  1. This is the most unprofessional group of individuals I have ever seen at a pharmacy. You had 7 kids you dare to call pharmacy techs and one pharmacist obviously overwhelmed. After being at the secondary window for more than 40 minutes we decided to pay online to avoid any more time wasted. Once we got someone to finally help. We were told we had to wait longer because their system did not reflect payment . After going back and forth with what seemed like a high school kid that thought the whole situation was just a big joke she finally called a so called manager by the name of Sonny Sanchez . Mr. Sanchez came up to the window just to tell me the same thing the girl told me. I asked him if he wanted to see proof on my phone where I had already paid but he refused. Seemed like all the employees thought the whole situation was funny as he told us there was nothing he could do and we could just sit in our car and wait. Corporate CVS really needs start paying attention to all the negative reviews this store has before they end up hurting a customer that really needs their medication. As for Mr. Sonny Sanchez you have no business being or acting like a manager. I hope you are proud of trying to impress all those high school kids you work with. Your impudence is overwhelming.

  2. This cvs has the worse drive thru service. Customers wait at the window for over 20 min waiting for prescriptions when the meds aren’t even done yet. Yet us customers who’s prescriptions are done have to wait in line. This is ridiculous. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The staff just says it’s normal and smile. Very unprofessional pharmacy staff!

  3. This pharmacy is the slowest in town. They are always running around as if they are all really busy but take hours to get your medication ready. And are rude most of the time. I don’t understand how the pharmacy from Target that is close by is so much faster than these people and yet they have a much smaller staff count. I try to always go to the Target pharmacy but those few meds I have to get at this pharmacy always take a long time to obtain.

  4. The pharmacy staff is absolute trash! They are rude, inconsiderate and you would think they’ve never had one bit of customer service training. Better yet, the idea of treating someone with respect seems to be a foreign language to them.

    Example 1:
I receive a call saying my meds are ready. I wait in drive thru for over 30 minutes to be told they “just received” the meds and I will have to come back in an hour. I go back in an hour and there’s 10+ cars in drive thru so I go inside. I wait in line for about 5 minutes only to get to the front of line and see the cashier closing the window because they are going to lunch. I’m not sure why they can’t split lunch like most normal industries in America. Why do all 10+ pharmacy employees have to go at once? Doesn’t make sense to me, but I’ve only worked in restaurant, education, retail and healthcare industries so what would I know? The pharmacy industry must have some special privilege…
Anywho, not sure why the drive thru associate couldn’t have mentioned closing for lunch or perhaps, what any normal business would do… PUT UP A SIGN!
So after I ask to speak to a manager, the pharmacy associate can’t find him so she turns and shouts in Spanish to her coworkers “this lady is mad because we have to eat.” Of course, I look like I don’t speak Spanish so when I respond in Spanish… she was a bit shocked. I completely understand the need for lunch, but a sign or communication would have helped. Shoot, even just a bit of professionalism. People pickup important medicine that could determine so many health related outcomes and the wait times are despicable.

    Example 2:
I requested to refill a prescription weeks ago(before the above incident) and I got an auto notification that says it was on back order. So I went in today, a week later, and stand at the register while the pharmacist just walks by me and is organizing a shelf. No one else in the store and no one in drive thru but he ignores me. I say excuse me, may I ask you a question. He grumpily says “huh.” I ask how I would be able to know the expected delay in a prescription…he responds “we have a lot of different doses so I wouldn’t know. You can call manufacturer.” I’m almost positive all he had to do was look at his computer and check… but that would be asking way too much. I called another CVS and they easily told me the expected date… and they didn’t even have my prescription!

This has always been the culture in that pharmacy, unfortunately people need medicine 24 hours a day so we ultimately have minimal options.

All of these comments are about the PHARMACY. The front store staff is absolutely amazing. I visit this location At least once a week and never once have had an issue from the retail employees. They are marvelous.

