I have never written a bad complaint before. But this pharmacy is awful. My prescription reads on their website “on hold” and advises me to call the pharmacy. I have been trying to reach someone at this location for 6 hours now. I am brought to a holding line where no one ever picks up. It is completely unacceptable to never answer your phone call. I refuse to drive 20 mins there to be told I can’t get my prescription filled and to come back later because they don’t know how to answer their phone. I strongly recommend going to a different pharmacy.
First visit i was told to come back in 1 hour and Rx would be ready, came back next day then they said would be ready in 2 hours, came back 2 days later and was told it would be 45 minutes. Appears to be just Pharmacy Techs & No Pharmacist. This was a new script for me and they directed me to decline a consult with the Pharmacist which seems highly unethical. I watched many people in line finally get up to the counter only to turn around in utter frustration. I don’t know what the heck is going on there but it doesn’t seem good and to me it taints Target, I just want to avoid the place now because i associate it with frustration. 😔
This pharmacy is ridiculous. I have been waiting all week for one prescription of pain meds, has been showing “in progress” all week on their website. Have been over there 3 times, waited in extremely long lines, only to get people who could not have cared less about my situation. They seem to be limping along, very slow service, very long lines and uncaring employees. As soon as I get this prescription filled, I am pulling my family’s business from here and will never go back. Service has gone far downhill. Do not recommend.
This CVS location has definitely been a hit or miss for a lot of people based on their reviews. But, in my case, they have been consistently providing great service. I switched over to CVS when Bi-Mart initially closed their pharmacies down. It was an easy process and they were able to refill my prescriptions fairly soon after the switch. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable, and they get you checked out as quickly as possible. This location does get quite busy at times but they do their best. I hadn’t had any negative experiences with them until December of 2022, and this was not with the regular Pharmacist or any of the usual staff I have interacted with. I believe they had hired seasonal staff for the busy holiday season, and my interaction with one of the new people was not the friendliest, but it wasn’t enough to make me want to write a hasty, fuming review over one slightly negative experience. Nobody is perfect, and you never know what someone else is going through. So please be kind to the staff, they are extremely short staffed and over worked, and they’re doing their best!
I should note first off that I am posting this review based on interactions I’ve had as a customer picking up for a family member, as I do not use this pharmacy for my own personal medications.
The staff are generally very friendly and amiable despite being persistently understaffed and obviously dealing with frustrated customers.
The online rx system is unreliable. Frequently it will provide the incorrect status.
This could be a lot of knock-on effects from the pandemic, but there seems to be a lot of kinks still needed to be worked out.
