  1. I received the third round of COVID vaccine at the CVS pharmacy on Whitesburg last night and it went very smoothly. There was no wait time, the vaccine booth was private, and the nurse was extremely kind, gentle, and knowledgeable.

If you have been hesitant to get your booster from a retail pharmacy (as opposed to your doctor’s office or the hospital), I would certainly recommend talking to a vaccine provider here who can address your concerns. This vaccine experience was far less hectic and time consuming than my previous two shots.

  2. Horrible. Just horrible customer service. Dropped off a prescription, they gave me a time to return to pick it up, was not ready so they asked me to drive around to let the customers behind me get their prescriptions. That’s fine, I understand. When I got back to the window, they asked me to drive around again because the prescription was still not yet ready. I told them that they gave me a time to return and the young lady was very rude. You’re lucky my employer basically requires me to use CVS and you need to work on your customer service. I will drive across town to use a different CVS from now on.

  3. Had to start using CVS because of our insurance TriCare. The ladies that have waited on me are not friendly at all and the questions I asked her she did not give me an answer. Most of our prescriptions are higher than they are from where we did get them. Asked if they filed with all three of our insurances she did not have an answer. One thing I do like is we get three months supply instead of of one month. Will stay with them hopefully things will get better.Other thing it takes awhile to pick up prescriptions always a line. Will try to talk to someone next time I am in there to get some answers

  4. Terrible pharmacy. They sent me notification that my medication would be there 3 days before I came down to get it. I trusted the message. Got to the pharmacy and they have no idea when my medication will be there. Then they expected me to hunt CVS’s around time to find it. The person behind the counter didn’t even seem to care or have a concern in the world about the medication not being available.

    Terrible service.
We called ahead to verify we could get passport photos. On the CVS site they claim to know how to take and process said photos.
The whole ordeal in the store took almost an hour and we eventually left without purchasing the low quality photos.
First, the woman behind the counter took some slapdash photos with a poorly cropped background. She then struggled to use the technology to correct said photos. At a point when I mentioned how my photo may not pass the standards, she started to get an attitude and implied I didn’t know better than her… I work with photography all day and have had a passport since childhood. I know what’s needed and a poorly cropped, blurry photo isn’t it. We have to get new passports in a hurry — we don’t have time to keep coming back to redo photos that were taken so poorly to begin with. And to be talked about poorly to another worker, and to have her complain that I expected a certain standard was disgusting.
I’ll note that during all of this, her coworker came up to the counter, they snapped at each other, then she proceeded to give the middle finger to him right in front of us.
We requested someone else take the photos (since she clearly didn’t know what she was doing). The other associate came over, took one picture of us each, and proceeded to print them out without checking at all that they’d pass standards. He told us to wait for them to print (didn’t package them, just walked off) then to go to the now abandoned counter and pay. When they printed, I saw immediately that they would not pass standards, as I’d tried to tell them. We went to the counter and waited so I could explain the photos weren’t acceptable. The original employee saw us waiting, then darted down an aisle. We left the useless photos behind and exited the store.
We went across the street to Walgrees and had proper images done in a matter of ten minutes. Color corrected and a perfect background.
DO NOT use CVS for any photo needs! They don’t care and won’t do a good job, but they’ll charge you all the same.

I went to CVS to pick up a drug prescription and to get some vaccine shots. Three vaccine shots were due and I asked the pharmacy person (a nurse, I suppose) whether I should have them all at once or space them out. She said I could have them all at once. No problem. My arms would be a little sore for a while, that’s all. She gave me two shots on my left arm and one on my right arm, mid afternoon. By bed time, my left arm was so sore I couldn’t lift it and the right arm was pretty sore too. I could not sleep on either side, had to sleep on my back. Or rather, try to sleep. I slept very little that night. The next morning I still couldn’t raise my left arm. I couldn’t drive until late that afternoon, and that painfully. So much for “a little sore.”

