Got my Rx’s here for about a year. Only 1 pharmacist is competent @ this location. Repeated horrible experiences with various pharmacy techs. One gave out medication advice that was none of her business. This advice should have only come from my doctor or MAYBE the pharmacist. I waited 20 minutes on hold for a pharmacist on 2 consecutive calls. On the 3rd try I waited 15 minutes. I was NEVER allowed to speak w/the pharmacist on any of these attempts. STOP HIRING INCOMPETENT CLERKS CVS!!!
TOTALLY DONE WITH THIS ENTIRE COMPANY. 100% LOSER.By Dianne G (6 months ago)for a while I could not understand why this pharmacy was rated so low. I do now. Today there was only two people there, and one told me that they could not answer the phone because they were too busy. They had listed my medication in a text to me, but when I got there it was not prepared, and the lady said I have to come back tomorrow. This has happened before.By Robert Langston (4 months ago)Never answer the phone, insane drive thru time (30+ mins on some days), and completely incompetent pharmacy techs. Would give 0 stars if I could. I unfortunately have to use CVS for my insurance but would DEFINITELY take my business elsewhere if I were anyone else.By KiMára Llyn (2 months ago)Like other reviews I would give zero stars if I could.
Rude employees at pharmacy drive thru. Have had issues in the past and again today. Asked Precious the manager for district managers information she refused to give it to me and said they weren’t allowed to give me that information. I asked Lori again she wasn’t willing to help. I was willing to give my information for them to pass on to the district manager for a call back. Sara slammed down the phone and her and Lori proceeded to walk off laughing. Refusing to help me. Today was not the first time I have had issues with this location. But this was the first time I tried to speak to someone at a higher level.SHAME ON CVS THAT THEY ALLOW THEIR EMPLOYEES TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT AND UPPER MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE AND DOES NOT WANT TO BE BOTHERED!!
By Vpatton727 (a month ago)This has to be one of the worse CVS pharmacies. I called at 4:49pm and they finally picked up the phone at 6:18 only to tell me they couldn’t send my prescription to another CVS even though they texted me at 4pm telling me it was out of stock and if I would like it transferred to call them so that’s what I was trying to do. This place needs new management and to have people working there that actually care!By Yvette Rocha (a month ago)

Store manager acted as if helping me (his job) was an inconvenience. I hate having to go in there. The pharmacy section ia, and always has been, great. The store front is lacking in every way possibleBy Jacob B (4 months ago)Always a long line and lack of staff. Prices are ridiculous for everything. Store manager should be sent to re-education center on how to be courteous and helpful.By Robert Perry (3 weeks ago)By far the worse cvs I been to the boy at the register name Matthew was just following us through the store. I guess my business will go to Walgreens.By Sheyla Serrato (5 years ago)Kayla Vickery is the most unhelpful and rude person I’ve ever experienced in a pharmacy. She refused to handle my prescription and refused to put anything through to my insurance then charged me out of pocket for my medicine. I called my insurance after and they said that my medicine is covered and all she needed to do was send the request through to them, which she would not. Kayla Vickery shouldn’t have a job if she doesn’t want to work.By Taylor Hughes (6 months ago)Went to the pharmacy to get needles for my diabetic daughter. Pharmacy tech was rude and kept yelling at me after she informed me that they didnt sell them without a prescription.By Susan Sellers (5 months ago)

That’s it for our list of the best CVS in Tyler TX! If you have any arguments or additional information, please leave a comment. We love to hear from our readers too!
I gave two stars because I imagine they’re busy, which is completely understandable, but the service was very poor. I arrived for a scheduled COVID test; the line was long, but I got to the window right about my scheduled time. I was asked what I was there for and my name, then sat for 10-15 minutes without being acknowledged – not even to tell me that they were busy and to please hold tight, which I would gladly have accepted. Eventually I was asked my DOB and confirmation number, and ignored again for another 5 minutes or so before I finally decided to leave… Without my test being performed. Please work on your customer service, guys – most understand when you’re busy but would at least like to be told that they haven’t been forgotten.
If you can get to another location do so. The lady in this location(wears glasses)no longer wants to check you out even though she has no other customers she direct you straight to the self check out because they no longer use register unless they need too. Even though she has to come and assist. Work double I say… yes I saw her do it few people. Oh and don’t pay with cash use your debit card they will not refund you cash STORE policies even though you have receipt. Now got it the one on the loop and the guy there is awesome great customer service!
I was able to easily find what I was looking for, checkout was quick, and the cashier was friendly.
The flood of 1-star reviews a while back is odd. They were all posted around the same day and mention a specific name, which doesn’t happen very often. It seems orchestrated.
The worst CVS pharmacy I have ever been too. Staff inexperienced and lack customer service awareness. Have gotten my family medication wrong on numerous occasions.
I stopped by this location and immediately was not impressed.
2 guys claiming to be from ASPCA were out front, thats fine..
As I left, they asked me for my name, my phone number, and my date of birth (YES L, my date of birth).
I acted nice and went on my way immediately l. Wont ever go here again.
