I came to this location to pick up some money via money gram. I walked here in the cold and waited for my confirmation code. The manager was very rude and refused to do the transaction because she said she wasnt doing it unless I spent the money there. I was planning on buying a few things but I needed the money for groceries and necessities that would be cheaper elsewhere. She was very rude. She said it was to close to the time moneygram stops (8pm) however it wasnt 8 o clock yet. I ended up having to walk another hour to the nearest money gram location in the cold on a dangerous road. Very unprofessional and I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere from now on.By Brittany pierce (5 years ago)Worst customer service this cvs pharmacy again and again. Male pharmacist seems incompetent. After the third time not getting np thyroid filled despite having requested it a week before I went to another pharmacy. I suggested at cvs he contact doctor to fill for whatever natural thyroid med they can get. He told me they could get it but have to do special request which apparently none of the staff know about. He said it just started but it was the third month I had requested np thyroid fill and several days later I would go to pick it up only to find out they didn’t have in stock and had not ordered it. I went to Gulf pharmacy and the pharmacist stated there was a shortage on np thyroid, but that armour thyroid which is same type of med was available. This pharmacist did what I had suggested to the cvs pharmacist. I really pray for another pharmacy to open in the area.By William Huff (a year ago)I understand the law as to if someone is picking up a controlled substance prescription you must show ID no matter what I totally agree with that 100% BUT if it is somebody who has been filling the same prescription at the same pharmacy for AT LEAST 6 years+++ and 99.9999% of the time the same pharmacy staff are who wait on you and know exactly who you are without a shadow of a doubt their shouldnt be a problem if that person forgets to bring a ID to pick up the prescription. I’m talking about a elderly family member of mine who has had throat cancer and when you see someone who has had to go through that you dont forget who they are. I’m not talking opiates or benzodiazepines or barbiturates nothing like that. This was a nerve medication prescribed to help with problems in the back and lower leg parts of the body. There is no high or buzz that comes along with the medication but for whatever reason it has been labeled as a controlled substance by the FDA. I just feel like it is a medication that can be and is being abused in society then ok yes definitely ask for ID NO MATTER WHAT but if it’s a regular “pharmacy patient” and you fill the same prescription every month, 12 months a year and you say I cant fill it without ID that’s a super big load of BS. I know I told my family member that if it was me and I was in the same condition and they knew how i had somewhat of a hard time getting around and gave me the runaround about ID and not fill the prescription I would change everything over to a different pharmacy and never go back. The store employees have all ways been polite and helpful with me. The Pharmacy can get busy though. They have “OK” pricing on most stuff, but they usually have a lot of coupons or sales going on the balance the prices.
This CVS is a life saver! I came here for vacation (stayed at adventures on the gorge) and this pharmacy is 10 minutes away. I left my medication at home and was freaking out. I called my doctor’s office and they were able to send a prescription to this CVS. The pharmacy staff here were very friendly, processed my prescription quickly and gave me a discount on it. Thank you thank you!
My 8 month old has a terrible ear infection. Prescription was called in at 10am after leaving the doctor. When I called CVS from the parking lot of the doctor they told me it would take an hour. Finally at 12:45pm they told me it was ready but they just needed insurance. I showed up immediately as my baby is in a ton of pain and just needs the antibiotics. I get here and they tell me it’s not ready, pharmacist said it would take 20 minutes. I come back around 20 minutes later and they tell me it will be another 15. 45 minutes later and I’m still here with a distressed baby still waiting. I get you are busy CVS but no one should be told 20 minutes, then another 15 minutes and then still waiting 45 minutes later with a crying baby. Do better, if it’s going to take over almost 5 hours just be up front about that. Everyone that works here is always very nice, but when you have a very upset eight-month-old in the backseat and are told youre going to have to wait over and over again that’s rough.
Always a decent experience. Sometimes you gotta be patient you can’t snap your fingers and your prescriptions going to be ready. They do get busy and get backed up. They are always nice to me when I go there and that’s why I don’t use anyone else.
I was able to get two jumbo packs of Huggies diapers, a coloring/activity book and an egg with a treat/toy all for under $10 using my CVS rewards bucks and coupons. I love getting diapers there. The people that work in there are really nice too.
