  1. I hate this store! They always find a way to screw up my medications and insurance…always! I called yesterday to make sure a scheduled medication would be ready, my last dose was 12 hours ago and I depend on my meds to function…. in the past, they delayed my meds and I wanted to try and avoid that today! I predicted yesterday that they would screw it up and delay my medication for hours like they have since May….I called this morning, 2 hours ago to fill, and just like I predicted, these idiots managed to bill my insurance… couldn’t fill it, then lied and said another store had my medication!!! I called my doctor, customer service, and my insurance and confirmed they filled it… now, I have to pay out of pocket and have insurance reimburse me…. in retaliation, they’ve delayed my medication until 230pm and by that time, I would be taking my second dose! I just moved to Florida from Arizona…. in 8 years, I’ve never had the issues I’ve had here!!!!! You would think with a lawsuit hanging over their heads for billions, they’d act better!

  2. I use this CVS for routine monthly prescriptions. I prefer to go inside. Staff is always busy but service is usually in a reasonable amount of time . I like being texted when meds are ready. Both CVS and Walgreens have problems but being professional and courteous on both sides helps. Check your prescriptions and check your bag before leaving.

  3. Sorry, zero is an option.
This CVS needs to hire more staff! Every time I go through the drive thur, I wait forever.
As soon as I pull up a recording states they are with other customers, which I can clearly see them helping the inside customers. The wait is unreasonable.
Today I called to inquire about a prescription, the phone was answered in a loud, rushed voice I think was saying they’re working on inside customers, phone calls, the drive, and putting together orders. Told to wait. Phone slams down and silence. Here I sit. As of this moment the call has been on hold 18:37 minutes.
CVS you’ve got to do better.

  4. Management needs to check this pharmacy! Their drive through has been closed for 2 days and I’m standing in a line of about 15 customers. This is crazy just to pick up 1 BP script. Please do something about this! It’s torture. I’m checking on getting my scripts transferred to a pharmacy that I don’t have to dedicate 30 minutes of my time to pickup… I don’t have time for this!

  5. I’ve been to this CVS several different times. I have read some reviews and many people have a lot of ignorance. I do not know any of these workers, but I know they work like crazy because they are extremely short staffed. Cvs needs to hire more people! It’s wrong for CVS not hire people/quality people I know it’s slim pickings, especially nowadays, it’s actually pathetic. Bottom line CVS needs to hire more people for the current staff to not be as stressed out to process our orders, especially in the pharmacy area. Too many companies are getting extra money from the government because they are short staff and it’s incredibly sad. And short staffed because companies are not employing people, fact! The only reason I am giving four stars is because the current staff bust their tail doing their work along with dealing with many annoying people most of the time.

This location is a waste of time. I wanted to drive thru for convenience, but the last few times there was a sign saying I had to go in.
When I first switched to this pharmacy a few months ago they had the rudest pharmacist I’ve ever had to encounter. I thought maybe he is just having a bad day. No. It was every single time for weeks. I even called and spoke to a manager about them because it happened a few different times and each time his attitude made me feel like I was asking him to do the impossible for me and I was stupid for doing so. I hadn’t seen that person recently so I was comfortable again going back in, but it has still been awful. Under staffed sure, but no excuse for the last couple of days. I can’t even get my prescription. They messed up my kids prescription and my husband had to be there for half an hour to get it all sorted. If they aren’t closed randomly, there’s no one to help you unless you wait, wait, wait, and wait some more. Today however I am officially done trying with them. They had 3 people working. Two of them were dealing with someones issue while the other lady ignored the line inside. I say ignored because we are all waiting inside line for pick up. No one says anything to any of us. A car pulls up in the drive thru line and she goes to them right away. After seeing that, I left. I am getting my prescription transferred. I am done feeling like I am just an inconvenience to their business.

    Poor customer service!!
Took my mother into CVS because She was having an allergic reaction to some make up she put on her eyes. She already takes medication that makes you drowsy so we needed to ask about that and Benadryl. At this point her eyes are swollen shut and they’re burning. we asked to speak to the pharmacist who is vacuuming, we waited and we’re polite. We got tired of waiting so we wondered off looking at other things came back and she stopped vacuuming to answer the phone. There were two people working. They were very rude. You will not get far with them. There were two people working. They were very rude.

If it was possible to give them a zero I would. This pharmacy has the most incompetent staff I have ever dealt with. I have pulled all my medications but the one because it is controlled and was told they where unable to transfer it. The pharmacy 1st does not ever answer their phone. If you do drive thru you need to be prepared to sit their for 20-40 minutes every time. Today I was told they could not bill my secondary insurance, it was my responsibility to pay for it then put in for a refund. When I called the insurance company they told me thay only the pharmacy can send in for payment. So I was put on hold while they tried to call them, like usual they never answered their phone. This is truly the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They honestly do not know what they are doing. Trust me when I say find any other pharmacy but gulf beach hwy cvs.

Just left the store attempting to load my Walmart card with money. This transaction has been preformed on numerous occasions. I have a CVS pharmacy literally across the street, located on Fairfield & Lillian… never had a problem.

On the contrary, the cashier at this store on Gulf Beach highway informed me that his register sometimes doesn’t work properly (loading money onto a card).

So I requested for manager assistance. The manager started to explain why the card may not be loading and I asked if she could try it again while she was explaining, because I was pressed for time. Her eyes begin to bulge (like she took offense to it) and then proceeded to ask her employee to try it again.

However I asked specifically if she could try it this time, and then she said, “does it matter who tries it?”
SMH… Poor customer service skills and very unprofessional as a leader I might add… especially as someone in a managerial position.

One Star is being nice this Pharmacy is by far the worst Pharmacy I’ve EVER had to come across. Extremely slow, they hardly want to answer the phone and if they do it’s a 10 minute wait for anyone to even answer

Pharmacy is slammed all the time but they are kind and helpful. I moved to the CVS in target so I can do other shopping while I wait.

I waiting the drive-through line for 20 minutes before 9 o’clock and it said that they were supposed to be open until nine and they closed early for whatever reason. If they close earlier than 9 o’clock on a Monday, then they need to update their hours.

Horrible pharmacy. They never answer the phone and are always busy and rude like they’ve had a bad day. If they weren’t the only pharmacy that keeps my medication in stock I would go back to Walgreens

All the employees, from the pharmacy, to the check out are nice. I’ve been going to this particular CVS for the last 6yrs and have had very few problems with them having my meds in stock and they ALWAYS apply the best prescription card they have to give me the cheapest price, because I don’t have insurance.

Brought relative here for 3rd Covid booster. We made an appoint. Arrived 10 minutes early and she said there were 2 walk ins ahead of us. Why even make an appointment? I walked around store. Shelves were sparse with merchandise. Looks like they may be closing or something. Not too clean either. Would not recommend this CVS.
