This CVS looks like it’s in a perpetual restock hell, as if minutes ago there was a 99% off flash sale and we are seeing the aftermath. I feel for these hardworking employees. What a mess.By Jim McHugh (9 months ago)Mr Edward went above and beyond!! I returned an item I had bought the day before but I had to use a 40% coupon off on it. The item was defective so I was going to get another one but they did not have one. Mr Edward gave me a refund and also was able to get my 40% back. Not only that but he checked the other stores to see which ones had it so I was able to go directly to another store and purchase it that day. You don’t see customer service like this everyday if you see it at all so I would just like to give Mr Edward I wonderful review and thank you!!By Michael Hodge (5 months ago)We are all tired of the “ short staff” excuse. It’s over. If you have staffing problems it’s because of you leadership.Takes 2 days to get a RX right and then when you are out of meds 2 days and late you have a 5 hour wait. I called it in a week ahead of time and even called the night before to make sure I could get my morning dose. Apathy and incompetence. Not only is the building dilapidated but the employees are lackluster and lazy. Not once was my medication ever ready when it said it was. I’ve had to switch over to a location way further to get my medications because they kept saying they would “reach out to my medical provider” for a preauthorization and just NEVER did. This happened yet again for medicine for my child, then they say that they aren’t able to order it but yet the preauthorization has been in there for a year. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. They do not follow up with prescriptions, they do not properly transfer scripts to the correct pharmacy and they do not have a pharmacist tech or manager. They aren’t properly trained on medication knowledge or even simple knowledge on seizures or asthma. As a business owner with epilepsy I WOULD NEVER use this location. Definitely DO NOT come to this pharmacy. No one answers the phone. While I was in traffic I put the phone on speaker and was on hold for 1hour and 15 minutes. When I went into the pharmacy and mentioned it, she laughed and said “I know” we are busy. No apology given by the cashier or the pharmacist. Other times when I’ve had questions the pharmacist acts like I’m bothering him. Guess it’s time to transfer pharmacy. This is the worst CVS pharmacy ever! I would give them zero stars if possible! The doctor sends a prescription for urgent pick up and it takes close to a week to get filled! Most refills take 3 to 5 days and when you finally get notified that they are ready for pick you have to wait at least 30 minutes more
This pharmacy deserves no stars. The sarcastic lady working in the pharmacy was the last straw. My family will never return to this place again for anything. So they will be losing our money, their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life.

I could write a book about how understaffed and rude a particular pharmacist is at this location. Also on occasions was given another clients medication which I returned to the pharmacy a day later . We have used CVS for many years but after yesterday’s fiasco, we are DONE. We recieved multiple texts to come pick up our medications. Arriving in the drive thru RUDE pharmacist’s said that’s automatic texts that they aren’t aware of and scripts weren’t ready. Told to drive around. Did so then still want ready. Asked to please give us our meds and we weren’t going to drive around again.. Pharmacist said if we don’t she would call the police and that WE were rude.
I’m not one to write reviews… but wow, I have never been to a pharmacy worse than this one. I’ve tried to stick it out but I can’t. I’ve received the wrong number of pills way too many times. I’ll ask them to count them when I’m at the counter but they’ve refused.
This CVS’s hours seem to be always changing I really don’t understand it!! You call the store and it says there open till midnight monday thru Friday. But guess what a 40 minute round trip turns into them being closed at 10pm on a Tuesday!!! Also the pharmacy definitely needs a rebuild for this part of Charleston you think CVS would hire more then 1 pharmacist!!!! Hopefully it gets better!!!
