Prescription wasn’t covered and the staff was able to find a prescription card to cover almost all of the cost without me having to worry about a thing! Everything is always done in record time and staff is super helpful and pleasant. So happy I changed from walgreens to CVS.By Angela B (4 months ago)Brutal. I don’t blame the employees. They appear completely understaffed and overwhelmed. CVS corporate should be ashamed of the position they put this staff in. People like Hannah deserve far better working conditions. It doesn’t appear to be a problem with just this location or even this company. CVS and Walgreens pharmacies tend to get horrible reviews all over the Twin Cities.By Scott Stallman (4 months ago)Hannah and her staff in the pharmacy are phenomenal! I can’t say enough good things about each and everyone of them. We had a hard time finding a pharmacy that had an antibiotic in stock and they were the only one in Minnesota with it. Our insurance didn’t want to cover it and they all worked diligently to not only get the prescription transferred from Walgreens but also get it covered by our insurance all before they closed for the evening. They worked all the next day getting our insurance to cover the antibiotic and they reimbursed me! They care! While I waited with my two year old they fed us snacks and chatted and were so good to us! They are FANTASTIC!!!By Stephanie Landin (3 months ago)Huge shout out to the pharmacy group that helped get my husband’s vehicle unstuck today! He was visiting the MinuteClinic and with this big dumping of snow, his vehicle couldn’t handle the entrance. They went above and beyond. I wish I would have gotten their names to call them out personally! I will be calling a manager tomorrow to give them verbal praise too.By Jordan Tucker (2 months ago)Went yesterday and today to help get a rush prescription filled for my son. Hannah and Jack could not have been more helpful, patient and even funny.
Answered all my questions and easily 5 stars. I was in the waiting area for around 30 minutes and saw them and others on the team interact with other customers and they were friendly and helpful to all.
Well done and I will be back!

We purchased diabetic blood sugar testing needles but accidentally forgot them on the counter. When we called to see if they were found, we were told that they did indeed have them. They told us they were closing in 5 minutes at 6:00, so we left to go to the store. We were on the phone with the pharmacy letting them know that we were on the way, but he wouldn’t assist with allowing us to pick them up. We drove into the parking at at 6:01. There were employees and customers still in the store, but the doors were locked. He wouldn’t even consider waiting the extra 2 minutes to help us knowing our situation— These needles were purchased to bring to my elderly brittle diabetic father who is out of the country on vacation, as we are flying tomorrow to meet up with him. Now, he will not have enough needles for his trip. I would have hoped that a pharmacy could have been more empathetic with our situation. He was so rude and apathetic, trying to have us search for a 24 hour pharmacy to get more needles (even though he knew we had already purchased the ones we left on the counter 10 minutes earlier.) We were in the parking lot 1 minute after we finished our phone call and yet no help at all.
We will not be coming to this pharmacy ever again. Could not be more disappointed in their lack of customer service and care.By J A (2 months ago)Absolutely the worst experience. I purchased a Rogaine, 2 days ago, which is behind the case, so cashier had to get it. Unfortunately, I did not realize it was for men, until last night. Today, I tried to exchange it for the women’s, nope, they wouldn’t do an even exchange, as the sale ended yesterday. I was firm, did not raise my voice, nor swear, and was told by an employee to check my attitude. I will never go back to cvs. Absolutely the worstBy Carley Ann (3 weeks ago)For the past several months, I have been getting my prescriptions filled at this location. Last time I called the pharmacy after getting off the phone with my doctor regarding muscle relaxers for my back. They said it should be ready before the end of the day (was already around 4pm). Within 20 minutes, I received a text saying that the medication was ready to be picked up. Every visit outside of that, I have also had great experiences with the pharmacy staff. Haven’t had any issues thus far.By Eric Baltutis (11 months ago)I’ve been going to this pharmacy for a year, and I haven’t had a negative experience yet. The pharmacy staff has always been very kind and efficient. The pharmacist is extremely helpful and sat on hold for a solid chunk of time to help figure out an issue with my insurance coverage. After surgery, they got my pain meds and another prescription filled in around 15 minutes. I haven’t had issues with calling the pharmacy either. Maybe a bit of hold time here and there, but I’ve never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time. No issues with the rest of the store, either. The cashiers are kind, and I’ve had pleasant chit chat with some of them while checking out. The store is typically clean, organized, and as stocked as any place is these days.By C (8 months ago)I had to come in three separate times and have my provider call them twice for them to fill a prescription that should have been ready when I got there the first time. The third and final time I went to get my script I was waiting in their waiting area for about 20 minutes, they told me it would be 10-15, until I decided to get back in line and check what was happening. I got to the front of the line and the cashier grabbed it from the box literally labelled “call out patient’s name, they are waiting”…. No one called my name. They also don’t save your insurance information unless you tell them to. I’ve never had a pharmacy be so grossly incompetent.By Brian Shaw (12 months ago)

That’s it for our list of the best CVS in Minneapolis! If you have any arguments or additional information, please leave a comment. We love to hear from our readers too!
Store used to be great. Then I ordered delivery through the pharmacy on the phone. I confirmed the address with the man I spoke with. It was still sent to the wrong address. It took hours to get this resolved and he made sure to continue to make the point that it was my fault. Even though my profile even had the correct address on the website and I had successfully had medication delivered about a month or two prior to this. I wrote it off as a bad experience and decided to try again as I have a hard time getting around due to disability. I have now been on hold for over 15 minutes trying to figure out where my medication is as they charged me for it, sent no information, and when I try to order it online it wants to charge me again. Hate this CVS and will never use it again after I get this most recent screw up of theirs taken care of.
don’t think i’ve ever written a bad review in my life and the majority of employees here are great. but one cashier scrolls through their phone while customers are waiting. i wouldn’t say anything if it didn’t happen every single time i’m in this cashier’s line. tonight i needed medical supplies for a minor injury and it took me saying “the card machine hasn’t changed” about ten times for the cashier to hit the button on the computer. staring at their phone, with airpods in ears, whether it’s three hours or three minutes to close. i like the little candles they sell for my bathroom.
I left and went somewhere else. The door by the parking lot was locked! Sign said I would have to walk to the corner inorder to get in. Just never mind! I went somewhere else. Good for people riding the bus I guess. But not handicapped or low mobility people that drive. 🤔
I was assisted, nay, SAVED — by Pharmacist Jessica today. There was a debacle with my insurance, because unbeknownst is to me my insurance coverage had been terminated. Jessica worked with me and found MULTIPLE solutions and options for me. I have never felt more patience and kindness from anyone at a pharmacy or at anywhere at that. Also! All of this was done while she assisted her coworkers with practically everything. She is extremely knowledgeable and I am truly thankful our paths crossed today. Thank you so much Jessica!
Just went to the drive through pharmacy and had some questions as there was an issue with my medication. The pharmacist at the window whipped off her headset in the middle of me talking so she couldn’t hear me anymore. The second pharmacist was much more professional. If you can’t handle yourself professionally when someone is asking questions about the medication that is vital to their livelihood, pick a different job. And it’s 2 hours before closing so it’s not like I was holding her up from leaving.
