  1. CVS is still the pharmacy to go to if you live in the neighborhood. The people are very well mannered and take time if helping you personally. I haven’t met and employee yet I’ve had problems with. All of them we get along well and they go above and beyond to help me. I love this CVS for over 10 years they have been very helpful to me and my family. I recommend you shop here at leat once.

  2. Obviously everywhere is short staffed right now. I’ve worked in customer service. I get it.

That said, there is 0 planning and organization being done here by management for staff. The pharmacy is overrun constantly, which means the phones? Never get answered. I truly mean never, I’ve been trying over an hour this morning and was just on hold. I tried calling back and their service would “transfer” me to the pharmacy, just to go silent or hang up.

You need organization. Help X people in line, then answer X phones. Period. If people in front of you have to wait a minute, so be it, otherwise you’re never going to get to phones and everyone showing up in the store is going to be someone who’d been on hold over an hour now forced to show up in person to ask every asinine questions they have – which COULD have taken 5 minutes or so on the phone, but is now holding up the line in-store even longer.

All because you super intelligent humans can’t figure out how to stagger patients.

I doubt this comes as a surprise to literally anyone, but yeah. If you’re actually reading reviews to see if this place is worth it as a pharmacy, don’t bother. It’ll probably be fine to use as a drug store, just run in and grab some OTC stuff and leave – but as an actual pharmacy? They have no idea what they’re doing.

  3. My mother has diabetes and has had to call the pharmacy to refill her subscription and on numerous occasions they had us waiting on the line for over an hour. When calling the general store, sometimes the employees will have to let the pharmacy know that we are on the line but most times they are of no help and they don’t even try to be. I frequent the store a lot and I know for a fact that they are not as busy as they try to make it seem. Employees are often slacking off as if they don’t want to be there. I would not recommend this location. 0/10.

  4. Leaving one star because there is not a zero star listed. I had a free item up to $10.00 off coupon on my card. I purchased 3 items. $8.99, $3.89 and $1.49. When everything was totaled I only received the $1.49 item for free. When I told the cashier the dollar value she said that I already had the free item. I then told her I wanted the free item to be the $8.99 item. We went back and forth for several minutes until I finally asked for a manager. After calling the manager I stood there and waited another several minutes. After the manager arrived I showed her my phone with the coupon on the website and my email and she proceeded to take my phone and start scrolling through my phone for another 2 to 3 minutes. While all of this was going on I asked at least 4 or 5 times to cancel my order and ring up the $8.99 item by itself so I could get that free instead of the $1.49 item. This process took at least 20 minutes while there were at least 8 to 10 customers in line behind me and no other cashier. Management and employees need to be retrained in customer relations because all that could have been avoided if they had just rung up the $8.99 item separate when I asked the very first time.

  5. There’s no option for zero stars. Maybe these guys can do pharmacology, but they’re incompetent at answering a phone. If your MO for the business is that you’re never going to answer phone calls, or that you’ll hang up on customers who’ve been on the same psychosis-inducing hold music on loop for 35 minutes, then just don’t have a phone.

On your website, write “Hey guys! You’re going to have to drive here, because we at this CVS don’t believe in phone calls, and efficiency isn’t part of our belief system. We get paid salary regardless. These are our values. Customer service? Who’s that? Anyway, gotta go, we left our enthusiasm back at Butler pharmacy school.”

The above blurb will save a lot of heartache for patients who don’t know they’re committing a grave error in calling a phone that will perpetually ring in vain, at the expense of their zest for life. Sad!

P.S. This CVS sells Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. I recommend the chocolate fudge brownie flavor with chocolate chunks.

    Cheers.

Well they have disinformation on their hours for the pharmacy. The wait times on hold are unprecedented, and the pharmacy staff are often rude and short tempered. It’s like none of them ever worked in customer service before.

Staff LOW, Even at Checkout, Pharmacy WORST, EVER, Prices Too High on EVERYTHING!! CVS Charges ALOT While Offering/Giving VERY LITTLE!!!

I have empathy and understanding for the pharmacy team as they appear to be severely understaffed, overworked and unable to efficiently and quickly service all of the pharmacy requests on their plate. We’ve encountered issues now three times over the last month for prescription for our pets — written prescriptions not being put in but left on a clipboard for days at a time, no text messages about completed prescriptions, have been sent home with two incorrect prescriptions and the phone line either keeps us on hold for 30+ minutes or fails to ever connect asking for a lab extension code before disconnecting.

CVS corporate really needs to step up and take care of their teams and patients they serve. I’ve witnessed team members getting yelled at, cursed at and demeaned simply because they don’t have the resources in place to do their jobs they way they want and yet the team is still respectful, kind and doing their best to help. A call center, temporary/locum staff needs to be put in place because this company is failing patients who need their medicine in a timely manner.

This CVS pharmacy breaks my heart. I know they are understaffed and serving a huge area so I sympathize. Regardless, I have NEVER been able to get anyone on the phone, and I’ve waited on hold for over 30 minutes in desperation many times. If you have a medication that is frequently out of stock, do NOT have your RX sent to this store. You will have no way of canceling your order (should you want to transfer the RX to a different store) short of going into the pharmacy yourself. And most insurance companies (like mine) will not let you place an order for the same RX at a new pharmacy while another location has your order “on hold” or “in process.” Just avoid this location at all costs. This one is on corporate.

I’ve been having an issue with a prior authorization for multiple weeks. I was at a different store then I usually fill today but I asked about the medication to see what was going on with it and the woman working the counter was the rudest person I’ve ever experienced in “customer service”, or in this case, lack their of. Her name was Meghan and she was mean, short, rude, kept saying “well it’s not my store so I can’t help”. All I wanted was some info on what I should do from here but from the start of our conversation she was completely rude and didn’t try to help me one bit. It’s like i annoyed her by just asking a question. I’ve gotten my prescription filled here for years. This will be the last time. I’ll pay more to never have to see or deal with her again. This person shouldn’t have a job in customer service!

Had a bad experience with the Pharmacy drive-thru last week and again today, very rude/disrespectful. Will be changing locations.

Very disappointed with this location regarding their hours. I originally transferred my prescription needs to CVS when this was a 24 hour pharmacy. Of course that ended some time back. But they were still a 24 hour store which met some of my needs. Now they are neither. So since their prices are high and they aren’t open in the morning before work I think I will look for a better option.

The pharmacy staff is extremely rude and for that reason, I will never step foot in the store again
