A visit to this CVS pharmacy is an exercise in patience my friend. Wow, I haven’t had a bad experience at a pharmacy in years but here we go… first off, nobody wants to manage the register. Both times i came up to the front i was ignored for a solid 10 minutes then eventually someone said “can someone man the front”. Finally had someone at the register and when I said I was there to pick up a prescription, guess what…it wasn’t ready… of course. It took 3 conversations and consulting the pharmacy manager before they agreed they had the script for several days but just hadn’t filled it yet… i would have to wait to have it filled. Ok, no big deal. It was filed quickly about 5 minutes later (hooray!) so i went back to the desk and guess what… no one at the register…again (boo!). So here again, after 10 min someone had to say “someone please get the front”. Someone came up to the register and helped the person behind me first for some reason. Not sure how that makes sense but ok… they were older and i don’t really mind…then came my turn to pick up my prescription with some other items I grabbed while waiting, well they rang up the script but not the other items. So, having not paid for the other items I just left them on the counter. I’d love to tell you who it was that was so “helpful” but half of the staff were sans nametag including the person who checked me out. Good luck if you are coming to pick up a prescription here folks, and try the big p word, you know… patience.By Ryan Lange (a month ago)Went to this CVS was waiting in line behind an older elderly woman. She got up to the register the MANAGER told her to use the self checkout. The woman said “I don’t know how” the MANAGER told her to “figure it out”. Have never been so disgusted with someone much less a worker in costumer service ever. THE WORST CVS STORE.By Emily Senteney (3 months ago)CVS on Cordova Road in Santa Fe, NM has no baskets, half empty shelves, locked up items that require you to search for an employee to unlock, no checkout except for one functioning self checkout that I’m not trained on, no more public restrooms, and …
It has become an UNSAFE ENVIRONMENT!
Thieves are openly allowed to steal anything that isn’t locked down and walk right out. I was told that they’re not allowed to do anything because it’s less than $1000.
The woman in the photo sat in the middle of an aisle and opened bags and ate and drank and had some candy, then put on some sunglasses and grabbed some other things and laughed at the employees as she walked out. Another homeless woman pushed her cart through the aisles and loaded items into her bags. They said they recognize about 50 people who go in almost daily and steal whatever they want.It used to be a safe environment, convenient, well stocked and the rewards program and coupons were a big plus.
By Sandra (a month ago)The owner of this store needs to wake up and manage it. Woefully lacking staff, they have closed early twice that I have gone there in the last week because the whole place had ONE employee working. That is not the fault of the employee. That is on management. Perhaps they don’t actually want business. Maybe time to move on.By Christopher Helvey (TechnoCat) (a month ago)Don’t go to this store. Website said store open until 10 pm. I was visiting Santa Fe and needed some cold medicine. We walked 1 mile to get to store. I have time stamped photo at 7:55 showing sign on door that store was closing at 8pm but door Was already locked. I have a photo showing customers and a clerk. Clerk
waved us off. When customers came out they held door so we could go in. Clerk said we couldn’t come in because I had taken a photo. I said I only needed cold medicine and it wasn’t 8 pm yet. She even admitted their clock showed 2 minutes to 8. I asked again and she said no. I said I was going to report her. She said she didn’t care. What terrible customer service. This was store #9263.By Linda Willoughby (a month ago)

The store would be perfect if they could just get rid of the pharmacy manager. She’s an old, gray bitter woman who clearly does not understand customer service, nor how to deal with individuals under 70 years old.
