more answers of what I’m dealing with, so I know in the future if I need urgent care, I will turn to them. My medical prescriptions were sent exactly to pharmacy as prescribed , and started to feel better within hours of my visit. I even received a follow up call that evening on how I was doing. Everyone here is amazing! I wasn’t feeling the best and Greg the provider was very kind and gave me amazing care! PERFECT FOR THE EVERDAY PROBLEM…WRETCHED FOR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Great for Therapy and Dental. I Had a Autistic Friend who was going their who prescribed him a medicine he was allergic to and their solution was to prescribe epy pens and told him to keep taking the medicine and just use the epy pen instead of going to the hospital or trying new treatments…we sent him elsewhere and it turned out he needed surgery not drugs and epipens. WHEN He was at theray there as well they ended up making things worse and the person prescribed him too many meds to the point he could not function and when this issue was raised she tried to bump up the meds doses which furter complications ensued again we had to send elsewhere. As for my experience I went there for 4 years of therapy after my divorce and the trauma from it among other issues I also used the dentist there. Both were wonderful experiences. Now when I total all this up to see what we have the result is a mediocre medical practice that CANNOT HANDLE ANYTHING COMPLICATED and DONT TRUST THE PSYCH TEAM FOR MEDICATIONS OR IF YOU HAVE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES they will say they can help but THE CANNOT HELP ANYTHING BEYOND THE COMMON PROBLEMS. SO in short this is where you go for every day problems if you have something life long and unable to be cured by dental procedure or talking it out GO ELSEWHERE FOR ANYTHING SERIOUS…
Always easy to get in for walk-in, appointments are always 2 wks out even for very painful issues. I came in once with an odd mix of symptoms that didn’t feel like COVID, and my 2 tests were negative. They made me wait outside as if I had some insane disease, which didn’t feel totally right and I definitely felt put off by that. Staff are mostly nice/helpful, some seem really tired/done some days, but none have ever been outright rude!
Would give 0 if I could. Doctor makes you wait absurd amount of time. Tell you to be early for your appointment, lucky if you get in an hour after your appointment, and easily two hours. Staff is nice…so not sure if it’s over booking or just shear incompetence…and as the nursing staff says the recommendation treatment is the most torcher for the kids, there are other ways…so not happy about that either.
I had a dental appointment today. I arrived 10 minutes or so early and went to check in where I was informed they were extremely busy and they wanted me to come back at 11:30. I told them that would be difficult for me as I had made arrangements to be there for my scheduled appointment time and have my kids watched at that time. The receptionist said okay and walked back to talk to someone. A few minutes later I was very harshly berated for not answering my phone as they tried to call at 9:30 when I was dropping my kids off and already heading there so I didn’t see the call. She continued to treat me very poorly and walked away without giving me any benefit of the doubt or letting me continue talking. I’m a very kind and very easy going person but my service today was beyond unacceptable. The staff and dental hygienists were great no complaints there. But this beginning experience was so awful it made me want to leave and not come back. But I felt I had no choice but to stay and be treated poorly because I don’t have insurance and was having dental issues. Community Health Center please do better just because you’re stressed or busy doesn’t give you the right to treat someone like trash. Especially someone whose coming to you for help.
Today was my first visit with Melanie. Both her and the CMA (Maria I think sorry I’m horrible with names) were very helpful, listened to what I had to say, and answered any questions I had. It was a pleasant experience for a doctor visit. Also the ladies in lab are awesome!