Pharmacy staff, 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

  5. I was scared to write a review but after looking at all the reviews on here i realized i was not crazy. The pharmacy staff is so incredibly rude and inconsiderate of people. My 6yr old was sick all night, i let the pharmacy know that i would be waiting for the medication and all he could say was “if you didn’t get a text thats not my fault”. Yes. I understand that. That is no way to talk to a parent that didn’t sleep all night taking care of a child that was sick., when i went in to the pharmacy in the middle of the night i let him know i would be waiting for it. I later went and spoke to a woman, that at first didn’t acknowledge me at all because she was talking to a friend over the counter. (I could hear the whole conversation) Once she finally decided to help me i only had a simple question i asked if they had my correct phone nunber on file, and the other man came in and told her to tell me to call because they don’t have my chil’s prescription. Unfortunately the doctors office was closed I stayed outside while the answering service was trying to help me get in contact with my doctor and I was not able to. I waited and waited and nothing. I went back into the pharmacy store I bought over-the-counter medication so that I could take home, while I received the prescribed medication from the doctor and I came back at seven in the morning and all this man could say was “oh your prescription was ready five minutes after you left” how is that possible if he told me they didn’t have it at all? How could they have the medication ready five minutes after I left if they didn’t have it at all on file I just don’t understand why he had to say that he couldn’t give me a courtesy call or anything? I was there they didn’t have any customers come in maybe one or two, he said that he was busy all night he was not going to be waisting his time on us…. I’m just very surprised at the type of employees they choose to keep. Specially after confirming that I’m not the only one this has happened to.

I also forgot to mention that he ignored me in the main window after he told me to go around because the second lane wasn’t working. He even passed infront of the window like if he was about to help me and walked away smiling…. on purpose??? Why???…

Tried to get the prescription drop off
Clerk to process Covid tests against insurance and he told us we had to do it online. We had
a relative process a request against their insurance at another location in the store without a problem. The clerk basically directed us to the other location, refused to let us talk to the manager, and hung up. This occurred on 2/2/23 at 11:40 pm. Do better CVS.

Long wait at rx line. Slow service!! 👎🏽

On 12/19, my sister and i are back to get the meds that they did not have ready on 12/17 due to them being “behind on filling rx”.

Well, again, there is a line. Only one lane open as the other is for covid testing only. CVS needs to get on the ball, Weigh the revenue from covid testing And the revenue from their repeat loyal patrons and change it up to make customer service at pharmacy more efficient.

    If CVS wants to
Continue covid testing, then set up a freaking tent.
Dont do it thru the rx drive up window.

My sister is my mothers 24 hr caregiver, she doesnt have the luxury of waiting for staff at CVS to get a move on. If CVS texts rx is ready, make sure that it is.

Just ask if you feel good when you hear ” I just want to help you so I let you wait one hour. Now the CVS is closed, you have to come back tomorrow” I am sick and waist one hour in the CVS until the CVS closed, but get nothing. If this CVS has trouble to find my account, I should be told early so I can go to others.

This review is for the pharmacy fat, blonde, bald pharmacist. He is horrible at his job mumbling in anger on requests. Ingores the clients to be talking to his coworkers on personal things. Send the wrong information when you request change of pharmacy. Last thing he did is he ignored me then helped a couple in line behind me and totally disregarded my time there. Rude, unprofessional.

This used to be my preferred pharmacy. These days i have to do all the leg work bc they can’t be bothered.
Also i came at 8am bc that’s what google says. Their avs says 9am and their window says 10. Which is it?

I used to get notifications that my prescriptions were ready now i have to call to find out.

Also prescriptions tend to go missing so i often gave to play phone tag between pharmacies and clinics.

Don’t get me started on the service of the staff. Just totally rude and incompetent.

The cashier was too quick to help coworkers that came in the store as customers than help customers waiting at the self-checkout line who had been waiting longer than the coworker/customer took to get her items and walk to the checkout. I hate sounding like the proverbial ‘Karen,’ but I feel customers who have been waiting to checkout should have priority over anyone and can’t just walk to the front of the line. The only register open was the self-checkout, with about 5 people waiting in line. No clue why the cashier behind the desk could not help customers waiting to check out but could help her friends/coworkers.

They change your appointments when you arrive. I stood in line for 20 minutes and they didn’t want to attend me

They always mess up on my prescriptions and they keep giving me duplicates of old medicines and even after i pick up the correct medication they’ll keep refilling them and sending notifications to pick up when me nor my doctor sent in refills and they never answer their phones so i have to go by and only to find out their not ready when they were sent in the day before and they’ll tell me to go back in a couple hours no specific time im sick and in pain to be up and down and waiting. Also my husband went by one time to pick up my medication and he only had to give my first name not last nor birthday or any other info so just anyone could have got my medicine changed pharmacy this one sucks !

If you refill prescriptions here by calling it in, why do they send it to another cvs? They keep doing this can’t you just give it to me there if you have it in stock instead of making people drive all over Brownsville
