My dear sister was sick and went to quick fix family convenient care. The staff was amazing . The nurse practitioner gave excellent care . She put my sister immediately on antibiotics, and now she is feeling so much better . I’m uninsured so I had to pay $85 for the visit and $20 for the urine test. That’s all they told me I had to pay, so I paid it at the office, got my prescriptions, and went on my way.
Now I’ve got a lab bill for $125.00 that I was NOT warned about in any form. They did a urine test in-house, which cost $20, but then sent my test off to a lab without telling me about it or giving me any sort of heads up that I’d get a bill. I didn’t want or need my test to be sent to a lab! If sending it off to a lab is mandatory, LET ME KNOW BEFORE HAND. I don’t even know what was tested or what the results were. Whatever medicine they gave me from the in-house test worked, so why not just send the test to the lab if the medicine they gave me DIDN’T work??
The lady at billing, Christine, was super nice and helpful about everything and it was out of her hands so she couldn’t directly assist me, but I wish the ladies at the office or the doctor would have mentioned the fact that they’d be sending my test to a lab. They knew I was self-pay because they had to change it in their system the day I went, so it feels like an important thing to mention. Getting this surprise lab bill right before the holidays while I’m also unemployed almost hurts worse than the actual UTI.In my anger I’m tempted to leave only one star, but I’ll give you one star for the same-day appointment, another star for giving me medicine that helped me feel better, and a final third star for Christine from billing because she was kind and at least tried to assist me. Three stars total.
They’re a decent office but honestly not being told my results were going to a lab and not being told that I’d be getting a charge for it has really soured my experience. Just let people know up front and be transparent about it.By Manda (Mana) (3 months ago)My nephew was brought in around 4:50 p.m. because of some skin irritation and when his aunt asked the person at the front if they could be seen. She was told “ let me see if the doctors backed up”. There were only 2 cars in the parking lot and the people that were in there had left.Apparently they were turned away and she sat in the parking lot and watched the doctors and workers close and leave at 5:00 P.M. when they’re suppose to close at 5:30?
That’s unacceptable! Inexcusable! Turned away a 1 yr old simply because you did not want to see him. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Amy, y’all that woman has the most comforting smile and very accommodating to any of your needs! I’ve seen three of the doctors here and interacted with almost everyone and that is including the weight loss program which I have successfully lost 60 lbs on. The entire staff and doctors are always very attentive you can tell that they are concerned about your issues and they really show how much they care. I’ve arrived early and been taken back and I don’t mean 5-10 minutes early I mean 30 minutes early they were a little slow that day so they could get me on back but I’ve never had an unreasonable weight even if they’ve had to do a blood draw or an x-ray that was not planned when I initially made my appointment so if your time matters to you and you want to deal with a group of professionals that have excellent personalities and will make you feel like they are concerned because I truly believe they are then you should come here and give them a shot I doubt you will be disappointed.By James F (a year ago)Parking lot is nice and clean. First of all they put me in a room and forgot I was there. I have been a patient there for over a year and was shocked at the mistreatment. I have to wonder if it is because I am black. I could hear the “doctor” and others outside the door laughing and talking and yet no one checked room 9 which is where they stuck me. I finally walked out and asked what was going on… They didn’t even remember putting me in the back!!! I miss Dr. Woods!!! This would never had happened. I was placed on the chiropractor side and completely forgotten. What sick person wants to be sat in a room and forgotten. Just went in today with my first severe ear ache.. I tried to push through it, but it was just irking me in every way…
They were fairly fast and professional. They answered any questions I could actually think of under the pain too (for a guy who hasn’t really been to the doctor other than a DOT physical in over 13 or so years). And made me feel confident in their treatment.
I let them know I had I still had a budget, even though I had pretty good insurance, and the Doc got me treated fast! I was feeling better within about 4 hours.
She wasn’t really sure of the cost of the shots I agreed to to quicken the healing and ease the pain.
I guess I’ll find out in a couple of weeks!
Overall great place to go.. more to come when I receive my bill! 😂

Very welcoming staff up front and in the back with all the providers. My fiancé came in for a much needed adjustment/alignment to ease his constant lower back pain. Dr. Cotten took all precautions and decided to do an x-ray, come to find out he has a minor case of scoliosis that’s been undiagnosed for over 20 years. He came home feeling very relieved and pleased with his visit at Southern Spine & Health. We will be coming back for all future visits, 10/10 would recommend this chiropractic office!!
The nurses at the front desk was awesome very kind polite. the nurse practitioner awesome and knowledgeable. the chiropractic guy is very experiencing what he do. So I gave you four stars first impression is the best
When I stopped in to inquire about the Covid-19 testing. The service was great. They want information in an electronic format.
The day I arrived for 8:00 A.M. test I called at 08:01A.M. and informed them I was at the rear of the facility. They said hold on and hung up. The back door open and closed so I waited. At 8:09 A.M. I recalled and told them I was at the rear and they questioned why i was being tested? All previously discussed. arrived and performed the test at 8:17 A.M.
From 5 star service to 3 star service.
Very friendly and concerned staff, that gives you friendly, professional and courteous service. The medical and PT Staff are extraordinary in what they do!!!
