5 Replies to Bay City MI Urgent Care – Walk-In Urgent Care

  1. Great birth team! Both of my children were born here. One needed an emergency c-section and the nurses were quick and efficient. Their attentiveness and swift action saved her. The other was delivered naturally, again with the encouragement and support of amazing nurses. Excellent lactation support and postpartum care too. We are so grateful to them!

  2. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COST!!!! My elderly relative had a fall in this hospital while under their watch. Solution was to put him into bed restraints instead of properly monitoring him. He has received substandard care and they continue to milk his health insurance. Tried to contact Ashley Oliver and have heard nothing back. Notice the soiled bed linens just hanging out in the photo….Just one small example of how this hospital is failing its patients. Avoid interaction with Case Manager Deb (6west), shouted at me, zero people skills.

  3. The labor and delivery floor/team was absolutely wonderful to work with. They were quick to get everyone assembled on a Sunday to perform a c-section safely. The entire team was warm and supportive to both my husband and myself when we were both a little bit terrified. Our baby was safe and healthy and that’s all we could ask for. Wonderful and attentive nursing staff and lactation consultant was also great to work with. Overall I had a great experience.

  4. Everyone was wonderful. Thoughtful and caring. No one rushed at doing things for my broken wrist. It didn’t take long for me to be seen. I am very happy with how I was treated. I go back again next week for another. Cast. They are keeping up on my wrist. They are wonderful there.

  5. I went in for a 15 minute procedure, was told to be there at noon and procedure was scheduled for 1 pm. My procedure didn’t begin until 2:30, making me fast for 15 hours. My glucose wasn’t checked until I requested it even though I am a diabetic. My nurse, Heidi, was caring and compassionate, and made sure I was comfortable. She tried to keep things moving although the surgeon was overbooked. The tech and anesthesiologist were great. After the procedure we should have been able to leave at 4pm but waited until 5:30 for the surgeon to speak, briefly, with us. I had to ask to be taken down in a wheelchair, the nurses were busy having a “chat fest” about vacation spots. The nurse who wheeled me down seemed perturbed to have to do so. That made me feel like a bother. We left so late that my elderly husband had to drive the two hours home in the dark.

I see the reviews and some are bad but I’m guessing it’s inexperienced people going there. I’ve gone to Med Express in Saginaw when I lived there. They were great. This place was exceptional. From the moment I got there they were very nice and seemed generally concerned for me. Sarah the nurse that helped me was very nice and super helpful. Then I saw Dr. Judy. She explained everything to me so I could understand. I highly recommend going here if you need medical treatment and don’t need to go to the hospital. And I can’t remember her name but the woman that checked me on was nice and very professional even with the glitch in the system. Oh. And the woman that checked me out did a great job. She was very professional and proficient to get me out of there quickly. From start to finish I was there for about 45 minutes. It was a great visit and I hope people have better experiences. Thank you ladies for helping me out!!

I didn’t want to come here after reading the reviews, but was open on a Sunday. I was treated with respect. I was treated for my issue. Dr Brandenburg was friendly, helpful, respectful and very pleasant. She didn’t make me feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience.

Took my son in there yesterday the bay city Wilder rd location. Took him in he was extremely sick we asked for specific testing such as Covid, rsv, and flu because we just had traveled. They denied us tests saying he didn’t need them and they were expensive. They said he had an ear infection and sent us on our way. I ended up having to rush my son to ER later in the evening. He in fact has RSV. Hope this place saved some money not Do not recommend. Do not go there! Seen Marilyn Staines.

I was seen on 10/29 by a caring and compassionate Dr. I didn’t catch her name but you don’t often run into a doctor like this, that is kind, thorough and thoughtful.

Thank you for seeing me and the advice given, it sped up my treatment options exponentially and I was able to get the treatment I needed.

I highly recommend North Pine over other UC options available.

Both Dr.’s here are amazing. They always make me feel comfortable and welcome. The nursing staff is always wonderful and we joke a lot together. So wfor someone with high anxiety like me, having a comfortable and light place to go for health concerns is a HUGE bonus. Even my Psychiatrist could not get my depression meds right, but Dr. Pale gave me a medication, knowing my issues with weight control, and my severe anxiety and depression, and I feel like I am getting back to myself! I could not be grateful enough to this place. And all the people complaining about COVID and then having their vaccines and wearing a mask so they will be protected if someone needs to be seen with COVID. It’s not themselves they are concerned about, since they are a testing center, it is the other patients that may have a lowered immune system, or not have the vaccine. They look out for others.. it’s not them turning people away, it’s them making sure everyone who steps into that building is safe and comfortable.

I was having a bit of an issue finding someone to see my toddler on a Saturday morning. It took me three urgent care attempts and then I came here. I wish I came here first. We were in and out fairly quickly, staff was excellent and so patient with my toddler. We will definitely be returning!

What a terrible experience with this place. Went into the walk in clinic and the Dr prescribed me an antibiotic. He told me if I had any issues just to call and they would send me in a different medication, that it’s ‘no problem at all’.

After taking the antibiotic I started having a bad reaction to the medication. After a few days of taking it I had to stop. Called the clinic and the lady who answered was EXTREMELY rude. Almost as if she was annoyed that I called. She said “YUP NO PROBLEM your medicine will be called in for you and ill call you back to let you know either way.

Days later now and I’ve gotten no call back and nothing has been sent into my pharmacy. The lady just didn’t want to be bothered with it. Period. The Drs are great, some of the office staff not so much.

I filled out the paperwork to make this place my primary Dr. And after this I will not be going back.

To the lady I spoke with your’e truly the definition of a terrible person. Work on your people skills and compassion for others!!!! You probably shouldn’t have the job you have.

I have nothing but respect for healthcare workers, I think they’re real life superheroes. When I was desperate to understand the surprise sickness that hit me out of nowhere I opted to go to North Pine considering the fact that It was nearby and they allowed walk-ins. I went on two separate occasions and was handed off to Dr. Kreckman both times. Before asking me anything about my symptoms each time he decided to first question my covid vaccination status and proceed to question me about my answer on both occasions because it didn’t match his beliefs. He then sat me down for about a half an hour and completely blew off every question I had and talked to me about how changing my diet will fix everything. I had done massive amounts of research on my symptoms and what conditions it could’ve potentially been and nowhere did it say that diet could ever be the sole reason I was going through the things I was. Ive been active in sports all my life and never had a diet that was out of the ordinary for someone of my age. He turned me away both times saying that it would clear up on its own which has yet to happen. I went to covenant one day to get a second opinion because I was skeptical and sure enough it was revealed shortly after that I have a chronic illness, the nurse and doctor at covenant were shocked that I was turned away so easily while displaying something that abnormal. I still have respect for him and I wish him good health however I will never go to North Pine again.
