I gave 4 Stars because one of the pharm techs, Marilyn, is so nice and efficient. But one of the pharmacists was very rude and loud with me when I initially left this review. when I went in to get a prescription filled.she really embarrassed me. I’ve been using CVS for years but the experience with that pharmacist almost made me change pharmacies. I’m always happy when Marilyn is at the window when I go by to pick up a prescription because I know she knows her job very well and knows how to treat a customer.By Glenda Baum-Kabo (3 months ago)Very close to there lunch time did not want to deal with us so blew us off until after 2pm very rude and not helpful at all also guy at the window refused to check for third prescription had our clinic on the line they sent all three scripts on same paper. Went inside the lady was rude and told us they were closing in 30 minutes. Did not want to add our discount very Lazy and unfriendly… Never have this problem with our CVS in Texas .. Do better West Monroe CVSBy Stacy Simmons (a month ago)I started coming here because of how bad the other local chain pharmacies are. Over the last few months, this pharmacy has taken a sharp nosedive.By Anna Brown (3 weeks ago)Customer service is practically non existent here. The pharmacy is unorganized. Went in just to pick up a couple prescriptions, something that should’ve taken maybe 5 minutes. And instead, I was there for about 40 minutes because they couldn’t find my stuff. The rude pharmacist kept telling me they didn’t have it, despite the fact that THEY had called ME twice telling me it was ready to pick up. The pharmacist clearly doesn’t like her job. She acted as if she couldn’t care less about finding my prescriptions. Didn’t get anywhere with anything until I finally asked to speak to someone else that could actually help me. How funny that the other woman was able to find it so quick, but the first pharmacist swore to me they didn’t have it. In the end, it seemed like the pharmacist just didn’t want to be proven wrong.
Gonna switch my pharmacy at this point. I never want to have to go through that again.By Daesha Sterrett (9 months ago)They are horrible. Gives 1/2 prescriptions then wont refill last half. Stay on hols 20-30 minutes!By kenneth griffin (a month ago)

Bathroom sink was broken. When I informed the manager he said it was motion activated and when I said I realize that he then proceeded to explain how he hacks the problem by touching his hands to the sensor. Maybe he doesn’t understand why there is a sensor. This guy manages an entire store.By Richard Gates (4 months ago)This CVS & it’s employees go above & beyond to satisfy customers. You could see how tough it was during Covid, they worked through it very professionally. ThanksBy Claire Broussard (2 months ago)Drive thru was so long ..this was today made no since on the wait time I went in and the car at window still hadn’t been waited on .I’m use to them having the best service and wait time but my last couple times was nothing close.they where nice but the just didnt have enough people to service customers..By Amy Sanders (3 years ago)I have been in line in the drive thru for forty minutes. I arrived at 5:30pm on a Wednesday. The line started with five people in front of me. There are currently three people in front of me.
At this point it seems mail order would have been faster.
Would not recommend.
To make things worse, AT&T 5g internet only gets 1.5mb here, so I couldn’t even watch TikTok while I waited in line.
Good news though, Jimmy Johns delivers freaky fast even to CVS the drive-thru line.
Also, the cashier was able to reduce the price of one of the medicines by $25. Adding a star for this.
Total time spent in line: 55 minutes.
By Tom Faulkner (a year ago)Every month latrisha Broussard is a problem trying to make life hard by giving false information and lying about what is in her system so you have to get your medicine late or not at all this little review won’t do any good but will be contacting managementBy Troy Sproles (7 months ago)

That’s it for our list of the best CVS in Monroe LA! If you have any arguments or additional information, please leave a comment. We love to hear from our readers too!
The pharmacy team is fantastic. They truly care for your health and well being. The staff was friendly, caring and worked hard to resolve an issue that was out of my control. They did not hesitate to answer questions or make me feel less than for being ignorant.
I truly appreciate their professionalism, kindness and prompt service.
I shop CVS often because of my Care Pass membership. I save lots of money on buying my household products, personal needs etc. I usually pick up my prescriptions easily inside or from the convenient drive through.
I have used CVS for years. I would say however, in the last eight months there has been a problem in the pharmacy! I cannot put my finger on the change. The employees and pharmacist seem the same, but in the last few months I have stopped getting the text messages that my prescription was being refilled or that it was ready for pick up. The computer would always say that the prescription was in process. When I would arrive to pick it up, I would always be told that it would not be ready until the next day. I have made numerous trips back to the pharmacy to pick up what was not ready the day prior, which meant I went without my meds the night before. I have even witnessed other customers being told their prescription s were not ready as well that were there to get their usual refill. I am seriously considering changing pharmacies!
I don’t normally go to CVS, but my insurance recommends to use them for the best prices. My son was in ER and medication was sent to them on our request. They were given several hours to fill the prescription. The lines were long other people in front of me didn’t receive their prescriptions. One woman told them that she made a special trip today because they said it would be ready on that particular day. By the time I got up there she told me it was not ready. She would send me a text when it would be ready. I don’t live in the area, so I asked if she could give me an estimated time. She rudely said I will text you. I then mentioned how my son NEEDS this medication today. Then she rudely said we are a week behind in our prescriptions. What?!?! my husband called the pharmacy we normally use, Mitchell’s and they were able to get the prescription ready within 30 minutes. I will never use CVS again. I don’t recommend anyone else using this particular CVS. They need to get their act together. I have never know of a pharmacy to be so far behind is giving people their much needed medications.
Set aside atleast an hour and a half if you’re walking in to pick up a prescription. Mine had been ready for days to pick up but the staff are glacially slow in just about everything they do.
