I came in here today at 12:25pm they had a sign that says 12:30 they’ll be closing for lunch but the already closed down at 12:25pm and refused to help me when the sign says 12:30pm.By Beautiful Goddess209 (4 months ago)Missing many of the products on the shelves. Medicine for flu CVS, chocolate bar blacksmith Rocher among others. Sincerely reviewed by @windersonnathannBy Winderson Nathan Lopes de Jesus (2 months ago)As far as customer service goes, this is probably the best pharmacy to shop. They do have long pharmacy lines, so its a good idea to call in ahead. However, the register does pretty well. I am usually in and out within 10 minutes. Store is always well organized and I never seem to have much trouble looking for what it is I want.By Watzetzface (a year ago)Had the cashier tonight reach over the counter and hit a button on the card reader right after I hit NO for no cashback and was about to type in my pin#. The button she hit sent it through as credit. 1- I did not ask for her assistance in running my card. 2- I dont run credit on my card, my bank charges extra to do so and it takes several days for it to process. 3- She argued with me after I told her she had no right to touch the card reader with out me asking. To say I am mad is an understatement. I will not be returning to shop here again.By A L (a year ago)Excellent shopping experience. A great friendly environment for looking around at the great sales going on.By John Mendez (4 months ago)

Didn’t realize how fun it could be to shop at CVS. I enjoy the fact it’s a smaller store to shop and the temperature is always right. Nice and warm for the winter. It’s not cold like other stores, example: Walmart or Winco always freezing! CVS has a rewards program to shop! It becomes fun and addicting! Great prices if you know what your doing when buying sale items. The only down fall products aren’t always there to buy but I’m still going to try and see if it’s worth it to shop there.By Diana (a month ago)I fill all of my Rxs at this pharmacy, and have never had any problems. Both the pharmacist & his staff have always been extremely helpful or have gone above and beyond when situations (that are not their fault) arise. The folks who work in the rest of the store always greet me upon entering, and if I look lost aka I forgot what I was looking for someone generally comes and asks how they can help me. Sure sometimes things I need are out of stock, but that happens everywhere and has nothing to do with this CVS.
I feel like lots of the issues Re: the pharmacy at this location have more to do with the prescribing doctor and/or the person’s insurance. Often when People don’t know WHY something is happening they assume the most proximate in line is to blame.
SIGN UP FOR THE CARE PASS IF YOU/YOUR FAMILY USE THE PHARMACY A LOT & IF YOU BUY CVS BRAND ITEMS!!! It has saved us a LOT of money monthly!
By Patricia Donaldson (5 months ago)I bought ice cream today, came home, and took a bite; it was so disgusting! the container expired on Oct. 12, 2022. Ice cream contains milk; the store should check expiration dates seriously, especially with food!By Jlovely (a month ago)Yet again, a prescription that I have refilled every single month at this location – is not ready & was never ordered! This means that I get to wait another 2-3 days for them to order the medication. Avoid this circus & its clowns at all costs.UPDATE: same issue with my prescription happened for a 2nd month in a row.
By Justin Steiner (6 months ago)Another OK CVS.But no five stars because:
– the store wasn’t very clean and it was quite messy.
– when entering the shop, 2 employees immediately told us that they were about to close, while there still was 25 minutes left till closure. That was not customer friendly at all. However still 4 stars because one of the employees was very fast to help me in finding what I needed (probably because they wanted to close the store…).

That’s it for our list of the best CVS in Visalia CA! If you have any arguments or additional information, please leave a comment. We love to hear from our readers too!
I wasn’t going to give a review. After reading several reviews I felt I needed to say something. I’ve had nothing but good experiences here at CVS. Yes the front could use maybe a few more staff, but for the size of this store I’m thinking that’s why there is not a lot of staff. Pharmacy staff is wonderful. There are a few of the techs that are a bit rude, but the nice techs make up for the rude ones. Keep up the good work CVS on Demaree.
Personally, I love the phone menu for reaching the pharmacy staff. Call Costco, press 0, and someone answers. Not here. First you are asked if you are calling from a doctors office. If no, then you are asked why the call. “Speak to pharmacist”. Okay, says the man, what are you going to ask the pharmacist? If checking on your order, press 1, to check cost press 2, and so on until “speak to the pharmacist, press 7”. Yeah, I said that ten minutes ago. But you’re not done yet, you have to enter your birth date so the pharmacist knows who you are. Which is pointless because the pharmacist is going to ask you for the same information when they finally answer. Why you have to go through this menu dance instead of just getting put thru is beyond me. Today, you can’t even get through before you get hung up on. I even tried pretending I was calling from a doctors office but it didn’t matter. It all goes back into the same menu anyway. Press 9 to read this review again.
The pharmacy didn’t open until 8:30. Then they had my sons birthday wrong, had to call insurance. It took me 45 minutes in store until I could get the prescriptions. Then while trying to talk to insurance another CVS employee is vacuuming right next to service window and had a real hard time speaking with the assistant.
Submitted photos said same day pick up my scheduled time was at 3:30pm. I went into the store at 4:30pm for pick up on my photos to find out there Machine is down. For me to submit my photos to a different cvs! Whaaaat!? So ridiculous not a call stating their photo machine is down. NOTHING!
I went to pick up my prescription at 10am when the pharmacy was to open. At 10:05 went to the front of the store to ask the associate if the pharmacy was going to open. I was told yes it a few minutes the pharmacy associates were running late. Come to find out the pharmacist was not there yet. I waited another 20 minutes still no pharmacist. I left called back at 12:00 they were still waiting for the pharmacist. What is going on? The staff at this store is very unprofessional. I have never had this problem with the CVS on Caldwell.