The drug prescription was the same as I had filled a month before at a different pharmacy but the pills were almost twice as large, hard to swallow. Why? Does anyone like swallowing horse pills?

There is a pharmacy across the road from CVS. I’ll try that one next time.

Never have hrs of operation posted on drive thru. Nor do they send notifications or text that your Rxs are ready on the meds you need, but they send them for the ones less important or regarding things I am more than educated enough to know, like recommendations on watching a video about my medications and time for vaccines, i am a nurse and i get my vaccines through my employer why would i get a shot from the same place that can’t get my medications to me. I have had to go up there three times in 24 hrs. Not how I like to spend my one day off. If I could give a zero I’d give 5 of them.

Like all CVS’s the poor staff has to deal with a nightmare computer and phone system. If you call the pharmacy, you have to listen to that stroke inducing narrator telling you about all of the vaccines and get caught in automated phone limbo.

I don’t shop at this particular location often, I actually haven’t shopped much with CVS at all. I find their pricing a bit high for my level of acceptance to be honest. I did recently download their app when I was directed to a sale item I wanted. Now, with using the reward app, I have come across a couple of items that are more reasonably priced, to which I purchased. Hoping to find more of those in the future and possibly become a regular shopper, time will tell!

Super nice staff. Hats off to the Pharmacy Manager. Fast Drive Thru. My issue was CVS Corporate. Online allowed me to make covid test appointment, but in actuality, their system has been offline for sometime, and as such they are not doing tests. CVS system is rotten and needs updating…as I wasted time and gas to not get what I hoped to get.

I’d give 0 if it was allowed. I have been using this pharmacy for YEARS! Loved the previous pharmacist and pharmacy techs. I’m not sure who decided to make a change but it definitely has not been for the best! I’ve never seen lines wrapped around the building like I have in the last few months. Meds are always out and can’t fill entire script. They never get call in scripts in a timely manner. I was trying to get my script before going out of the country. Needed prior authorization and my doctor’s office made it happen no issues. Received call from pharmacist that they didn’t have enough to fill script and couldn’t do a partial order. Waited until I couldn’t do anything about it but script was called in early that morning. So I’m out of the country without my meds . WOW, no line….went to drop something off today and waited 10 minutes or. I pushed the call button and looked to make sure they were there. Oh yes, they were in there but no one came to the window or came on the speaker. That was the last straw for me b/c it keeps getting worse. I requested my scripts be switched to Publix. Script was droop off and ready in no time with pleasant workers. My time, feelings and money all matter to me.

Scheduled two COVID vaccine appointments for my children. Arrive and wait 10 minutes to be helped. After waiting another 10 minutes the pharmacy tech comes out and asks for the vaccine cards. I tell her I don’t have them and she starts saying she cant give my children the vaccine without their cards. Then she says she can but we’ll have to wait “a really long time” because she’ll have to look up their past vaccines up in the computer and it’ll be a “really long wait”. Then she adds on, that even after she gets the vaccine info, she’ll have to have someone else make the vaccine because its not even ready. So if I wanted to wait a long time she’d do it or I could come back later. I didn’t have time to wait the “really long time” she kept emphasizing, so I left.
Only to get an email an hour later stating one of my kids vaccine records were updated to reflect she had given him the vaccine!? So I called to ask why false information would be entered into the system and (the same lady) responds “well just come back because I already put in the system that I gave it to him”. I said “No, I SCHEDULED an appointment for a reason, I’m not able to come back today and I’ve already rescheduled them for another day”. This lady was unprofessional and lazy. I’m pretty sure entering false or inaccurate information in someone medical/vaccine files is a punishable offense by their employer. I will never so business with this particular CVS because of her.

Porsche went out of her way to help me get my meds quickly for my daughter !! Not only that, she helped me with savings because it wasn’t covered by insurance! Thank you!

This store has went downhill since the new manager took over. An employee would not accept my return with a VALID and IN DATE receipt. She called the manager on her cellphone right in front of me and told me that the manager said that she would not accept my return. This store is so trashy.
