Best pharmacy in town! Jerry offers a wealth of information – schedule a consultation with him to hear about your medication options/interactions. He gives friendly, reliable advice with patience and understanding. In addition, Nancy and Brenda work hard to fill your prescriptions and answer any questions. I saved a ton switching from Wal-Mart and they are so quick I have rarely waited for over 5 minutes after drop off to be done and on my way. Have been using them for over 7 years now and I have no plans of switching! Oooh boy. I do not make a habit of posting negative reviews, but this pharmacy is extremely infuriating, and nobody seems to care. The hours are extremely limited (9-5 M-Sat) and even that isn’t accurate. I remember a decent experience years ago getting a prescription filled there, but times have apparently changed. I had a prescription sent over on a Thursday afternoon, and silly me thought I’d be able to get it filled that day, so I went around 4, and when I finally got to the front of the line, I asked about it. Not in their system. Okay. Minutes after I left, it showed up as being processed in the app. Okay, the app updates to say it will be filled by 1:27pm the next day. Nope. It changed to say it was delayed, and it didn’t reflect my insurance. I went in at 4:20 or so to try to get the issue resolved. I was basically told to call my insurance on the item in question, and they weren’t getting to the item that day either
Day 3 (Saturday) I call in the morning to resolve the insurance issue. They update within an hour or two to indicate it is full. My wife goes in the early afternoon and the pharmacy is closed for a break. She leaves, and I come in at 4 to find that they just closed the pharmacy for the rest of the day because the pharmacist had to catch a flight. Really? No notice. I made a special trip to come in, and it isn’t open on Sunday. Four failed trips, and won’t get the prescription until day 5 of the ordeal at best. Never again.
I’ve been coming to this Walgreens for about 1.5 years. I don’t know if there had been one transaction that went smooth. Today I asked twice if my military discount was applied and I was informed by a clerk that it was. Sure enough it wasn’t but how do you reason with someone who is sure they are right? Register rewards never print – often the printer is just off. Why would you promote money back when you have no intention of doing it? Most of the staff are not knowledgeable about product availability or promotions but they are rude and unapproachable. It is unfortunate because this is the only Walgreens in town.
I don’t usually give bad reviews but I’ve had the worst experience here. I ordered a photo book for my wedding back in September, and they needed time to complete it because of not have the materials. That’s fine, I get that, I patiently waited. I had been emailing back and forth with one of there employees about it and had been waiting for a reply for him for at least a month. Finally I reply once again to find out it has been done and is ready to be picked up. I didn’t have a number on my account but every email I sent to them has my phone number so I can be reached. I wasn’t informed it was done I had to spend 3 hours on the phone to finally get an answer about it and the person I was emailing at the store was very rude and short with me.
Also the reviews I read on here said they don’t answer their phones and they’re right. Ive called three times to see if I can pickup my order, been put on hold and then they hang up on me.
I understand being understaffed. It’s unavoidable, however it is so frustrating that you continue to advertise for services you cannot offer. I wasted 45 mins choosing photos for an album that was “guaranteed same day pick up” only to find out the cannot offer same day services because they are understaffed. Also when another employee offered to do it the shift lead told her no and to focus on the things she had to do…apparently helpful customer service isn’t what she’s getting paid for.
Pharmacist did an excellent job with our vaccines. Was super sweet and patient with both my chill 4 year old and my terrified of needles 11 year old. The pharmacist who checked us in was also very kind, patient, and thorough.
