Went here after leaving the hospital. I badly needed the recommended medicine for my child. I drove up at 9:51 p.m., by the time I got out the car it was 9:52. I walked to the door and realized the lights were already off. The manager just stared at me as if I was wrong for showing up 8 minutes before they close. They close at 10:00 not at 9:50. I noticed however, that she was the only employee I could find in the entire store and she was extremely busy trying to take care of customers by herself. She was running both registers and the self checkouts as well as answering phones and helping customers with photos. Does no one else work here? I honestly felt bad that she had no help, and requested to speak with the manager, but when she called I waited around 10 minutes and could no longer wait because I was now late for an appointment, so I left. I’m not sure who is in charge scheduling, but this needs to be addressed. The employee was doing her absolute best to help everyone as quickly as she could, but people were visibly upset. Employees should not have to deal with this and neither should the customers. This is my only complaint, but I do hope it gets addressed. This young lady deserves a raise. Having worked for Cvs for seven years as a specialty pharmacy account executive I know firsthand how bad this company is. This location is particularly horrible. The pharmacist could care less if there’s a problem. There are three pharmacy techs who Are completely unhelpful. Perhaps it’s because they’re overworked or maybe they just don’t care like the pharmacist. The front and manager is obnoxious as well. Having left the Cvs Organization a few years ago I warn anybody to stay away. I just moved to Fort Myers and thought maybe things would be different here. They’re not. Find a local independent pharmacy who cares about peoples health and their experience. Again this is a rotten rotten store in the few months that I’ve been here I’ve had a problem almost every time I’ve gone there. Most recent problem was today where I had an appointment for a flu shot and a covid injection. The Pharmacy opens at 9 and my appointment was for 10:00. Got there a little early at 9:40 so I sat in the car for a bit then when in about 10 mins. till 10:00. The pharmacy was closed! Though I knew it should be open I asked the cashier up front why it was closed and she said I don’t know and that no one called to let them know why it was closed. I figure I wait until 5 minutes past 10 and if it was still closed I would leave. At 10:00 exactly the pharmacist arrived. I said to her I’m glad you are here because of my appointment for 10:00 getting the flu shot, and covid injection. She said that I am sorry but we have no covid injections available. Now that really got my blood going. They were late as it was and after making the appointment over a week ago and waiting for them open she says there is no covid injection she can give me. Well obviously I walked out. Was so upsetting that I decided that this was the nail in the coffin and would now begin to look for an alternative place for my shots and medications. I have my FPL vest on, I entered to this CVS, bought woman personal care products and asked for using the bathroom. A rude lady told me, no. I asked for the manager and he came out and told me to go to a portal potty on the back… He was more rude than her, his actitud, he didn’t even let me talk.

Came to this CVS for my flu shot. Poor Pharmacist seemed to be doing laps around the building keeping up with all his task. I’ve worked retail, and I know the feeling.
The pharmacist and assitants behind the counter were pleasant, just a bit understaffed I’d say.
The negative reviews listed here are surprising and force me to speak up.
I have used this pharmacy for over twelve years for myself and five other family members.
They are, above and beyond, the best corporate pharmacy I have used in this area. They are extremely busy and still have the time to fill our prescriptions in a timely manner.
Covid testing and vaccinations at this site were daily during the pandemic and they did an outstanding job juggling it all.
The pharmacy assistants are always helpful, thorough and polite. Always, even though they are completely slammed with work.
The Pharmacist has gone above and beyond fielding questions and discussing concerns.
My only issue: a medication being out of stock and I have to send that scrip to a different pharmacy that does not have supply issues. It’s an old corporate issue and does not reflect badly on this store. I simply send those to a big chain store. The rest I keep here because of service and convenience.

I used to go to the cvs on Lee blvd and homestead because it was open 24 hrs and I work at night, but they were slower at filling my prescriptions, even taking 3 weeks for lexapro! This cvs on 82 is 1000x better. Shorter waits, the staff is always nice, and my prescriptions are filled quickly!
I was notified via text that my prescription was ready, waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes, when it was finally my turn I was told very rudely iT wasn’t ready and I had to go around.
No respect or caring.
Absolutely asinine that the pharmacy is closed at six on a Saturday. That’s the most garbage thing I’ve ever seen. Why would you close before people are actually done doing what they need for the day?!!!!! People get sick at random times and rely on the meds sometimes. Absolute trash.
