Had a good experience at the CVS at third and Fairfax. I was seen at the Cedars-Sinai Urgent Care and they sent my prescription to the CVS.
CVS sent me a text saying that my prescription would be ready in 2 and a half hours, but they would do it quicker if I needed them to do that.
I texted back that I did, because I expected to start feeling better soon after the first dose. That worked. The prescription was ready as soon as I showed up. I took the first pill as soon as I got home, and I’m starting to feel better already.

A simple apology when a system is not working would suffice, instead of belittling comments and a pervasive negative attitude. I believe the managers name is Angie. The pharmacist, Jenny, is always so kind and helpful. She truly makes life easier by happily helping me with my prescriptions. No matter what time of day or night, Jenny gives me her all. I appreciate this beyond words. Jennifer is another very kind pharmacist that helps me as well. Today Josephine and Daniel assisted me on the phone and through my check out. They always remember my name and greet me with the warmest smiles! The entire staff at this CVS pharmacy location is second to none!! They go above and beyond! I have NO IDEA why this store has a low star rating. I made a point to spend some time(45 mind) talking to many of the staff and asking questions.
The staff at this location were SUPER FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE and HELPFUL.
I had the pleasure of meeting Angie(assistant store manager) who helped me to find what I was looking for and joined me in some fun conversation along the way! The store is SUPER CLEAN and well stocked. Lots of Christmas decor, gifts and confection. They have a photo section, where you can print your photos and gift cards for every occasion. I’ve been shopping at this CVS with my boyfriend for almost 10 years, as there’s no other convenience stores in the area after they took out our local Walmart. The staff are SO unbelievably friendly and i have no complaints about the store itself. HOWEVER the security guards they hire are extremely prejudice. My boyfriend was followed around the store TWICE recently by a black security guard who accused him of stealing “cat food”. My boyfriend is white but has tattoos so the security guard verbally stated he “looks suspicious” because of them. IF THIS WAS THE OTHER WAY AROUND WE WOULD HAVE A RACE CASE BUT NOPE! We left the store after the second time of this happening and contacted the manager which they stated they can’t do anything because they go through a separate company they go through. ALSO! this isn’t even the FIRST security guard that this has happened with.
We have money lmao we don’t need to be stealing a $2 can of cat food. I used to shop here for all my drugstore beauty products, cleaning products and non-perishable groceries but safe to say after this being a repeat experience and cvs not doing anything about it, we’re never coming back.

Not only are they open 24/7, at a undesirable location and in constant chaos from fellow neighbors but they always are happy to help you with anything. Always pleasant. Located on the corner of Wilshire & Oxford Ave. The parking lot entrance is on Oxford and free for patrons. Heavy traffic between 2:30pm to 6:30pm Mon-Fri, so expect delays. In the vicinity you’ll find a Chase, Ralph’s, Denny’s, Wiltern Theater, 24 Hour Fitness, Wells Fargo, Bank of America ATM, Library, small restaurants, cafes, and a metro station. The problem with this store is basically the competence level of the employees, so if you need information or assistance in regards to in-store cash, CVS Bucks, promotions, rebates or coupons, I’d recommend researching it online, calling a friend or using your lifeline prior to arriving. This store should put up a giant billboard that says, “For all inquiries, contact the vendor or merchant because we don’t know”. Finding an associate on the sales floor is kind of like joining a 3-player championship game of hide and seek since the majority are at registers. But even with three cashiers and a supervisor at self checkout, you’ll still wait long enough to finish a short novel, crossword puzzle or clipping half of your toenails. Another thing you’ll notice throughout the store is the unattended shopping carts being used by the store filled with products being stocked or trash. Some of the cashiers at this location are about as useful as handles on a snowball or an ashtray on a motorcycle with some supervisors being a few sandwiches short of a picnic and not adequately trained to properly assist guests. Overall, poor customer service, decent prices, below average store cleanliness, long checkout times, good location, numerous products out of stock, and ineffective management which results a rating of 2 stars.
Sales associate was more focused on her phone than me. At the check out counter, no greeting, no question if i found what i was looking for. No thank you for my patronage. She couldn’t let go of her phone. Not engaged at all!
My husband is constantly followed and harassed every time he goes to shop by various employees. He’s been shopping there regularly over the past 2 years and they still can’t figure out that he’s a paying customer. His solution: follow closely behind them around the store and watch as they grow more and more uncomfortable. They really don’t like a taste of their own medicine.
I left my car for 20 minutes and went to the store. When I returned my car was towed to a fine parking lot. I do not recommend this place to visit
I went to the cash register and was rudely told to use a self-service station as if the cashier didn’t want to deal with me. Felt completely dehumanizing.