As a new resident to New Mexico, she made me feel horrible, publicly shaming me – as if I was seeking drugs, just for trying to refill my meds I’ve been on for 15 years. Not to mention, she couldn’t even fill a simple order, and I had to have my doctors call in several times after the fact. She needs a serious attitude adjustment- actually, honestly just get rid of her. She’s terrible.By T Patrick (3 months ago)FYI Photo prints are terrible quality, striated, blurry, and colors are way off, like whites are blue. They said printer ink was fine so this seems to be the usual quality. Worse than printing on printer at home. Employees are nice at this store, so didn’t deserve 1 star, but the photos doBy Thalia V (4 months ago)Lady was extremely rude. Didn’t call to let me know my insurance wasn’t accepted here. Drove 30 minutes to be disappointed. She was cold. Wouldn’t try to help me get it transferred elsewhere..usually pharmacies call to let you know there is a problem with insurance. This place does not. And then they are loud when you ask why they don’t call like Walgreens and every other pharmacy does..
Also the manager there is horrendously mean.By Kuma Shana (a month ago)Usually CVS is much better than Walgreens . I called in for a specific eyedrop in 30 pack sterile plastic viles. And was told it was in stock.when I got there .When I got there they did not have it.I didn’t quite hear the name on the phone. Because the person hung up. Then then got attitude from another cashier about it .I wasn’t upset or mean or anything .Frankly the Girl I got was extremely rude. She was obviously, having a bad day. She literally stomped to the row the eye drops were in a very Loud voice asked if I was coming when I did not move quick enough for her.
She was absolutely extremely Ageist.
I have Spinal Stenosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus. And severe Dry eye from Lupus.
I am not deaf, I am not, stupid, and I have my full facilities. I believe in life long learning and I still attend online classes at times in CAD Drafting. English Medieval Art. And languages.By L.E.M. Friedman (5 months ago)Melissa the cashier was Awesome! Super helpful and excellent customer service. People like her give me hope that there are still good people in the world!By Sense of Awe Music (a month ago)

I was short on medication moving here and had to get meds ASAP. Well I picked the wrong pharmacy. I tried to call to make sure my prescription was being filled. I waited on hold for about an hour and got cut off. Called back to wait 30 min. & just gave up and went in person to the pharmacy.
The line was extremely long and went extremely slow. There is no separate line for pick up and drop off. So I waited in a very long line just to ask them to fill my prescription. They told me it would take 3 hours to fill.
I waited all day and never received a text that it had been filled. I attempted going again around 5 and the line was even longer.
There is no way to get through to this pharmacy. I couldn’t ask about my prescription or reach them on the phone. I even tried transferring my prescription to another pharmacy.. however, since this pharmacy had my prescription status in progress the other pharmacy said it was impossible to take over my prescription. I just had to wait.
I showed up at 7:30 to fill my prescription and it was already filled. However I had not received a text that it had been filled. I understand that they are very short staffed and many people need medication.. I feel bad for leaving this review but if you have medication that absolutely needs to be taken everyday don’t to this one.
I recently traveled to Santa Fe and forgot to pack my meds. My doctor called the scripts into this CVS store. The auto response to the scripts was that it was too soon to refill. However, the pharmacy staff, recognizing the situation, promptly filled the scripts and had me on my way in 10 minutes. Thank you all so much for the assistance.
Drive through management in the pharmacy is awful. We waited 40 minutes to pick up a prescription only to discover that a tiny sign only on their window said that they aren’t filling prescriptions at the drive through-covid testing only. When I went inside to ask if they could kindly place a sign so that drivers know not to wait in the line, the pharmacy manager told me it was my fault for waiting so long. No sympathy, no apologies, and simply blunt and rude. My 89 yr old mother was waiting for her prescription and could not make the trip inside. Please do not patron this CVS location.
I have just been diagnosed type 1 diabetic and at the time of this post have not been able to get in to see the diabetic educator. The pharmacists took time to explain all my meds and proper instructions even though he had a line. I’m not being dramatic when I say that meant so much to me I could cry. My own doctor can’t be bothered to take time to educate me on my new life changing diagnosis but this man who has a line made the time to help keep me safe. Thank you!
I went to the Minute Clinic yesterday for a Covid check. I saw Ms. Sisneros, the nurse practitioner. She provided outstanding medical care — with both questions and explanations. She was well informed and professional. You had better believe that I will recommend her to all my friends here in Santa Fe. CVS is lucky to have her services.
