Pharmacy service is horrible! Go to a different location if you want faster service! We pulled up and 3 people looked at us and never came over for the first 20 minutes. We waited for over an hour for 1 prescription in the drive through! after ringing to bell and honking to get someone one’s attention they continued to attend to the line inside without even acknowledging we were waiting and while the drive through line was growing after 30mins of waiting someone finally came said the prescription wasn’t ready. Had the nerve to ask us to move out the drive way so he could attend to the costumers behind us! Didn’t apologize for the inconvenience didn’t say nothing just ignoring us! We got there at 10:40am didn’t leave until 11:42am completely unacceptable and un professionalBy Kiara Leslie (5 months ago)This location on MLK BLVD is shutting down next month, cant say i’m surprised. When I was displaced from work and lost my insurance I had to rely on GOODRX coupons. Through CVS that put my script at $75, through Meijer it was $25. When the majority of people in this country and especially in Cities still suffering the long term affects of redlining people do not have jobs offering insurance, they are unemployed and dont have insurance, or its bad insurance that does not cover the cost of
medicine. People are in general paid less by their employers simply for living in this zip code. Of course we’re not gonna fill our RX with CVS when they are charging $50 more after the coupon than their competitors. I had to move my medicines all to Meijer. Where it was affordable. It was a hassle to do that. I have insurance again, but why at this point would I move them back to CVS? I’d rather support a pharmacy putting people first.By Hannah C (Palindrome3D) (2 months ago)Pharmacists are wildly unprofessional and rude. Switch to a different CVS because the folks at this one are awful and the place is mess.By Lydia Kiewra (3 months ago)These folks have 100’s of prescription customers that depend on their prescription phone orders to verify orders and they almost never answer the phone so calling ahead is a zero with this cvs company always slow service.. factsBy Charlotte (5 months ago)I understand that their pharmacy closes from 1:30-2pm but they closed up earlier than that designated time and ignored me, rude.By Heather Hannon (7 months ago)

Ron, and Chris have been there the longest that I have dealt with and I love seeing the smiles on their faces. They do a great job. Don let them go. But they all do a wonderful job. Keep up the great work and thank youBy Julia Ousley (3 years ago)Cant say enough good about the CVS pharmacists and pharmacy staff located in the Target store in south Lansing at Edgewood Blvd.. Nicole, a pharmacist has gone way out of her way to help me with drugs for my dog. Rob another pharmacist helped me get a prescription filled in a hurry today and I appreciate the overall friendliness of the whole staff. Highly recommended.By John C (4 years ago)I look forward to going to the CVS inside Target on Edgewood Blvd. Rob, Nicki and Chris are always helpful and answer any questions I may have. Had a quick stop in for some makeup and drinks before a wedding. Products were well stocked and priced. The employee was friendly and greeted me when I walked in. Prices are ok, but that normal for a drug store. The parking situation is not great, but walking to it is fine if you are in the area.
I’ve been coming to this pharmacy for years now. Up until this point, I had minimal issues. They ran out of my medication over a week ago now, and every time I call to check (since the app is inaccurate), when I finally get through to someone they are incredibly rude. While trying to explain the situation, I was responded to with “Well if you would let me talk”, even though I was trying to provide relevant information. Whoever is answering the phones is very snippy and rude, when I am simply trying to make sure I get a medication I had to go cold turkey of for a whole week due to CVS’s mismanagement. This has been a truly awful experience for me, and I may have to consider changing pharmacies.
Edit: Apparently there was a manufacturing error, so not so much blame should be put on the pharmacy. However, I do think the communication on their end could have been handled much better, as being aware of the manufacturing error right away would have given me more time to find another pharmacy and resolve my issue.
I had some trouble last night getting an emergency prescription filled (my usual pharmacy was closed already, and then when I got to CVS I found out the company doesn’t take my insurance), and the young man and woman who were working the pharmacy that night were extremely helpful. They aided me in transferring the prescription over to another pharmacy that was still open and does take my insurance, and they were very polite and helpful through the whole process while I know I was a mess. Thank you!
Abysmal customer service from the Pharmacy. I showed up in the drive-thru window 12 minutes from closing time trying to get a subscription filled for painkillers after waiting 20 hours at Sparrow to get my appendix removed. I know showing up 12 minutes from time is not ideal but I can’t control when I’m discharged from the hospital following that type of operation. The lady at the drive-thru(white with short brown hair) claimed she would be unable to fill my subscription since “they were closing soon”. When I mentioned that I just gone through surgery, she says “Well the prescription safe has a 15 minute timer on it and we are 12 minutes away from closing”. So this pharmacist, knowing I went through an invasive surgery and was going through pain, willingly decided to reject my prescription because she wanted to leave 5 minutes earlier. This isn’t the type of culture this pharmacy has cultivated in the past 4 years I’ve been using it, so I’m still shocked at how a pharmacist can be so inconsiderate of the pain a patient is going through, especially when they work in the medical field.
Tried to get an appointment online for Covid Booster. Was told to sign in when I was at CVS. Apparently they “don’t have any appointments at a CVS near me”. It’s what I was told online. What’s the deal….I never even put a date in and CVS is 4 blocks from my house?
