I received a text asking if I wanted the pharmacy to get a prescription refill for me. I said yes but I was never notified that my prescription was ready for pick up. I need that medication so I saw my doctor today and he told me he sent the prescription two weeks ago. I’m all about supporting local business but this wasn’t the first time a mistake was made.By Peggy Larsen (5 months ago)After using Shavers almost 20 years, got a text saying they no longer filling perscriptions and that my scripts are at Walgrens! Without notice,/without auth and Walgrens not even on my Ins. THEN trying to call them they BLOCKED calls and forwarded the number to Walgrens! After 45 min on hold I found I was talking to Walgrens, not Shavers. I can’t believe Lori would do the community this way! Its not like she came in one day and decided this. No notice to customers, and bombarded Walgrens with the dumping of all scripts. Thats how they treat loyal customers. WALGRENS is doing their best to answer calls and has MANY scripts that now have to be forwarded someplace else, not only flooding Walgrens but shuffling off THEIR responsiblity that they should have handled but causing many hardships on people that now have a delay for meds
I got my meds, shots, vitamins, and other stuff i will no longer do. I guess when you grow your business so big off backs of loyal customers that you look more like a dept store you can dump them. They always have my bubble packs & bottle meds correct. I went Ed Snell’s pharmacy for two 1/2 recent months of July-Sept.. Ed Snells mixed together my morning and nights meds. Ed Snell’s still would not listen to the instructions of my Dr.s, my instructions, my Case Workers instruction and Ed Snells lied saying thats what my Dr. prescribed. This is a lie. The staff are always friendly and I really appreciate the drive though. Waiting, and waiting, and waiting for this Walgreens to transfer my prescriptions to Smith’s Pharmacy. I never would have chosen Walgreens (b/c of multiple negative experiences with the company over the years), but my previous pharmacy (Shaver) sold their retail business to Walgreens. I quickly requested a transfer to Smith’s following Walgreens instructions. Smith’s has called and faxed requests; I have called – still no transfer after 9 days. She has jet black hair, and black eye make up that is shaped like an arrow coming off her eyes.
Now, as I left the counter she made a statement as if she was wishing me well. Then, she all of a sudden called me a loser.Lastly, I came into that shop and spent fifty dollars on medical and personal hygiene items, but I can certainly go somewhere else like Walmart which is open late too. So, do yourself a favor, get rid of Elvira before you lose anymore customers.
By Stewart Quinn (5 months ago)I used to use them for all my prescriptions, but after I was treated poorly while waiting for an appointment I made for vaccines (I was there 1.5 hours for a scheduled flu vaccine), I started using a different pharmacy. I have been trying for a month now to get all my prescriptions transferred (all of them but one was moved), but they’ve consistently denied receiving requests (I’ve sent 4, and have the proof of each request) and been so unhelpful with getting this last one moved over. I’ve gone one month without this medication, and I’m truly at my wits end with dealing with them. The girl at the front register was so rude to me. She had another lady do a price check on a clearance item. I walked over showed the worker the price she said you need to tell her it’s a red ticket so I Said I did tell her it was a clearance item. The girl at the register heard me and very loadly Said its my job mame I had to check. I’m not the one who said to tell her the other worker did. I told her I’m simply saying what your co worker told me too. I told them I needed them that day so they put me on hold until a recording came on and said the pharmacy was closed for lunch and I could call back later. Today was my first experience with Snell’s pharmacy. The staff is awesome, polite and professional. I am transferring all my prescriptions to Snell’s. Thank you all so much for making my life easier!
If I could I would give them a no star at all. Their customer service is terrible, you try to call and your left waiting on the phone until they disconnect you. I have been hung on four times, the communication at this pharmacy is also pretty bad.. This Pharmacy needs to get their act together before they lose customers to their competition…..
This is one of the best pharmacies around. Each customer is handled as an individual. There is no big Company policies in action. The prices of prescriptions for uninsured clients is low. I love that they remember me as I walk thru the door.
These guys work hard and are tremendous help. The recognize that I probably don’t feel that well as I am a cancer patient. They are warm and kind. Thank you!
Let me begin by saying if I could give Snells 0 stars I would have. I had a major neck surgery a few weeks ago. After getting a new hard copy script for my pain meds I was told by the pharmacist Zeb( I believe his name was) that I had a 30 day supply filled a couple weeks ago. This was not correct because of the surgery. He would not listen to any reasoning about the matter. Snells themselves filled a script for the same pain meds a week prior. Obviously this was before the 30 days was up, that was such a “problem” today. When I asked what was going to happen then? He said “I’m the pharmacist and I choose to not fill this.” He had absolutely no professionalism or human decency whatsoever. I used Snells for years to support local. Less than an hour later another pharmacy in town filled the script with no problems. I won’t spend another cent at Snells ever again.
