went in with pain and told the PA to refer me to a specialist and that I needed ultrasound done of kidneys and gallbladder, he agreed and gave the referral for wrong ultrasound, I paid up front $100 before getting ultrasound done. When I asked tech that I also needed the gallbladder done he said no, that only kidneys were referred and that I needed to go back with Dr to get another referral and pay again for another ultrasound. Never again, I was warned about this place and I should have listened. The clinic wasn’t busy enough to warrant a 2 hour and 20 minute wait. Good thing the staff is friendly. But I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy here.By Monique (3 months ago)The staff was so friendly to me. However, Dr. Nathaniel B Garcia was probably the worst experience I have ever had. I had paperwork I needed signed by a physician and I asked the staff if the clinic could do this and they said yes. The staff made sure that a doctor could and they said yes they even asked another gentleman that was there and he even confirmed. They let me know the price and i agreed because they confirmed that it could be done. I was brought back and got my test done and the nurse said all i need to do is give the doctor the paperwork and he would sign it. (note: it was multiple times that i asked) When the doctor came in he gave me the results and I let him know why I came in (for the forms to be signed by a physician) and he immediately said no. I let him know that his staff assured me that the clinic could do this. He said he couldnt do anything about it and i showed him on the paperwork that it did not have to be an obgyn and he kept saying no. He even said “look i dont own the clinic” and so many other very RUDE things. I told him that i wouldnt have been seen if i knew that no one could do anything and that i am in a financial bind and he didnt care. He referred me to another doctor and I went to the doctor he recommended immediately and they told me that Dr. Garcia should have signed it.
I just checked his review on another site and he has 1 star. If I knew I would have asked for someone else. AVOID DR. Nathaniel B Garcia!!!!
To the staff: you were all amazing and kind thank you so much for your service and sorry about the one star because of Dr. Garcia.

Followed by showing me images on his phone of older people in their 60’s who are in fit and in shape. Making me feel awful for my overweight, which is not what I went for. He asked if I knew what it took to be eat healthy and I said yes, and he said, no you’re wrong. Obviously I am a little overweight but before I used to be a fitness freak. Went in for pain. We were taken in quickly and the facility is very clean and modern. There was only 1 other patient there. We spent approximately 3 hours there. However, my chief complaint was not addressed. They didn’t take a proper health history. Nurse put my IV in without wearing gloves. The physician made a diagnosis without asking questions about my symptoms or doing a comprehensive exam. Being a healthcare provider myself, I would have expected more from this clinic.
I went in because I had a fish hook in my cheek ( will be more cautious next time). The Doctor, nurses and assistant were all very kind and good at their jobs. I could not have asked for a better group to take care of me. Thank you!!
I’ve been in once before with my mother, they took great care of her, so naturally I thought I’d be okay going there, went in and the lady at the front desk didn’t look up once from her cell phone while I spoke to her until the end when she asked if I’d been there before and what was wrong. Wasn’t able to get the name, I just left once she informed me they wouldn’t be able to see me due to insurance, understandably so, it was the lack of attention/ compassion that rubbed me the wrong way.
Always been a great experience the few times I have been treated at Exceptional ER in Brownsville. Never a delay & out within an hr. Last night I took my son in for food poisoning & the staff on duty were great. I wish I would have gotten the names of the nurses, especially the discharge nurse; she was funny, great sense of humor & good with my son. Thank you for making a stressful situation less stressful. God sent angel
Superhero’s for me, I came in worried, the receptionist was very helpful and made us feel grateful. Explained all we needed. Made it easy to register in.
Nurse Garnet so precious and gentle. Made me feel comfortable and loved her sweet voice took, the scared feeling I was uncertain. I am so happy to go there.I would go back if I need to again. Thank you Dr. was very observant of my situation. He was direct and very knowledgeable on my case. The blood test results were quickly at his view. Every thing was so quick and professional. Thank you I went home very satisfied.👏🫶💕
