  1. CVS. Look at your reviews!
I like going here, but it always takes a couple calls and a 7 day wait to get something ready for pickup. Very long hold times, even if you call before 5am. 10 people crammed into a very small space. No wonder everyone is irate. I am guessing poor management.

  2. Lady was so rude. Shes in a blue shirt. She wouldn’t let me ask a question and made me cry in the drive thru line. They dont answer the phone, and my account online wont let me refill my prescriptions so I guess CVS just says F U, your questions will never be answered. Screw you old lady in the blue shirt working drive through at 9 pm on tues nov 7. You need to let people speak to you. Its so incredibly rude and hurtful. Its just a question and if I cant ask you then who can I ask???

  3. Wil, pharmacy employee, is very rude and told me I didn’t know what I was talking about today. He kept misunderstanding what I was saying to him when giving him my name. I kept telling him I had a notice on my phone that my script was there. He again told me I didn’t know what I was talking about and said I needed to move on. I went into the store and showed him the message on my phone saying that my scripts were ready to pick up and had the barcode to scan for them. He did not apologize, nor did he stop what he was doing and give me my scripts as he should have when I was outside. I was quite irritated and think his customer service skills leave much to be desired. In addition, he was talking down to another customer in the drive-up line while I was waiting to get my script. He yelled at me when I came in, and I have to admit I yelled back at him. I have never been treated like that. I would like to see him written up for his attitude and behavior.

  4. Not 24h anymore. “Short staffed” so won’t call to have a script sent over for 24-48h from another pharmacy that was out of stock. Of course you won’t know that until you go or manage to wait on hold and have them pick up.

  5. This pharmacy is the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever dealt with. As a nurse it is horrifying to know what they repeatedly drop the ball on regarding my parents medication. There is more to pharmaceuticals than putting pills in bottles. People need to know when there is issues regarding the processing of their medications and it is sad that a known cancer patient can sit without their med and no notification from the pharmacy of any insurance issues preventing them from getting what they need. Especially as you enter the weekend. This entire pharmacy support staff needs retrained on patient care, continuity of care and how to help their pharmacist and patients have a smooth running pharmacy.
These issues are strictly with the pharmacy and have no relation to the front end staff. My parents have sat without needed meds. Been given multiple doses of prescriptions when a new order has been written having them buy both the old dose and the new dose. They have been given refills on a med with no refills that they had already picked up while still taking the original bottle of antibiotic. This is a very disorganized pharmacy and one day a mistake could really hurt someone. Get it together pharmacy support staff.

Only been waiting 3 days for my pain medication to be filled just to find out they were finally ready as cvs was closing the pharmacy. You realize people are in pain right? This place is worthless

Horrible experience trying to get a much needed prescription filled. The website never works to check online and to talk to a live person you have to jump through hoops. Then wait on hold for 30 minutes. The pharmacist I spoke to was very rude and had said a prescription would be done in an hour. Four hours later still not ready. Went through the hassle to call again got the same rude person. Was told a half hour. Finally ready an hour and a half later. Family member was treated rudely when they went to pick up for me. Treated like they were inconveniencing the pharmacist. Family friend said no one was in drive up and the store wasn’t busy. Not the first time I’ve had issues getting meds here.

Since zero wasn’t an option this review will have to do! After sending my prescription(for pain medication) out for delivery last month, resulting in a two day delay, and for which I did pitch a fit, I thought the matter was taken care of. However, my doctor approved a refill yesterday, yet when I called to check today the autobot said there was no authorization in the system. I called the pharmacy and was told that it had been authorized yet once again sent out for delivery. Sent out on Friday means I will probably not see it till Monday. Instead of getting(at least) an apology I was told that they had no record of my cancelling delivery service. I never had issues like this with the old CVS on N Main. Seems my only recourse is to transfer my prescriptions to Walgreens and hope for better service.

Waited an hour after Doctor sent RX for severe ear infection to cvs, I didn’t get a call or text from pharmacy, so I called and of course automated voice said it would be ready in 15 mins…so I waited 20 then pull up to drive-thru and lady tells me it’s not quite done yet, it’ll be another 15…so I pull into a spot and wait..15 mins goes by…not a call or text mind you so I pull up again and this time they proceed to tell me that ” oh sorry I guess we are out of that antibiotic” I asked them why they didn’t tell me that this whole time and they just said sorry…no I’m sorry, but when you tell me it’ll be done for sure in 15 mins especially after I watch you speak to pharmacist, there is no excuse, so then she tells me they will see if other location has it, then literally turns for 1 sec and looks at me and says they too are out of stock!!!!! I ask if it can be sent to another pharmacy and she says “yes” so I tell her to send it to Walgreens, then she tells me they are also out! She tells me they can send to Target or Schnucks and I tell her fine send it to Target down the street. This lady sends it to Target on East State St. and I don’t find out until I get to the Target in Machesney Pk!!! Meanwhile I call Walgreens and they tell me that they are fully stocked with that antibiotic so now I know CVS lied because they just don’t want to give their competition any rx even when sick people esp 9 yr old boy needs it!!!!! The only reason they wanted me to go to those stores is because they are also cvs pharmacies!!! So let’s make people waste time and gas and suffer when they truely need it!!! How sad!! Thankfully the nice pharmacist at Target was able to get it ready in literally 5 mins after having to call the other cvs to ask why they sent it to East State. This is not the first time and I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt… I know you are short staffed and overwhelmed with rx but at least be honest and don’t waste customer/ patients time when they could get what they need somewhere else!!!!!!! Don’t make people suffer and stress more!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED

If I could give zero stars I would. I realize every employer these days happens to be short staffed and I understand. I’m a rather patient person typically and I always tell whoever waits on me to have a good day. The pharmacy tech that waited on me to pick up my daughters prescription today was horrible!! If I were CVS I’d rather be even shorter staffed than to have someone rude working for me. The young man couldn’t tell me when the prescription would be ready only that it would be by closing and proceeded to say “look we came to work but we didnt have to”. Really!!!!!

No issues if ya go out of peak times . But during busy times they do a good job to the best of their abilities

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. I have been on hold on the phone for 30 minutes without speaking to a pharmacist. If you do manage to get through, it takes a very long time for a prescription to be filled. A pharm tech once told me it would take 10-15 minutes for my script to be ready for pickup, but it took 45 minutes instead (for a script that came in a prepackaged and precounted bottle). I’m not sure why this store is so inefficient, but any other CVS in the area is better.

I used this store for the first time this morning. I always try to use the same pharmacy but I have one prescription that is complicated to fill. When I walked in I was greeted by staff and got back to the pharmacy where I had Nikki the pharmacist. She was so pleasant and helpful. She went the extra mile in taking time with my prescription and making sure I got the lower price I will definitely be going back.

Terrible pharmacy; it is a shame that my insurance is contracted through them. Horrible people , horrible pharmacy with zero compassion.

    Do not use this location

This is the worst place ever to sit in line to get a prescription in the drive thru. I sit in line for at least 45 min each time. I don’t understand how you have two lanes and it can still go that slow. Seriously need to step it up. People have better things to do than just sit here for 45 mins. Never coming back.
