Top 1 CVS Drug Store in Wausau WI
That’s it for our list of the best CVS in Wausau WI! If you have any arguments or additional information, please leave a comment. We love to hear from our readers too!
I have never had a good experience here. The pharmacy is terribly slow, even before COVID. I have waited in the drive thru for prescription pickups for over an hour on multiple occasions. I even got a text once saying my prescription was ready so I drove 25 minutes from my home to discover it was not only NOT READY, they didn’t even have that drug on the premises at all and it wouldn’t be ready for a week plus! This specific drug was VERY time sensitive and waiting around was not an option. I ended up going elsewhere and paying out of pocket…at least I received it within 20 minutes of my arrival. Most of the staff have a poor attitude and seem as miserable to be there as most of the frustrated customers. Unfortunately this is the only place my insurance covers for prescriptions so I have to subject myself to awful wait times and poor attitudes on a regular basis. I would rather spend ever single day at the DMV than few days here a month.
Absolutely no regard for their customers! We went for a PCR test we needed for a flight. The pharmacist told us they should be in within 48 hours. She left out the part the lab is closed over the weekend. She knew we were needing the results to board a flight. She didn’t care. If you call they don’t answer the phone. No respect for anyone’s health or important issues. If I could rate them 0 stars I would. Do not use CVS for an urgent test or anything else for that matter.
Slowest pharmacy ever. Asked for a refill 5 days ago and still in process. Have had no luck with getting a call through! Why does it take this long to do a refill?! I get theres are other customers, but 5 days?! Would definitely not recommend this place ever.
If I could give CVS zero stars I would . If you call here expect to wait on hold for at least 15 minutes. Prescriptions are never done on time. Every month they have to order my medication. Which takes another additional week. Today I talked to Justin after a long hold. Justin claims to be the manager. He was very rude and hung up on me. Justin said he had no control or say about what the pharmacy does. Not satisfied with the way I was treated I called back. Justin immediately hung up again before I even said a word. I will be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. There is absolutely no customer service here.
How is this place even still open? Minimally staffed and what staff are present are surly and usually hidden somewhere. Guy at the front today grumbled something about using the self-checkout when I asked if there was someone who could ring me up. The self-checkout is without question the most obnoxious such system I’ve ever used before as well.
Large sections of the shelves are bare, where product ran out and wasn’t restocked, including pretty basic things. You would imagine at some point, someone in charge would look at the full parking lot of Walgreens across the street and wonder, “what are we doing wrong?” but that moment of introspection does not seem to have come yet.
The only possible reason I see anyone coming here (and not many do), is that it’s annoying to take a left turn across Bridge Street.
