This is a awesome pharmacy. I stopped by twice with questions before switching pharmacies, they were helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Plus they deliver for us elderly.. My wife has been using this pharmacy for years and nothing has changed. I refuse to use this pharmacy for myself but still have to deal with them for my wife. I have been encouraging her to switch to a different CVS because it’s just this location. They are slow, inaccurate, inconsiderate, and have no regard for patient care. Then the full time pharmacist left, and everything went downhill. He was replaced with a female pharmacist, who went on maternity leave.
Replacing staff are terrible! I came home from hospital and was told by pharmacy they needed over 2 hours to fill Rx, and then would close. I had to take my Rx elsewhere, even when CVS knew I was in pain.
Store manager gives you a CVS complaint phone #, rather than handling himself.
Inside the store, only the drive through window clerk is working. The 3 employees in Pharmacy are non-productive, socializing while check in windows are blocked with in processed work. Very disgusting .By Catherine Rice (2 months ago)I would give zero if I could. Had major shoulder surgery and the pharmacy was dishonest about when I would be able to pick up my pain meds. They said 11:00am the next day. That means I would have had to go without any narcotics for over 24 hours after surgery. Around 5:00am I couldn’t stand it anymore and went to the ER for pain management. I called back as soon as they opened to ensure I would be able to pick them up at 11:00am. At this point the Pharmacy Tech told me they didn’t have any and that I was SOL. Ended up back in the ER where I was given a paper script and got my meds from the CVS on Grand River. Note that I started having blurry vision and a raspy voice due to the high levels of pain I was in.By itsashleyirl (a year ago)I am not happy with the Pharmacist. One pharmacist in particular messes up the pricing on my prescriptions everytime. If I ask her to change it she is argumentive and refuses to find the correct one They charge the wrong codes, and sometimes they are charging 50 dollars over the cost I should be paying. I have had to argue with the Pharmacist to correct it, but she argues right back. It is useless to argue with her. The store staff and pharmacy assistants are friendly and helpful and nice. Was given a box that says it contains 3 tablets and it only has 1. Called to ask and the employee kept trying to tell me my brand new phone with 2 bars of 4g lte was breaking up. Even though I could hear them perfectly. When I got them they said my insurer wouldn’t cover all 5 and I’d have to come back for a refill in 3 days. Got home and the box that says 3 tablets only has 1 in it. Was told I can come back up tomorrow and get the other two that magically were removed from the box. I tried to say this is not convenient at all since I have pneumonia and the employee hung up on me. Called back and the machine says the pharmacy is closed. Guess she didn’t feel like dealing with me when it’s time to party. So now I get to go there tomorrow for the 2 someone stole from my box, then go back again later because of insurance. They wrote I could get a refill on the package, by 8/7, which is today. How do I get a refill in 3 days if the package says it must be refilled by 8/7? Horrible customer service. I understand they are behind, but I was polite. There is no way she had a hard time hearing me, nobody else does. Furious. Gonna have to see if maybe I can get it transferred elsewhere, if not I’ll be forced to try and make it work somehow. Not sure how since I’ve already been hung up on.By Kev (a year ago)

This Walgreens need better drive thru prescription services. They do not service you on a first come first serve basis. I have waited in a long line for an extended time only to have someone else ariving later be serviced before me. I have noticed this on other occasions. Everyone’s prescription is ready because you were contacted. This is not a logical system. It is suppose to be first come first serve. I have also been in a long line and waited even longer for them to bill my insurance which should be done prior to me arriving.
Always greeted by friendly staff and they make sure you were able to find everything you need. The employees here make it easy to want to come back
The worst pharmacy! My daughter tried to transfer her prenatal snd they day they can’t find her in the system. When she just got her scripts 2 months in a row. They are lazy just don’t want to do their job.
Pharmacy workers are clueless went there 2 times and prescription is not ready and third time they cannot find me on their system uneducated people
